Thomas was awesome. He actually answered the phone, walked me through a couple trouble shooting ideas then we made an appointment for the next day. He kept me updated via text as to when he would arrive and when he was on the way. Showed up as promised on time got the work done and very reasonable priced. Thank you guys!

Amazing people. So nice and fun to talk to while they work. They lifted my jeep and did it perfectly. Also explained everything else I need to get done in detail. Best mechanic I ve had since I moved here.

Called them up after they had a full day of work and they showed up 45 minutes later! Fixed the problem and explained what the issue was in good detail. Super quick and knowledgeable about all kinds of vehicles too. If I have any more issues I ll be giving them another ring. I would highly recommend 10/10.

Had Thomas come to Marathon to do a full Timing Belt replacement with Idlers and Tensioners as well as a Water Pump and full Serpentine Belt service with Idlers and Tensioners and also a Starter. 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse . Communication was good. I knew up front what it would cost and when it would be finished. I found him polite, knowledgeable, and professional in all ways. I would recommend him without hesitation.

These mechanics are hands down the most skilled, thorough, and honest that I have ever worked with. I have an older jeep that needed some work -- they were super responsive and fixed the issue quickly and for a super reasonable cost. I would give them six stars if I could, highly recommend!!

Great communication, fast, and very helpful! Fixed my alternator within an hour and runs better than ever. Super thankful for the help in such short notice! Highly recommend and will be calling back for any other car problems!

My BMW broke down in the keys and Thomas came out to where I was at and diagnosed my car told me exactly what I needed since it was on a Sunday and everything was closed. I had to order the part straight from BMW and then he came out 2 days later installed the parts. He is extremely knowledgeable, him and his wife are very customer service friendly. If anyone breaks down or need a mechanic in Big Pine Key area, just give him a call and I promise you - you will not be disappointed. Thank you Thomas And Christina. This husband and wife duo are AMAZING. We were pulling a 32 camper from Jax to Big Pine Key and wouldn t you know our breaks in the truck started acting up around Marathon. Called them and they came to us next day (Sunday at that!) and fixed us up. They were so fast and so nice - my husband and I were impressed!

I called Thomas around noon and he was able to come to my house that evening after an already full day. We had been suffering with an ignition lock issue for over a week and no one could get it resolved...except Thomas! Within 35 minutes he had the issue corrected!Outside of his trade craft excellence, Thomas was extremely polite and totally professional!If I ever have any issue with anything I can drive or dock, I m calling Thomas!I d give 10 stars if that was an option!

Had to have our thermostat replaced on your GMC Terrain. Emailed Thomas and he was able to come to our home and replace it today. He and his wife arrived on time and did everything for the price that I was quoted. I would highly recommend using them for any of your mechanical needs.

I had a fuel line disconnect from the high pressure pump and it was spraying fuel all over the engine compartment. Thomas was able to come out in less than an hour and, despite the inaccessible location of the fuel pump, he as able to get to it and repair the hose. He was 100% professional. I had my car back in under 2 hours. Way better than having it towed to a service station. Highly recommend!

I replaced my alternator but I could not get the bottom bolt and tensioner installed. I called at 5:30 pm on Thursday October 20 to set an appointment for the next day. Christina made the appointment for 3 pm on Friday but said I should talk to Thomas for suggestions on how to install the bolt. She took my number and Thomas called me back in 5 minutes. He gave me several suggestions and I was able to complete the job myself with no trip to my house. This cost me nothing. This is excellent customer service and I will definitely use them in the future if I ever need service. Thank you, JohnService: Electrical

Christian and Thomas are really helpful people. My car wasn t starting, so I wanted to schedule with them. I talked over phone to Thomas and he helped me find part numbers for inlet hoses which were torn and potentially causing the car issue. He helped me without charging any money and that's so kind of him! I ordered the parts and attached them by myself and the car started fine.. Huge thank you to both of you...They just don t get your money like others, instead they help you and only charge money when the car problem goes beyond your capability to fix and they have to work on it. Great service and hopefully everyone will use their service.

I don t often write reviews but I had to take time for this one. Thomas and his wife Christina are wonderful people. I had an unexpected dead battery and they were kind enough to fit me in between appointments! They were quick and efficient getting my replacement battery for me and finding an electrical issue that was causing the problem. Before leaving, Thomas took the time to explain the issue and showed how he had resolved it. Extremely reasonable price for such great service! The best mechanic and only mechanic I trust with my car in the keys. Always ready to help. Doesn't rip me off and does a fantastic job every time. Plus his wife is AAA+. So thankful to have him as a mechanic.

Christina was very nice and helpful, I called on a Saturday and she was able to schedule Tom the same day! I was amazed by how quickly they diagnosed the issue with my truck. This same issue had been going on for years now. The dealership could not find the problem but Tom knew almost right away. I had a coolant problem on my 1998 Honda CRV on Christmas Eve. Contacted Tom in the morning he was booked for the day and suggested Monday. I informed him I need my car running before then he said if they had a cancellation they would be back with me. Latter in the morning of Christmas Eve his wife s called and said they could come later that morning. I said great please come. They arrived when they said they would be there. They ve checked my coolant saw I was low on coolant suggested they pressurized the system to check for leaks which they found water hose was leaking very minutely hat to see made the repair which corrected the problem wanted me to test drive my vehicle I suggested he test drive it because he knows more about what to look for regarding the cooling system. He test drove my car for about 15 minutes came back looked under to hood to check if there were any more leaks all was ok he charge was very reasonable especially a on Christmas Eve I highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again. Tom woks with his wife and they are very nice honest people. You won t be disappointed if you use them.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Unfortunately I haven t had a good experience. They have come to see my vehicle and changed the battery but it wasn t the main issue, he didn t even checked the liquids etc. later I found out that coolant was leaking. I have billed 200$ which I understand for them to come and look but next day when I told him vehicle still not working, he said they can t come upcoming few weeks. So not finishing the job(not finding out what is wrong), charging 200$ and not being here in key west for couple weeks is just not acceptable and very inconvenient.

YThe Thomas Hughes and wife team offer by far the most outstanding auto repair service that I have ever experienced. Their professionalism and knowledge is only surpassed by their dedication to take the best care of your car.... and you, their customer! Thomas and Christine came to my home to replace a fuel pump, three belts, and a faulty mechanism that was not allowing me to turn off my brake lights. They worked me into their already busy schedule, made me feel like their most important customer, saved me money with their VERY fair pricing....and completed each task successfully! I text messaged Thomas Hughes Mobile Mechanic late Saturday explaining my problem, they were quick to respond and got me scheduled for Monday afternoon. They showed up as scheduled and were upfront with their labor and repair costs. Thomas was able to diagnose the problem rather quickly, which happened to be an issue with the starter. They explained their process for repair. I ordered the part and the Mobile Mechanic team picked it up and returned promptly to get it fixed.
