Luis was extremely helpful, professional and courteous! We had a tire issue and are from Tennessee. He got us right in at 7 am. He evaluated the tire and rather than trying to sell us a whole set of tires (which he could have done!), he removed the offending rock from the tread. He even already had the spare tire ready to install, but since it wasn t needed, he cheerfully put the spare back into the bracket and wished us well! If we lived here in Bartow, this would be our go-to place for tires and auto care! The honesty and true customer service went way above and beyond our expectations!

I am very disappointed with service today. I came in for an oil change. I had an appointment. I did some shopping and came back when I got a text about my appointment being canceled. I asked the associate at the desk what that was and he didn t know and we would find out together. I waited about 15 min and my baby is crying. I asked the associate again, where s why car because I didn t see it anymore. That s when he went and asked the technicians. They said they canceled it because they heard a clicking sound and didn t do the service. Mind I took the same van 2 weeks ago and didn t have an issue. What bothers me the most, is that the technicians never told us or the associate in the auto department that the car wasn t getting serviced. I waited for nothing. With a crying baby they had left the keys in the van. If someone would have stole the van , I would ve sued. We use that van for our business, full with expensive tools. I will be contacting corporate

Bartow Walmart Auto Care Team did an amazing job taking care of my auto care needs. From Jay at Check-In, Jose working on tires, Marvin checking me out, Travis explaining everything to me and anyone else I my have left off. Travis (Team Lead) has a great team to get your car/truck serviced. I went for a Black Friday deal on wheels and ended up bringing my other vehicle in for oil change due to their polite and rapid service. Thank you!Services: Tires, Oil change

I scheduled my oil change online and it was a great help (a little tricky to get to the schedule section of the app) as I was able to walk right to the desk for service. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. The service tech was super friendly and knowledgeable (even verified the oil weight and the filter were correct for the car). I'll be going back again for sure.

Don't call when finished, even when asked 3x! 3 days to mount a tire? What? Not friendly in person either. Have gone 3+ times to this location to give them plenty of chances, and won't return.

This place was the worst oil change experience I ever had. They overfilled my car with oil causing almost irreparable damage to my car. And every since they did my oil change, my service engine light won t go off. My mechanic said it s because there s literal OIL in my engineTook my car back to them after getting a new part for my car. The lady there was no help. My mechanic (WHO WORKS FOR MERCEDES) told me that every time he took out the dipstick it was filled to the top. The lady worker basically called him stupid because she didn t have the same results.Went back and asked for a manager and they basically said the same thing. They kept my mom waiting for over 3 hours so they could look at the footage and said that they did everything right. They were contradicting themselves and lying so they wouldn t have to refund me for THEIR wrongdoing. I will never go back to this auto care center ever again.Service: Oil change

The service was fantastic got 2 front tires replaced but I had to wait 3 and half hours the guy was telling me it will take 1 and half hours I would recommend appointments for car service but i don t know if it would make difference my car was in the auto service garage and then they took my car back outside the garage so that s why it took 3 and half hours.

This store take more than 2 hrs to let my wife know that they canceled the service of oil and filter change because they dont have in stock the oil filter for a 2014 LS CHEVY Spark. They called the Mulberry Store and they said they have it and when she arrived they asked her to buy the filter at O'reillys because they dont know what is the one for the Spark.

Nothing to do with their work. I called three different Walmart auto shops (+2 store operators) and not one call was answered. I called the one I wanted to go to several times. Once I let the phone ring for over 10 minutes. I double clicked the hrs to make sure they were still open. They simply don t care.

Usually do oil changes myself, but went in for one due to being on a time crunch. They did the oil change in a timely manner, and everything looked great. However when I took off my oil pressure light came on (something that had never happened before) I took it back and they diagnosed and fixed the issue (wrong/faulty filter no fault of their own). I had a repair done and it upgraded the filter to a different style and I wasn t aware of this. Thank you Daniel for the help and getting it fixed.Service: Oil change

It took forever for someone to wait on us and they said it would be an hour and a half. We went shopping and when we came back two hours later they had not even taken the car back to have the tires changed! So we ended up being there over four hours and missed our lunch appointment. They did give us a discount for the "confusion" but we were still very upset. I'm not sure how often this happens but it was very unpleasant for us.

I spoke with Q. He was so helpful. This is my favorite Walmart. I shop here often but this is the first time using the Auto Care Center... and boy did they blow my socks off as well!! Walmart Bartow, you are definitely what's right in Polk County.

Was informed by an employee that an oil change would take 30 to 45 minutes. Almost 2 hours waiting for my vehicle that has just been sitting with the hood open. I asked the employee when my vehicle would be done and the response was well I'm trying to finish it and do something else in the process. Next time I will pay more money and go else where. This place needs to get employees and train them better with customer service and doing their job in a time management manner. Absolutely ridiculous. It shouldn't take 2 hours to do an oil change. Seems like management does not care about how their auto service is being ran either.

couldn t find anyone to get some help in the auto care center, ended up asking an employee to call for help. said it would be a 4 hour wait to get a tire replaced, no thanks.

Came in here the other day to get two new tires. They told me it was about an HR to hr and half wait. I was okay with that. But 4 hrs later and still didnt get my tires put back on. I asked to speak to a manager. Waited 30 mins and the manager still hasn't shown up yet. Now today I am here same Walmart getting my oiled changed was told that it was an HR wait. I said that's fine as long as it wasn't 4 hrs now here it's been 2 hrs and still waiting. Never coming back to Walmart for auto again.

