I had an appointment at All American today for a synthetic oil change and I left feeling frustrated, confused and mad. I have taken my car there before, and thought they were a good, honest shop. About 10 minutes after the mechanic took my car in, the man at the front desk came back to me and said that because my tires were purchased in 2017 and 7 years old, he couldn t work on my car. For insurance reasons. I told him that he didn t need to do a tire rotation, only the oil change and he said it didn t matter. He said your tires are in real good condition, but we still can t work on your car. Then he hands me an estimate for $654.98. He was quoting 4 new Kelly tires at $363.60 and the rest was for the oil change. I purchased 4 new Michelin tires on 8/12/17 and my mileage at that time was 104,578. My mileage today is 134,693. So, I ve only put about 30k on these tires, and there s absolutely nothing wrong with them! Well, I refused the service and left.

I took my car for battery issue. They claim I need to change my tires before any repair be done, because they are worn. I told them I have lifetime membership with a dealer and I'll take it to them. They said I have to change tire and then go back for repair!( the car doesn't start up!).I'm paying towing company again to take my car to dealer. Waste of time and money with this shop.I noticed other reviews with the same issue, people go for brake, and they make them change the tires.

All American Auto Repair in Boca Raton falls far short of what one expects from an automotive service center. When my son's car was taken there for a routine flat tire repair by his trusting grandparents, it turned into a nightmare of unnecessary expenses. Rather than addressing the issue at hand, the shop shamelessly upsold them on four new tires and a replacement tire rim, which, conveniently, had been damaged by the shop's own mishandling.But the audacity doesn't stop there. When my husband went to pick up the vehicle, he was horrified to witness the staff engaging in predatory behavior towards an elderly lady. They coerced her into unnecessary repairs, preying on her vulnerability and falsely asserting that it was a "safety issue," when in reality, a simple puncture repair would have sufficed.Adding insult to injury, we have solid evidence in the form of a written document from our regular automotive service provider. This document unequivocally confirms that we were egregiously overcharged and subjected to unnecessary expenses at All American Auto Repair.This written support from a trusted business underscores the severity of the situation and exposes the deceitful practices of All American Auto Repair. It's clear that this establishment prioritizes profit over integrity, exploiting unsuspecting customers who trust them with their vehicles.In light of these revelations, it's imperative for consumers to be vigilant and avoid falling prey to such unethical practices. All American Auto Repair's reprehensible conduct reflects a blatant disregard for basic standards of honesty and transparency. This establishment should be avoided at all costs, as supporting their deceitful behavior only perpetuates the exploitation of innocent customers. I had a flat tire, went to them for an estimate and they quoted me over $500 for a new tire because they said there was a nail in it, and they could not patch it up. I went to another mechanic for a second opinion, and he removed the nail and patched it up without even charging me. I think dishonest businesses need to start being called out by consumers. I'm tired of doubting every estimate I get.

Worst place ever !! If I could choose zero stars, I would. They have no clue what they re doing and messed me around big time. They told me I needed something done to my car (after only going there for an oil change) - and when they did that service, the car was making a loud noise which they couldn t rectify after I went back 4 times to give them a chance to fix it. They use faulty parts and obviously have staff that have no clue! DO NOT go there !!

Showed up for my 9:30 appointment on time, but walked into an empty front office.Had to wait 15 minutes for an advisor to talk to, and eventually I had to go find him in the back.At that point, 3 other customers came in and were also getting frustrated.Devro proceeded to let me know how difficult my headlamp bulb is to change, obviously trying to dissuade me from leaving my car.I should have been alerted of the serviceto come (or lack thereof) by the pile of trash NEXT to the garbage can by the front door.Was my first time to use this shop.I won t be back.If they don t care about their own property, they certainly don t care about YOURS.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I called to order a tire that took 45 min on the phone said they had it when I got there they didn t , waited to handed them the keys , on my walk home got a call they have a policy to replace all 4 tires nothing was said prior I ve had nothing but great experiences w them in the past , but how it is run now I will not be back .

Used their service before with no issues. Made appointment to have my work truck AC repaired and had a 10 am. appointment. Had to call at 4pm and told they weren't finished although they had six hours. They said they were working on car, but wouldn't be done till next day. I had rescheduled all my work to next day as I needed truck for my next day appointments. I told them I needed the truck and couldn't leave it. I went to pick up my truck 15 minutes later and it hadn't been moved all day. If you want a shop that lies to you, can care less about appointments and does not even acknowledge that they screwed up your time this is the place to go.Service: Air conditioning

Had a flat tire and the lady didn't tell me if she can help me or not, was very rude and wasted 30 minutes waiting for an answer I didnt get.Front desk was empty.

Honest work and great service. After comparing reviews of local shops, I decided to have my car towed here- a great decision. The service tech on the phone was knowledgeable and friendly. I arrived after closing but was still greeted and taken care of by the nice woman that was in the office. The following day my car was fixed and ready quickly for much less than expected. I received a text with the full report with photos. The entire experience was professional and quick!

