I am in the business. If I wasn t- Pete and his team would be the ONLY shop I would go to. They re top notch. Whoever dropped a 1 star review is full of it- and likely shouldn t build a performance vehicle. Pete fabricated some aluminum tubing for one of my clients and it came out great. found this place on the lamin-x website as an installer and all the reviews were good, so i gave it a shot. Pete does really great work and takes pride in what he does. walking around the shop i found an evo that was getting some major work done to it, a supra, and some other gems.the do mechanical, performance tuning, have a paint booth, tire mounting and balancing , and just about everything under the sun. great shop!

From day one, the experience at HDWerks has been phenomenal. Pete, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and gave my fianc�e and I some useful information about our 1997 Nissan 180SX Type X we recently imported from Japan. Without much car knowledge, Pete made us feel comfortable that our car was in good hands. The attention to detail, the care about the car, and the suggestions he made increased our confidence with HDWerks immediately. When we picked the car up after having multiple seals replaced, the steering rack rebuilt, and all unnecessary electronics removed (the previous owner in Japan drifted the car and caused a lot of wear and tear on the vehicle) we were in awe of how great the car not only feels but looks after leaving it in the hands of Pete and HDWerks. Pete was also extremely accommodating regarding dropping off/picking up our car since we work full time. It is clear Pete does incredibly detailed and inspired work and cares about his customers and the job he s doing. I bought some new wheels for my car and was looking for the right shop to mount the tires from my old wheels. Peter and his mechanic were able to get me in earlier than anticipated, and they got the car returned back to me sooner than expected the day it was dropped off. I had brought my car to them before this, and I plan to return for more modification installs. Peter is extremely knowledgeable, and his prices are fair.

Thank you to Pete and his crew at Hd Werks for bringing this Jeep to life! Grateful to have finally found a shop I can trust and bring my vehicles to with no worries. I'm so happy with the job perform by Peter at HDWerks. Peter made my alignment and installed my exhaust that sounds great. The job was made perfectly and on time, thank you Peter and HDWerks!

I can t say enough about HDWerks and Peter. Any time someone asks me if I know any solid shops, he s the ONLY one I recommend. And I can say that comfortably because I ve had quite a few bad experiences with other shops working on my Skyline- whether it be being put on the back burner, insanely high parts/labor prices, terrible work in general, I ve seen it all. I m so happy to have found HD, honestly. Clean/friendly environment, incredibly knowledgeable tech, great prices...this is the only place I ll bring my projects to!

Purchased a set of TE37SL CENTER CAP ADAPTOR's and they are PERFECTLY color matched and machined. Love these and at only $150 what a deal!. Thanks HDWERKS!

I reached out to Pete at HD Werks for a some center cap adapters for a set of TE37 SL s for my GTI. Pete was really helpful and quick to ship out my adapters, he even didn t mind me texting him asking him questions from time to time. The adaptors fit great! Over time this anodized black color somewhat changed color (most likely due to the wheel cleaner I used to use) So I reached out to see what I could do and he was extremely generous and paint matched them to my wheels for me. Even though I only purchased some round pieces of metal, Pete s easy going attitude and awesome customer service is definitely a win in my book. With that said, it s also pretty clear the level of performance HD Werks is capable of if you take a peak at their IG account, really amazing stuff. After some bad past experiences with car shops, I had almost given up hope that my 2005 Evo 8 MR could ever be more than a raggedy mess that ran sporadically and was only marginally quick @ 490 whp. To make matters worse, I had just gotten into a small fender bender with an uninsured driver, so I was at my wit's end with the car's looks and performance. I was ready to try a new shop or just sell the car since it didn't make me proud to be the owner.Since I had recently heard about HDWerks from a Facebook group, I decided it was worth the short trip to go get a quote to fix the rear bumper/fender from the accident, and to increase the overall reliability of the car. However, I got way more than I expected from the trip. From the moment I walked into the shop, I knew this was THE place that I wanted to work on my ride. There where 3 Evos inside the shop that all had the most immaculate exteriors and engine bays that I had only ever seen in pictures online. Needless to say, that trip inside the shop made me make the decision to get more than the bumper fixed.I let Pete have free reign of the car to make it look like a proper Evo. After some extremely hard work, time, and expert advice/guidance from Pete, I have to say I have been flabbergasted with the results. The level of detail and craftsmanship that I have seen go into the car is worthy of more than an A+ grade. Also, he constantly kept me updated with the progress, and even went out of his way to make the necessary adjustments to things that we didn't even have in the contract just to make it "right." There is no perfect word to describe the feeling I had after picking up the car, but ecstatic would be the most accurate. Not only was the exterior and engine bay immaculate, but it also picked up an easy ~140 whp on the same turbo/block/cams with some appropriate mods.If you're looking for a place to bring you ride to get it spruced up, HDWerks is the place. Whether it be slight exterior mods or "moar powah", this shop and the staff are more than capable of making your dreams come true. Special thanks Pete and Scott. Rock on brothers.

