Although they were able to get our truck in quickly and the repair is fine, the price was ridiculous. Coils go bad on F150's; we've had more than one replaced over the years and 1 year ago it was 1/3 the cost. Next time we'll drive back to Chilson's in Floral City.

They get it fixed ,but a little too expensive for me !!!!... They need too be more reasonable they are charging $800 to change a starter in a Honda I understand that it's a little difficult but my son did it in less than 30 minutes took off the parts I need to take off to get to the starter and I understand the parts 280.00 you probably get get a little cheaper I can understand it's $500 profit I can send $3 or even $250 above the part but come on $500 please

Having been a service manager the last 28yrs. I can honestly say. I wish I had a crew like this in my shop. Called same day. Got an appointment and done same day. I had a request to keep the passenger rear wheel in its location due to a severe bend that has been shaking my fillings out. This car rides like it just came off the show room floor. Not to mention tje staff is amazing and very personable. The value, amazing. I will refer this shop to everyone I know. They you guys!!!

I was very pleased with my cars care at Gary's last week. They worked me in to their busy schedule and did a great job. I had one issue after getting home, but they got me in the next morning and took care of it. Highly recommended.

Many communication issues such as showing up for an appointment and being told that it had been canceled when in fact I had called to add balancing to the tire change. They kept moving my appointment time later. I waited an hour into an hour and a half session before receiving a call that they needed the correct key; got it to them within four minutes and was told it would be another hour and a half. Had repeatedly told them it was a hybrid car, yet they explained that the fee 30+ dollars over the estimate was because they did not know it was a hybrid. I will not be going back as cannot trust that I will be communicated with and dealt with honestly.

My son took his non-running mustang to Gary s and after a month and over $1000 it still doesn t run! They said it d be another 6 weeks before they d work on it some more. They gave up $1000 richer!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

These guys are the best in citrus county! They are fair, professional and friendly and skilled. I feel like the entire staff goes above and beyond for their clients. I have used them several times over the years for repairs and have never been dissatisfied. The gentleman at Gary's offer their best services, even under scrutiny and doubt. When I had fresh troubles a few days after a service appointment from them, they took the time to identify the new problem and cover it under their original services from before. I consider this standard of integrity an integral part of their warranty, and their word, so I'll rate them as they deserve to be rated. Robert was great. In fact, the entire staff was great. They were all friendly, courteous, and helpful. The prices were reasonable, and my vehicle was repaired in only a couple days. I recommend Gary's Automotive to everyone!! :)

I just moved to the area. My research lead me to an established auto shop. Gary was friendly and easy to deal with. I had a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with a brake issue. I drop it off, had it evaluated, and repaired in about 4 hours. The.price was reasonable.andnthr work outstanding. Gary is and will be.my go to mechanic for all my needs. Thanks!!

Had appt last week for oil change & a/c. Went in they said maybe later that day. Rescheduled appt for today. Brought in 5 min before appt. An hour and 45 minutes later the oil change was done. I had told them not to recharge the a/c since it appeared to be working; we had some extremely hot days a week or so ago. Very nice personnel and very helpful on car stuff.

Took my Vengeance Racing built 950 RWHP C6 Corvette to Gary s due to electric fans failure. Little did I know that I had many more problems including rack and pinion leaking, belt tensioner and pulley failures, a defective battery, stripped threads on my supercharger clamps, leaking power steering hoses, terrible front and rear alignment. Problem was the parts were all difficult to find due to the RHS racing block, A&A supercharger and non-stock belt alignment and pulleys. Gary and Robert are top notch professionals. My car was kept inside and occupied their precious few bays for 6 weeks. They kept me informed and showed me everything they found. These guys are really great. All this was expensive but I now have the car back and it s absolutely perfect. They found some serious issues I was unaware of but they insisted on getting it right for me and it is. So glad I found them and am completely confident and satisfied with their work, integrity and fair pricing. Thanks so much guys!!!!

My car broke down near their shop. (just across the street actually.) I got ahold of them and they were nice enough to come take a look at it where it was. They got me running and took me back to their shop. They gave me two options. They showed me exactly what was wrong and told me how to fix it and said I was able to take my vehicle and do it myself it or option B was for a very reasonable price they would fix it for me. At the price they quoted me I felt that it was just as easy for them to do it. They got me in the same day and fixed it right up. They were very informative about what they were doing and what the recommended. If I had another automotive issue I would not hesitate to take my vehicle back to this shop. The price I was quoted for the repairs was the price that I paid at the end and I believe they went above and beyond during the service.

They not only did the repair that needed to be done to keep my car on the road but they also gave me a list of maintenance repairs with no pressure to have the repairs done there. I spoke with Robert & Mike. Both men are pleasant to deal. Neither of them were condescending the way other mechanics have been because I'm a woman.

I took my 2014 Cadillac in for an oil change. Warm, friendly and welcoming environment. Excellent! No high pressure sales tactics, no trying to up-sell you just straight forward honesty. They adjusted my tire pressure and recommended a brake flush, but no high pressure sales tactics to get it done right then and there.

Stay away from this place at all cost. My check engine light was on. Took it in to have it fixed, because I was leaving for Georgia the same day and they said it was a sensor needed to be replaced. All was good when I picked it up,$488 later, but when I get about 75 miles up the road the light comes back on. I stopped at another repair shop and when looked at it, the sensor they said they replaced was the original factory one still on it, and it turned out that it never was the sensor, it was a vacuum hose. All these crooks at Gary s did was reset the code which was only a temporary fix, $488 for nothing.! When I called them, they refused to do anything about it. Crooks Crooks Crooks.!!!!!! Stay away from this place.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Great service ! Robert is at the front desk and Tonya as well they are both very professional and really have a good people skills they relate to their customers very individual basis and make sure that their service is satisfied. Don't really get to meet the mechanics except when they come out to the front desk and they're always extremely polite and cordial they do get the work done.

Noticed a very low pressure tire while at neighbor store. Stopped in and Robert filled all tires with air at no cost. Shortly later determined that a screw was in tire. Went back over and they kindly repaired my tire in 15 min flat for $9! True life savers. Thank you!

I can't say enough about the entire staff at Gary's automotive.We had a last minute problem arise with our trailer as we were leaving for vacation on Saturday . I called on Thursday and Robert found time to fit us in on Friday morning.Thank you so much!!

We have been going to Gary's for awhile now. My hubby left the key on overnight, we jumped the truck but the engine light stayed on. I took it to Gary's to get it checked and Robert charged me $40. A few weeks later, happened again, took it to another shop, they did it for free. Not the same since the owner isnt there. like before. Gary would NEVER allow cussing and foul language, but I sure heard an earful from the back that day. Dont need that.

Called prior to the appointment to get an estimate for an oil change = $40. Picked up my car, was told my car uses synthetic oil, and paid $68.95. That is the most I ve ever paid for a routine oil change. I definitely won t be going back there.

have 04 explorer, and 97 Nissan, Gary's has worked on both. Last worked on installing new clutch, etc. on Nissan. Price was reasonable and worked performed was excellent. I like going to Gary's because he shows you the old parts that he replaced.
