Swander s Automotive is perhaps the best automotive shop I have ever been to. The shop is well organized, clean and efficient. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. Swander s is honest with their analysis of your vehicle and estimated repair costs. They will NEVER try to upsell you to purchase unnecessary services or products. My only regret is that I didn t find Swanders sooner.

Really love this place and trust them with our vehicles. We have had a variety of work done here on our 15+ year old vehicles and have always felt that the communication was open and honest, including with price transparency. They've even helped us with rides when we couldn't wait for our vehicle to be ready. April is wonderful in the front and is on top of it. Thanks for what you all have done for us!

Wonderful and trustworthy people, great service and priced well. Took my car in for a diagnostic issue and because it needed to go to the dealer, I wasn't charged a thing. Thank you Swanders! :-)

Quick service,friendly staff,clean seating area and great prices. I loved getting a text reminder and a detailed report on my vehicles needs, but they didn't try and force an upsell. I had a great experience at Swanders. My family has lived close to Swanders and recently, I had a situation where I needed an opinion from Swanders. I went in to have them check the oil level, and they determined that the oil had been overfilled. They dropped everything to help me out and within about 10 minutes they had pumped the excess oil out and had me on way. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and overall great people. You can't go wrong taking your car here.

Marcus is BEYOND INCREDABLE, we have never seen a mechanic like him, as a gay couple we felt SAFE THERE, he was & is AMAAAAAAAAAAZING HUMAN BEING, his customer service skills are AWESOME!I wish more people & businesses locally had even just 1% of what this amazing place & incredible employees have to offer a customer

My daughter is in the LHS Marching Band. Mark, the owner of Swander s, not only allowed them to use his place but he went beyond helping this students to have a successful car wash fundraising experience: being there with them the whole time, let them use his supplies, bought them lunch and even went to the neighboring gas station to ask them for permission for the students to promote their services. For someone who serves his community and support students dream. I decided to bring my father s car there for service. It was not disappointing at all. I was very impressed of how he treats his staff and they all were very friendly. Mark was assisting every employee with whatever they needed while working. He didn t just lead from an office, he lead by example. His employees were all very happy and enjoyed their work because they were appreciated. April, the service manager was very informative and knowledgeable. I think my cars have found its home for service needs. Thank you for being a wonderful role model for the community. Swanders has been taking care of all of my vehicles for the past couple of years from trailer maintenance to major engine repairs. They are top notch, professional and go above and beyond on a regular basis to make sure that my vehicles are safe on the road and running to the best of the vehicle's ability. Even though a couple of the vehicles are older and have a lot of miles on them. They are fair in their prices and if I take into account all the things that they do that I never see on a bill they are by far the most economical, trustworthy garage in the county. I just wanted to take a moment and say if you don t know about Swander s Auto . Let me tell you about them. I am so impressed with everyone there. April is fantastic! She knows her job and really good with customers. I met Zack and thanked him for his hard work! Now Mr Swander is way up there! He works hard every single day there! The owner and shop personnel are very accommodating. I did not have a ride either to the shop or to pick up the vehicle. Swander s went out of their way and provided shuttle service for both trips.Everybody was very pleasant and professional.The service provided was reasonably priced and included a nice warranty.I will definitely use them again and let others know of the quality service.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I am truly blown away with the kindness this owner and team have shown me today. My battery died on me while my husband who is a surgeon was in the middle of a patient s surgery, all the way in Ocala.. I did not have anyone to help me and I live just a few blocks from this company .. the gentleman was able to squeeze me in their busy schedule (holiday season) and help me ! Very professional, kind, and truly have the hometown feel of what we are missing now days with other businesses! I HIGHLY recommend this company for all your auto care needs! New to the area, so first time customer. Very pleased with the service. Very professional staff, courteous, honest and accommodating. Listened to my needs and addressed everything I asked for, and did the work in a timely manner. Very reasonable cost as well. I had a great experience today at Swanders automotive. I rolled in, with a nail in my tire. I had no appointment. The owner stopped what he was doing to repair my tire. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Thanks for the great job.

After contacting AAA for a flat tire and not hearing anything from them, a person at church called Swander s and asked them to help me. I understand that the owner himself came to my assistance. The jack that came with my vehicle was insufficient to jack it up so he went back to the service center and returned with a real jack. At that point it was about a 5 minute task. Thank you so much Swander s, you are much appreciated. I now have a place to send everyone who asks, including my family.