Where do I even start...Pete and his shop has always been such a breath of fresh of air on how a business should be run.Above and beyond attention to detail on most things others would over look. Absolutely no run around with these guys, honest and direct to the point. HD WERKS claims the standard that every performance shop should aspire to be. Top Notch.

This is the ONLY shop that will ever touch any of my cars. Pete (owner) is one of the most reputable trustworthy guy I have ever dealt with in this industry. He tells it how it is. I am always confident, satisfied, and extremely happy with everything from service, to hospitality, to pricing, to execution. He goes above and beyond for all his customers. I have referred dozens and dozens of people to Pete with not one negative remark. HDWerks is the best in the business hands down. Thank you for everything Pete!

Man words can t describe how amazing this shop is and what great work Peter does. He treats every car as if it s his own. The day I brought my car in he made sure to keep me updated with everything and always recommended parts to make the car perform better. Whenever I needed him he would always answer the phone or get back to me later in the day which isn t always the case with every shop. I like to say I started as a customer to becoming good friends with him. Peter keep doing what you do and I will be forever grateful for the time and work you put into my car. Highly Recommend!

Endless love for this shop. Always get a fair price for an experts work. The guys there go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want done, and that it is done to your liking. Full custom workshop is definitely a great description of what you're going to get. When you arrive there's always a nice line up of unique cars, these guys really work on anything. They paint too! Always will be my shop of choice, Pete has my business for life, from big to small they do it all.

Where to begin with such an outstanding business. Walk in and already feel like family, direct answers and no BS. Everything is done above expectation between time and quality. My car was brought back to life with a simple paint correction, major bugs fixed from other shops and everything in between. Now all my vehicles will come here. Honesty, integrity and pride in their work is what this shop stands behind. You will not want to go anywhere else. Customer for life! Pete and the guys have been lifesavers to me. They are professional, fast, reliable and they were the only mechanics in the area that were able to figure out the problem that I was having. Pete turned my problem into a blessing, my truck now runs great. I was surprised how fast they found the problem and impressed with the cost and quality of work I received. If you're looking to get treated like royalty this is the place to come. From the times I've been to the shop, I've seen some pretty trick things being done and would highly recommend them for any work you have planned on your own toy. Aside from doing a stand up job and going out of their way to go the extra mile, Pete and his team are the most honest trustworthy people I've come across. And I have worked with quite a few shops. He tells it how it is, he works with you to make every scenario possible, and they always want to do it right, which if you are looking to modify car that should be your first priority. After almost a complete restoration on my 99 bmw that I could not be happier with, he now has my second project in just one year.

Let me say this....I am a business man with over 400 different vendors and I wish all my vendors worked and put forth the effort as Pete (the owner) of HD Werks! And to be honest my first communication with Pete wasn t on the best of terms as I was just coming to him after another performance shop did less than acceptable work on my Mitsubishi Evolution as it was barely drivable...so I was a little upset by the time I met Pete. But within 5 minutes, Pete calmed me down and set up an appointment to come see him the next day. Barely making it to his shop he immediately dropped everything to shake my hand and begin working on my car to make sure it was at least safe to drive! I left the car with him for 2 weeks to fix what the other shop was not capable of handling. The end result was a car that not only looked amazing (yes Pete also does paint and body work)...but the car also drove better than it looked!He not only fixed and made that car better....but also fixed my other project Evo Show Car and got it up and running perfectly in 2 months after it has been sitting for 4 years broken down!!! He even helped me install a new stereo in it so it s stereo performed as good as it drove!Literally Pete is the Car Wisperer for performance cars....he knows exactly what to do to get them to perform their best for their owners!!!All I can say is Pete will always work on my cars...regardless of where I live as he is literally the best mechanic I have ever met! No only do I consider him my main guy for all my automotive needs...I also consider him a friend....and that says a lot about Pete and his company HD Werks!!!!

