I've been wanting to find an alternative to the dealer for some time. I almost tried a garage 1 mile from my house but the reviews were not good. Shores is only 4-5 miles so, when the battery on my X5 died, I figured this was a good test. They had great communication and explained what had to be done (it's not straight forward) and did it promptly. I also had them fix a plate on my seat that had been broken for a few months. The dealer wanted $800 to fix it but Shores did it for $420!! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and will look to them first next time my vehicle needs anything.

Took care of my Mini Cooper when the dealership didnt ! Great communication, great team! This was an unbelievable experience and won't let anyone else touch my car! Thank you Billy, Conrad & Chase!

I just can t say enough positive things about the crew at Shores. They are what everyone looks for in a great mechanic/automotive repair shop honesty, quality work and a fair price. I would never consider bringing my BMW anywhere else. There s a reason they have been in business a long time!

Outstanding quality of care, attention to detail, customer service and knowledge of Mercedes Benz. They got me in within hours, handled the rental car, and had me back in my S550 the next day. Ultra patient. Explained everything, showed me the areas of concern on my car. I'd give more stars if I could. Thank you, Billy and Team!

My warranty ran out and needed a reliable place to have work done. Found this place through a circular and am I quite satisfied with my decision. The place was well run and the employees were cordial and competent. Found their pricing extremely reasonable considering anything having to do with BMW can cost a small fortune. An added bonus is I didn't have to drive 40 minutes to the dealer.

Hello! If you are looking for a honest, open book mechanic consider calling Shores Automotive. They were kind to me and seem to be a family oriented Mom and Pop shop. They showed me everything I needed to know going on with my Mercedes. We all know Mercedes are expensive to repair but Billy and his associates quoted me in my budget. I am glad I chose shores and also received a warranty on the parts! I will come back because I am confident they will keep my Mercedes in good shape.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is a wonderful place! We have a small2013 Mercedes. We ve.always had it serviced at the dealer, but after a bad experience we found Billy Craven and Conrad, is chief mechanic. They inspected the car (free), showed us what should be done, and gave us an estimate. They did double what the dealership had recommended for the same charge. They found a part for $7.00 that the dealership was going to charge us $1000 for (the dealership said both sides and an expensive middle mechanism on the convertible top would have to be replaced because a plastic cover was missing). These guys are thorough, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and reasonable. The car runs like new. Shores automotive is an excellent place to take your vehicle to. I ve been going there for over a decade and the service is amazing. Billy is an amazing and honest guy. Conrad does impeccable work. Most honest service shop I ever experienced that offered genuine service. Provided a free diagnostic on my BMW and explained, in detail, a quote of all that was needed. Unfortunately, my car was too far along and would of cost more to fix than what it was worth. Billy Craven could have easily nickel and dimed me on trying to fix. Instead, he provided his honesty opinion.Thanks again Billy!

Shores Automotive is the premier automotive mechanic shop in all of south Florida when it comes to fantastic customer service. Everyone in the shop is so pleasant and makes you feel like family. They listen to your concerns and perform a thorough diagnostic on your car. You can be reassured Shores Automotive will only repair what needs to be repaired. I live 31 miles from the shop, and to have a piece of mind of knowing I am not being overcharged is worth my time and travel. BEWARE! I took my BMW to Shores Automotive for a head gasket replacement as they have been sending me filers for years exclaiming their cheaper than the dealership market position. The flat rate labor guide list 3 hours for the repair. Billy had 6 hours in the estimate. When challenged on the variance from the labor guide, I was told it was for a test drive and cleaning. Both of which, to the extent that they are even required, I assume would be included in the 3 hour flat rate. Making matters worse, my car managed to come out of the shop with a new problem, despite the supposed test drive to ensure all is in order. A sensor governing the transmission was no longer working rendering my car unable to generate enough power to navigate a bridge incline on the ride home from Shores. Having had enough, I returned to the dealership were they quickly and reasonably repaired my car. As an aside. Billy quoted a non OEM 900 CCA (my BMW has a 950 CCA) battery replacement for a little more than $600. Another shop quoted a non OEM 950 CCA for $470. The dealer replaced it with an OEM 950 CCA battery for $450.Service: Engine repair