This the second I ve used Swander sThe take you as soon as possible. 3 Other Tire Shops are always too busy help out the same day. It s come back early next xyz day and leave the car all day and we should be able to get it done.Not with Swander s. They work you into the flow as soon possible. In this case they got the car up on the lift and determine what s needed and what your options are. We decided to replace one tire with a different model of the same brand. Our original tire is no longer available.They ordered the tire, put on the spare and took the wheel/tire that needed replacement so that the next morning when tire was delivered they could mount and balance it. We brought the car by that afternoon and rotated the tires so had the new and 2nd best tires in the front with oddball spare back in the trunkTheir prices are more than fair. I am fuss budget when comes to my cars and strongly recommend Swander s next time you need some work .Service: Tires

We have a vehicle that needed some work. We have been putting it off because of our mechanic moved away. And we hadn't found anyone else that we trusted. We decided to let this place check our vehicle out. They were what we were looking for! They were great they diagnosed the car and gave a estimate. They did a excellent job. My vehicle is running great. I have been raving of how good they have been to us. High five to the great service to this company. Will be using them for all of my vehicle needs!

I swapped out some suspension components on my project car, so it needed an alignment. When I called to request the work, I was asked why I felt the car needed one. I appreciate a company who is willing to help educate a customer instead of just looking for a payday.There were no hassles of any kind. No requests for additional work or scare tactics (even though I know my car is getting close to needing tires).I would highly recommend this shop and will use them again when I find the need.Thank you!

I erroneously tapped one star and should ve tapped them all. I ve been going to Swanders for over 17 years and would recommend them to anyone. One of the things I like best is when I go in to get normal work like an oil change or tire rotation they look over the car completely and if they find any trouble they notify me right away that otherwise might have gone unnoticedService: Oil change

We retired to Florida almost a year ago. My career was in TV broadcasting, but I worked part time in the auto repair business as an account exec for a transmission rebuilding shop. I have been in many repair shops in my day. I am very picky about who I allow to work on my cars. I have settled on Mark Swander's Automotive in Beverly Hills. Friendly staff and spotless repair bays. Thoroughly explained, no nonsense information about the work. Very fair pricing, and quick well done repairs. I recommend them highly.

If you are ever looking for an honest repair shop, Swander's is the place. They have worked on several of our vehicles on some very difficult repair issues that even the manufacturer/dealer could not repair. I have an occupational background in electrical and mechanics and I fully understand what a challenge it is sometimes to locate an intermittent problem and Swander's systematically goes through the process with ease. April always keeps us informed on the status and clearly communicates with the customers. They have earned our trust and respect as professionals in their field. They also honor veterans with a discount for your service.

I had my car towed there because the key was not turning at all so car would not start. This was my first time and chose this place based on positive reviews online. BIG MISTAKE!!!He told me on the phone about 3 different possibilities and said the most expensive would be needing a new turn ignition and new keys ($500). I agreed to that and said that was fine if that was the case because I was kind of expecting this (read online happens to my kind of car a lot).I called a few times and kept getting the run around but finally was told it was going to be done and ready for pickup. He said I should be so thrilled and happy because his mechanic was able to fix inside ignition and get it to start. No need to buy new ignition or new keys.WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!I was flabbergasted. I said that it not what we agreed to on the phone. I said I told him I was ok with $500 most expensive fix if that is what was needed. He just kept telling me how grateful I should have been. Grateful for what? Doing a makeshift job I NEVER agreed to and have NO IDEA what his mechanic did to my car? This was my first visit there, so no trust foundation built up yet whatsoever.I was NEVER EVEN TOLD about this UNTIL AFTER IT WAS ALREADY DONE!!!! This is not remotely acceptable to me. Great way to build trust. LOLOLOLOLHis entire attitude the whole time was unbearable.This is the absolutely WORST experience I have ever had with any so-called reputable place. Did they even try to order and replace ignition? Apparently NOT even though that is exactly what I agreed to on the phone. MAKES ZERO SENSE.UPDATE: the makeshift job is already showing signs of failing as key has been resistant to turn and I am afraid to drive anywhere and turn car off and get stuck again. But when that does happen even though supposedly 3 yr warranty on labor/parts, I would not take back there if he was the LAST mechanic on earth.

Came in for a second opinion after another local shop had left my car in worse shape than I had brought it in. They identified all the issues of the other garage's poor work, and I'll be armed with enough evidence to dispute the bill. April was a huge help and extremely forthright. Tommy was knowledgeable and polite, and identified the issues immediately. I can t express how impressed I was with this business! I just moved here from New Mexico and was looking online for a place to take my car as it was an emergency! Luckily I found them and even though they were busy, the owner said to bring it in right away and he could probably help me! With no way to get home after I dropped it off, he had his amazing son drive me home! They are so friendly and personable! My car ended up having more than just minor brake problems. The owner was so helpful and honest! He helped me save money as much as he could! They got my car done as soon as possible and called me every step of the way! Always kept me in the loop on what was going on! As soon as it was ready he offered to have someone pick me up! I can t thank Swanders business, family and staff enough for their wonderful service! I will definitely be referring them to everyone I know as well as using them for all of my cars needs! They are extremely family oriented and it s a VERY clean and nice place as well! I can t imagine anyone having anything but positive comments to make about this business! Coming from New Mexico, I have experienced BAD, unethical and expensive mechanics! These people are far from anything but great! Thank u Swanders!