I really can only say good things. They discovered that my 2016 was leaking from the oil filter. Which in turn they did not provide service due to the leak. But instead of sending on my way they kindly added some oil for free and advised to go to dealer where i got my previous oil change and have it check. I agree this was a good call on there part and great service as well. Thank you . I will be returning after the issue is resolved. 2 up

This place is great if you're looking to make a vacation out of going to Walmart. Oil change took 3 hours, then they started on the tire balance and rotation, which they didn't start on until 30 minutes later. I canceled the tire and wheel maintenance, in hopes that I could leave, but I was wrong. It took an additional 15 minutes just to get the car back.Under no circumstance should you bring your car here.

Had tires balanced & rotatedDrove the out & heard an awefull noise coming from front tireWas afraid to drive itThey would not tow it back or advise if it was safe to driveI drove it back and they discovered that the balancing weights were not clamped downThey fixed the issue but got grease x all over my leather seatsOver all 3 trips over 2 days totaling 6 hrs

Waited almost 2 hours for a tire to be put on the rim, unacceptable. And I already had it off the car myself, all they had todo was put a tire on a rim. The lady at customer service made everything confusing for me and the mechanics, it got to the point where the mechanic had to step in just to cash me out, you could see even he was tired of her nonsense, and the line is long at all times cause of her. She was the reason my tire was delayed also, she put it in the system wrong, and didn't notify the mechanics, delayed for a hour appointment she booked for me was at 12 they didn't touch the tire till 12:45. Here's the most confusing part i watch the guy from my car take 15min to take the tire off the rim and struggled with it, and then the part I had to restrain myself from saying something was it took him another 10min to put the tire on and another 15min to balance the tire then he waited to get another guy to help him cause he couldn't get the tire off the balancer, it looked like he had no effort in his work. I just wish there was somewhere cheaper to go thats the only credit I give walmart, but you get what you paid for and I learn my lesson

Bad service & won't honor their word or value customers. I Went to the Walmart automotive tire & lube in Bartow FL several times months apart, so my first experience was not a fluke. The first time I arrived an hour before closing & they turned me away. I explained that i got off early & rushed from work in Tampa to make it an hour before closing for a oil change & 2 tires. I also explained I had 2 flat tires. It did not matter to the staff about the effort that I had to make just to get there an hour before closing. A couple months later I do the same thing I get off early against my bosses wishes because of all the work there is to be done. I called this time ahead and The gentlemen said as long as I make it before 6:30, which is 30 minutes before closing. On my drive from Tampa I call again when I was about 10 minutes away & I explained I'll go somewhere in Lakeland if they didn't have time & the gentlemen said yes I can still come as long as I make it before 630. I arrive at 6:08 they told me I was to late. I explained that I called & the gentlemen said I was good as long as I get there before 6:30. I also so then I had to egg off early & rush from time& all needed was a battery & a oil change. i explained my truck battery was bad & I was stuck & needed a jump this morning & I need to be able to go to work tomorrow in the morning. They did not care. It did not look like I would be welcome even if I came a different day or time and they didn't act like they ever want my business. There was no empathy or consideration for what the worker said or what I had to go through to make it there by the time I was told. The language & body language from both of the gentlemen was I like I did something wrong. They even said they know exactly who told me that. I prefer to do business at home in Bartow but wont pay to be treated like that. The closing time should be 6 if it's 6 not. If they don't care if I get to work how do I know they won't care while I'm trusting them when they are working on my vehicle which I depend on for transportation to work. I do not recommend service there for anyone that has an emergency, works a day shift or have a limited time that they can to bring a car for service.

Called everyone of their service centers looking for a specific tire size. Only within about 30 miles. None had what i needed. None could tell me if the other or is someone else had it.no one offered to order it for me. No one offered any assistance other than what i asked for. My opinion. Ya'll need to remove , service , from the name. Or maybe just rename it . Automotive we dont care center.

Service was absolutely terrible. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Had to wait 20-25 minutes before someone even asked me why I was there and I had to go inside just to make that happen. Waited 55 mins and my car hasn't even been pulled into the garage mean while at least two customers that came in AFTER ME HAD ALREADY HAD THEIR CARS DONE AND LEFT. Talked to the rep and she said the oil change would take 30-40 mins to do once they finally got it in . Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE. Hopefully corporate will see my review and have something done about this .

Wish I would've read the reviews before coming. Obviously they have a major time management problem.I was the first car to arrive this morning (a few mins after 8) & I have been waiting 2 hours for a battery install. I am in complete shock.I will be speaking to a manager before I leave.

I was very unhappy with the Auto Care at the Walmarts in Bartow I needed to have four tires mounted to put on my truck I already possessed the tires when I called up there to get a price the girl told me it was $16 per tire she even went and talked to a tech that was working in the shop and he said the same thing according to her when I got up there with only enough of money to mount the tires for $16 a piece then I found out that they wanted $25 a piece did not count balancing just like all of the other Walmarts the only thing that the manager over the auto area could tell me is this is a good training thing for our people out in the automotive did not act like they cared either way of what I was told on the phone and then told in person anyone who was to shop bear would be very disappointed just as I was I asked to speak to the manager named Jerry instead they sent me the manager over the automotive and all he could tell me is that I'm sorry sir but this is a good training thing for our people out there did not act like you really cared about whether or not I was upset or whether or not I have been told two different stories did not even be willing to work with me anywhere in between I'm sure anyone who came there for their vehicle to be worked on and the same thing be told to them they would be very very disappointed too