Updated June 3, 2022:Although Billy and team do not usually work on Land Rovers, they recently helped me by replacing all four tires, and balancing the wheels. While under the vehicle, they noticed that the lower control arms on the vehicle had cracked/missing rubber covers on the joints, and the bushings appeared to be worn. Since November of 2019 I complained about creaking coming from the driver's side front to a local Land Rover dealer. It was under factory warranty at the time. They did nothing, claiming nothing was wrong. I ordered the parts needed and had Billy's team replace the control arms on Wednesday this week. After taking off the old parts, they discovered the ball joint and the bushings on the driver's front were almost completely worn out. After the new parts were installed, no more creaking!Even if you take your car to a dealer and choose to pay their high prices, you may get substandard service. Billy and team once again went the extra mile to ensure the safety and reliability of my vehicle. I have nothing but great things to say about this business.____________________________________________________________________I have been a customer since 2014. Billy and his team have always done exceptional work for me and my vehicles. This shop is honest and they care about their customers. Although they specialize in BMW and Mercedes, they installed two tires, balanced all four, rotated them, and performed a full alignment on my Range Rover Sport during my last visit. Billy and his team are truly wonderful. They have amazing customer service- so friendly and helpful. Billy was very considerate and explained exactly what needed to be done with my car. He genuinely is a very nice man. His mechanic Kyle was very polite and worked quickly and efficiently. Prices are fair and the work done is beyond satisfactory! No complaints whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone! Billy Craven Automotive is a blessing!

We recently made a decision to keep our 2014 Mercedes Cabriolet as it only has 23k miles, runs perfectly and looks brand new, but needed some maintenance as it is 7 years old. After a long search we decided on Shores Automotive and boy did we ever make the right decision. Amazing group of people to work with from the family ownership to the professional staff and mechanical engineers. If you are looking for high quality workmanship at 1/3 the Mercedes dealership cost, this is definitely the shop for you. And I almost forgot todays follow up call from owner Billy that goes a long way with me too. I won't even think about going elsewhere. See ya again guys.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My husband and I have taken our cars to Billy Craven for years. He is very good at fixing cars in a timely manner, but more importantly, he is extremely honest and trustworthy. He has bailed us out of several car emergencies over the years. His prices are reasonable and he is a very nice person. I have recommended Billy to several relatives and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for somebody great to work on their car!

Best BMW mechanic shop I have ever been. Extensive knowledge and very professional. No games just straight to the point. Amazing follow-ups with very detailed explanations about what is going on. Bmw Dealer couldn't find the issue, they figured it out less then 24 hours. Polite, timely and efficient. So far my 335i runs perfect. My car was detailed and washed after the repairs without even being asked. Way better than the Dealer and their attitude and pricing. Courteous, Honest, Trustworthy...In an automotive repair shop! Normally unheard of, but that has been my experience with Billy Craven/Shores Automotive. I have had my BMW and my wife's Lexus serviced with them for years. They take the time to explain and advise what is needed, not just sell parts. Billy and Conrad the Master Mechanic, are very knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Billy was amazing. My experience with Shores Automotive was incredible! He did keep my car for 5 days, but he called everyday and made sure I had an update. He never left me just sitting in the dark, wondering what was going on with my car. He was very honest about everything and very kind. He did everything he could to save me money. This is the guy I trust with my Benz from now on.

Billy, his daughter Tori, and the floor mechanic staff are incredibly detailed and most of all honest!They truly care about their customers, and it shows in how the clearly explain what needs to be done, how they follow-through and follow-up!I highly recommend and trust them to take great care of my BMW. Billy is a world class person and his company reflects it. Not only did he quickly diagnose a complex problem on my car, he was able to fix it quickly. He also went out of his way to make sure I got the best rate for a rental car and without any hesitation provided me uber service back to my office. Billy is a pleasure to deal with and you will always get an honest approach and price for service. I would highly recommend Shores Automotive to anyone with a BMW or Mercedes.

Extraordinary service with a home town feel you can't find in any auto repair shop. The team of staff from the receptionist, the mechanic including the owner who all truly care about your experience. They are detailed oriented and saved me thousands of dollars. They even pointed out repairs that I could have covered under my factor warranty and sent me back to the dealership where it was fully covered at no charge. Trustworthy, exceptional service and my mechanic, Conrad, treated my car as if it was his own. Great place!!!