I have been bringing my cars here for the last few years. Multiple instances where I thought a significant repair was going to be required and it was instead a simple fix in which they didnt even charge me. Other shops would have taken advantage. Also, they dont overcommit themselves. If they cant fit you in, they wont tell you they can and then not be able to do the job in the promised time. This is in contrast to the Tire Kingdom next door. Overall, I am happy to have found a place that I can trust and rely on for my family s cars!Services: Engine repair, Oil change

I had a wonderful experience here. I brought my BMW for a battery installation, but my battery ended up being fine. The staff were professional, the waiting room and bathroom were clean, and they were honest. Despite them not needing to render services to me, they did assess my situation honestly and told me the reasons. I find that very admirable in automobile repair shops!! 10/10 if I could.Service: Battery

I really want to like this repair facility. Really nice people and quality work. Just frustrating when you tell them to perform a certain simple procedure and they make a decision to do something else. I m paying. Please just do what I ask. Asked to have new tires put on the front. Specified front several times. Front wheel drive car. Instead they rotated the back tires to the front and put new tires on the rear. Gave me some lame explanation that that s what they are required to do. BS. Don t think I m going back. Shame cause they are conveniently located for me. Going to use my mobile repair guy in the future.Service: Tires

had to get my mother's car serviced after 4 years of sitting idle in a garage. Corey & crew were simply outstanding. Had the car back in operation under a week, for a fair, competitive price. Replaced my starter that was about shot .-very nice people , just started taking my truck there this last year as u was sick if the dealership . Do a good job but are still a bit pricey and I didn t know they were using a re manufactured part last repair, I feel like u paid full price for new but it wasn t. Was going to mention it but didn t as truck is running good , just no surprises next time !:)Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been using my Lexus and Mercedes dealers for service and their prices are outrageous. I was referred to All American Auto Repair by a close friend and could not be more pleased. They are honest, friendly, respect appointment times and charge a fraction of what the dealers charge for exactly the same service. I also compared their pricing to some of the independent foreign car places specializing in Mercedes repairs and found that All American Auto is significantly below those places as well. This shop is awful. They gave me a written estimate of $409 for an oxygen sensor for a Mitsubishi Galant. The repair was supposed to be done same day. They never contacted me that day. Before end of day, I called and was told that they did not get the part yet, and the car will be ready next day by noon. Next day, they never contacted me. When I called, they told me, that they are working on it. Then, all of a sudden, I received a new text message with a new estimate. This estimate was for $2,088, and called for a new manifold/catalytic converter. When called, they said that the car is rusted and they could not disconnect the oxygen sensors. I did not agree to the estimate, and took the car to another repair shop. The new repair shop found that one oxygen sensor was disconnected, and the other was broken in the manifold. Thus, All American returned the car to me with a broken sensor in the manifold and a disconnected sensor. They never told me. When I called afterwards, they admitted that they broke the manifold. This shows dishonesty and professional incompetence. They never should have undertaken a job, without the owners knowledge and approval of the danger. Furthermore, after the sensor broke off, they should have informed of that fact.

Nice shop for people that don't know anything about tires. I came in with a tire that gets flat at night and they didn't find the hole so they said they had to take tire out and there's a lift charge........ !!! Very simple problem and they are making like they have to perform a surgery in the car!!!!! Not first time they do that to me so I decided to leave this review here!!!

I had a nail in my tire and needed to have it plugged up. I pulled up and told them my problem and they immediately got to work on it. They had me in and out in less than 15 minutes. DISASTER......I booked an oil change as I've done many times before. I arrived 15 minutes early and they took my car in immediately. I was happy because the last time it took much time to do a simple oil change. I asked if the price would be the same as before and Sheila told me it depended on the oil and filter etc., because I brough in a different car. this time. Well this time it was a disaster. It took more than an hour and 15 minutes to do a simple oil change. They had staff just walking around aimlessly and really not doing much. Totally poor management. Totally disorganized. Finally my car was ready and I went to pay. Sheila presented a bill for over $100. I was shocked as the last oil change was about $40. She said it was because my car needed synthetic oil. Well she didn't ask me if I wanted this or regular oil when I checked in but she just decided to do it on her own. They had me over a barrel. They had my keys and wouldn't give me them until I paid the outrageous bill. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. SHEILA WAS UNETHICAL BY NOT GIVING ME A CHOICE OF OIL AND OIL FILTERS. OBVIOUSLY SHE PADDED THE BILL FOR HER OWN GAIN. Don't get caught by this place. AVOID IT....Service: Oil change

I brought my car in to replace the catalytic converter because that s what the error message said. They tested and retested and told me it was not needed. Most likely faulty code. In 28 years of living in Florida, this is the first HONEST mechanic shop I ve visited. This was my first time using this shop. Not only is it very close to my home, but the reviews that I read before choosing to go there were spot on.Their service was great and efficient, the staff very friendly and informative, telling me about their Rewards program, Carfax connection, and AAA affiliation.This is the first auto shop I've used since moving to Florida in September and it is now definitely my go-to shop.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

I was referred to this place for a tire repair. I had a screw in my tire and when I called they said come on by up front and we will take care of it. I got there and they were very nice and took a look. They said that since I had less than 5/32 left they could not repair but I would need 4 new tires which they quoted for $1076. He then took out some fancy measuring device to show me the measurement LOL. He eyeballed it before that point. I left and went to Costco and they told me that I had plenty of wear left on the tires and they repaired it for $15. The tires only had 15k miles on them so I know they were still good. This place saw an opportunity to try and take advantage of a person driving a nice car. No thanks, I won't go back and deal with dishonesty!

Latest update: So I just had to update my review because I had my alternator replaced and they did an excellent job as far as parts and price. Thanks Ramy!This is the most wonderful place to have any repair done! Excellent service, professional, and very friendly. They treat you like family and will give you an honest quote which is hard to come by these days. Say hello to Devin and Sheila once, and you will know what I mean.
