Been taking our vehicles to Stacy and Ray at Affordable since we moved to the area 7 years ago. We ve had nothing but positive experiences with them. I will be a customer for life. Every last bit of my experience here was exceptional. It s hard to find an honest auto mechanic with fair pricing, This business has both. Not only that, everything was completed in the time frame I was given. My vehicle is running better than ever. Stacy even came to pick me up when my vehicle was ready. That isn t a normally offered service but since I live close by, they helped me save the cost of an Uber. I am so grateful that this place was recommended to me.

I have brought my car to Ray for over 10+ years. I refuse to go anywhere else. I love the job they do here at Affordable Car Care & Tire Center. They make it very affordable for me and leave me no issues at all. If you need any repairs done to your car, you need to come here!!!!! Full disclosure: I am a former "dealer" customer who was tired of the price gouging and assembly line attitude. Took my car for the first time today for an oil change and to have a tire checked that I suspected had a leaky plug. Got there early and they took my car right away. I had a warm and friendly chat with Stacy while my car was being serviced and I was extremely impressed with the professional service job and the personalized care given. Ray and Stacy are amazing! They have repaired my family/friends/customers cars for years! They are HONEST and take the time to explain the main reason why you need the repair. They are also mindful that these are tough times and they go the extra mile every time to get you the best price. Stop going to bs mechanics and stop by their shop. The service here was beyond impeccable. Ray is the best, most honest mechanic I ve ever dealt with. My truck runs better than ever because of him. He goes above and beyond to save you money. It was a Godsend finding him. I only have the highest regards for Affordable car care and will definitely refer all my friends. Having your car/truck serviced/fixed there will be the smartest decision you can make regarding your car.

This place says that they will detail your car but they farm it out to other car washes in the area. DON'T TRUST THEM! You are better off going to any other place than them. Ray and Stacey are great, Ray is a really down to earth guy very genuine and will get the job done no matter what even if he's there late night and that's what u look for. I highly recommend this shop and Ray for ur car problems they will help u out any way they can to get u back on the road in no time . I have been coming to Affordable Car Care for a number of years- to take care of my Mercedes, and I have always received excellent, timely, and caring service and treatment. Since discovering Affordable I have not returned to the dealer I highly recommend this business. 5 Stars all the way.

Ray is an outstanding mechanic, I have been going to his shop for about 1.5 years now, my car has been running smoother and whenever I leave his shop there s never any Did you know your car had this and that problem also... . This is a review of my overall visit, not any car work done. We didn't make it that far, unfortunately.I made an appt. with them to get an oil change for $20 cheaper than my last mechanic.My visit went as follows: I entered the front door, the lady behind the desk gave me a friendly greeting despite being on a call, which I appreciated. She said I could sit wherever, and something to the effect of "don't mind the clutter, we're moving stuff out/around to get ready for the holidays." All the while, she seemed cheerful, lighthearted, and personable. I felt comfortable there, already.I asked for one extra request besides my standard oil change, before they took the car in: my gas tank has a puncture in it, and as a temporary measure I've been getting putty put over it to help slow the leaking, so I asked if she could do the same. She refused, her reason being: "It's a safety hazard, driving with a gas leak." I'm guessing her response had something to do with liability since obviously she would know that any help slowing down the leak is better than none at all, if I'm not going to replace the gas tank, altogether. Nevertheless, I let it go.Then, a gentleman came in from the garage, and that's where things started to go south relatively fast. His only words, in a loud, angry tone, were "There's NO oil in there, AT ALL, not on the STICK, NOTHING." And he went back to the garage.Not sure what the problem was, because I've been overdue for an oil change before, and I've never once heard a mechanic make a scene about it like that.The lady asked me, "How long have you had this car?" I said "Since 2010-'11." She asked "And you've kept up with maintaining it?" I said, smiling, "No, not particularly well. I actually can't wait a whole 3,000 miles, because the engine is burning oil, so I'm doing it now at 2,600 but ideally, it needs oil at about 2,000." She then said "But still, you didn't feel it while you were driving?"Now, to nobody's knowledge but my own at this point, my car has a bent frame rumbling against the engine. With or without adequate oil, I feel it every time I drive, especially while idle.So I asked her "I'm sorry, what would I feel?" I don't recall her exact response, but I think she mentioned shaking and noise. I said, not as an insult but to inform her, "Well, you couldn't have known this because you haven't driven it, although he (the gentleman who drove it) would know--" and I was about to explain the frame damage having a similar effect on the feel/sound of the car, but she cut me off mid-sentence and said, smiling and speaking firmly, "*Excuse* me, I was standing right next to the car, and I could *hear* it making that noise." I said "Yes, but it does that, regardless, because of frame damage. The frame is bent against the engine, so that's why it shakes (I should've added "according to my previous mechanic," since IDK much about cars). We can wait until the oil is put in, and then see if it still does that." She made the facial equivalent of this gesture: .By then, I was already so uncomfortable with the interaction that I just said "Actually, I'd like to take the car back, please." She was cooperative, which I'm grateful for. She went back and I'm assuming she told the gentleman to bring the car out for me. She came back and said "Your car's outside for you," and I said "Thank you."I went outside, and the gentleman said, again, still sounding angry and now forceful, "There's NO oil in this engine, come here and look!" I just said "I understand, I'm just not comfortable with how this interaction is going, but thank you for bringing that to my attention."I got my car, and immediately called my previous mechanic to schedule an oil change.Edit, 4/12/22:Read your response. No one talked to me about noise/shaking until after you came in and said there's no oil. Also, "sometimes people don't want to hear the truth about their cars," referring to me: what truth? It needed oil badly? I've neglected it? Subframe vs. frame? All things I wouldn't mind hearing. Doesn't address why I left.

Ray has fixed all of our cars for 10+ years and he is the best!! Much better option than going to the dealers. Very reasonable prices and honest. Highly recommended !!

My mother is very comfortable bringing her car to this car repair shop. She feels confident having her car evaluated and repaired at this location. And it is great that it is a family run company in East Boca. For me it brings peace of mind knowing that there is car repair company nearby for her car needs that she trusts.

Ive got a 99 tacoma. when it comes to old cars you need a mechanic who can tell you what to fix and what to live with. That type of advice takes honesty and Ray has always shot me straight. If you want a talented honest mechanic Ray is your man.

***DO NOT GO HERE***Ray straight up lied to my face about breaking off a spark plug in my engine block.He was aggressive, defensive, and arrogant when I confronted him. He was the ONLY person who "tried" to fix my car, I had to then get it towed to a shop for them to tell me whoever was in there last broke it (which is why it stopped running).Terrible way to do business, at least own up to your mistakes.