Extremely caring and knowledgeable owner and staff, a true one stop shop for all of your performance car and automotive needs. I had recently picked up an evo 8 from out of state and brought it to Peter and his crew for some maintenance/brake work and they blew my expectations. They got my car up and running in perfect shape and in a timely manner; and their customer service was incredible and refreshing. I strongly recommend HDwerks for anyone needing any kind of servicing done to their vehicle. They are a gem in this industry.

Where do you begin? This is a true full service shop. Peter will make sure you feel at home and are treated right and pretty much bring any of your automotive dreams to life. He is the only one in the area I would trust with my car. The quality of work he has done for me, and the other projects I have seen leave this shop are second to none.I dont know if I could ask for anymore. He has made me a lifetime customer.

I was getting my car serviced at a nearby mechanic and was killing time checking out some of the beautiful cars they had out front near the street. I was facetiming a friend, staying on the street, and was showing the other person the cars, when a mechanic stepped out and told me that, the customers do not like it when their cars are filmed, and he told me to leave.A couple of things: 1) There is nothing illegal about filming cars from the street staying off property, especially when I wasn t getting License plates or acting shady. 2) The customers do not like it when their cars are filmed? What a load. That s half the reason for having a car like the ones at their shop.Had to write this review because I experienced a level of unprofessionalism that was unmatched in recent memory. I can promise in the future I will not be bringing any of my JDM vehicles to this business. Taking out frustrations and anger on others is a big pet peeve of mine. Hopefully others have not been subjected to this type of behavior and will not be subjected to it in the future.

The owner Peter is one hell of a guy, treats his customers like family. He has kept all timeframes for my build and him and his staff really know their stuff. Highly recommend him for anyone looking to do anything from basic maintenance to high end custom work. Keep doing what your doing Peter!

If I could give this shop 0 stars I would. Coming to HDWerks just reminded me of why I don t go to any performance shops. I went in because my WRX was stuck in first and wouldn t go into any other gear and the very first thing they tell me is oh it s the transmission ...of course, let s just assume i need to replace the whole transmission right then and there. Turns out it was a small pin that goes in the shift plate...a $20 job vs the thousands of dollars it was going to cost me to replace the transmission. The only good thing that came from this shop was the discount I got from the towing company across the street for being at HDWerks.

Great experience. Dropped VW off for some sorting out as a previous shop did a turbo install and slacked on workmanship. Within mins HD diagd the lean misfire and then did a great job reorganizing wiring and piping for vacuum and oil lines.

The owner Peter is a scam artist who doesn't have a clue in customer service. Takes money and puts your car on the back burner for years at a time. He doesn't have a clue as to correcting his mistakes burns many bridges and thinks it's okay. Only because he owns the shop bad for business... Dont bring your car here....

Pete has always taken care of me for anything I had asked of him. Whether its giving the evo some love or my mother in laws daily. Whatever you ask for, is done to perfection. Pete has helped me out countless of times with. Oh you need an ac compressor, come over we ll swap in the new one. Oh you need me to change all fluids a couple days before a race event, no problem. Oh you want me to fab you some titanium goodies, no problem. He has gone as far as to drive me over to get a rental in the middle of a torrential down poor way after shop closing. Hdwerks will always have my business as long as Pete is running the show. Thanks brotha.

Hdwerks From day one has shown my car and I nothing but top notch service. Pete has helped me build my 07 accord from the start and has Always surpassed all expectations whether it is part installs or fixing the axles And other things I break. suspension, wheels and tires, paint, bodywork, you name it, bring it here and get done right the first time.
