Great place to have all your auto repair needs done!!! Joe is honest and fair, won't throw parts at it like other places. They will diagnose and fix the problem right the first time, and stand behind the work!!! Top notch, highly recommend!!!

Main Street Auto in Bartow, Florida is the only place to take your vehicle(s) for repair or maintenance. When I moved to Bartow in 2019, I asked several folks in our church, Give me a good, honest mechanic I can trust. Everyone said Joe Sullin s and his crew at Main Street Auto. They will treat you right because they will treat you like family. If it needs fixed, Joe will tell you. If it can wait or if it is something you need to prepare to repair, Joe will let you know! If you can Main Syreet Auto, congratulations! You just found a good, honest mechanic!

Joe and his guys are great. He took care of my car issue and did not charge me for things I did not need. I don t take my cars to anybody but Joe. He is honest and that s rare these days.

Joe was great. He got my car in fast, fixed the issue, and charged a reasonable price. He came recommended to me by two different people, and I'm glad I chose to take my vehicle to him. It's nice to have a local place that does a good job.

I ve been here twice in the last year with different vehicles. Joe has worked fast to diagnose the problem, communicate the options to me, and get me out the door. Every shop uses the same book , you just have to trust your being told the truth about the repairs needed. Main Street has gained my trust in that regard; they are my go-to for auto work.

I've been using them for a few years now and they're great. The owner always takes care of me and gets this done quickly. They've replaced vent actuators, v windows and tires for me along with other repairs. Always a fair price and I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me.

Joe has been taking care of my VW Jettas for the past 6 years or so! I always recommend him to friends and family!His prices are fair and I trust his work. Check engine light came on my Volvo so I tried finding out what was causing it at 2 other mechanic shops and got different answers that didn t make sense for that specific error code. Looked for another mechanic opinion and not many want to work on Volvos. I found Main Street on google with great reviews who said they d take a look. They found a vacuum leak within an hour and fixed it for a great price. Check Engine Light is now off. It s hard to find a reliable,trustworthy mechanic nowadays, but I ve finally found one. I ll be going to Main Street from now on. Thank you.

Joe is one of a kind. That is pretty much the only way to describe the above and beyond assistance my wife and I received. Our first experience was an emergency, we were made to feel at ease and confident that our car was in the right hands. Joe and his team had me up and running and left my pockets feeling great. On 1/16/2018 I had another emergency and this happened after shop hours. My car was running to rough to drive so I had my car towed to Main Street Auto &Tires. This with the only intention if dropping it off for Joe to have a look at it the next day. To my surprise Joe was working on a project and watched as my car was dropped off on his lot. He didn't kick me out he took a look at my car, diagnosed the problem in a flash and literally went to grab the coil from the auto store and replaced my bad part in about half an hour. Thirty minutes to diagnose and repair. Joe again made us feel like family friends. If you're tired of visiting strangers to have your car repaired, come to Main Street Auto & Tires, it feels a lot like Home.

It is very hard to find an honest, knowledgeable and trustworthy auto mechanic. And after moving to Bartow only a few months back, I was in need of some repair work on my 2007 Lexus ES 350. It was approaching 200,000 miles, and I needed it to keep on rolling baby! I called 5 different shops, and after speaking with Joe (owner at Main St Auto), he told me to write down all of the stuff wrong with the car, and he'll take a look at it. I had put off maintenance for quite a while so the list was LONG. The Main St Auto team looked over my car and consulted with me on all of the problems. I agreed on what needed to be done first, and they went to work. The major issue was a stability issue causing my ride to be very choppy. After the repair, Joe and I hopped in my ride and we drove around and talked about cars. The ride was smooth and I learned a lot I didn't know. From my experience, Joe is a mechanic's mechanic. He works on cars at his shop and then goes home and works on his own rides. He got the job done for a decent price, and I will go back in the future.

A friend told me about Main Street Auto & Tire because I was having problems with my Ford F150 skipping & missing while driving down the road. I took it to the dealership & they said it would cost $300 or $400 hundred dollars "IF" they didn't break off any sparkplugs removing them! They also said that this was a HUGE problem for the F150 trucks around that year an if they broke a plug off it would cost $1,000 DOLLARS PER SIDE! Well I don't have that kind of money SO reluctantly I continued to drive it until I found out about Joe at Main Street Auto & Tire.This is one honest & stand up guy! He fixed my truck an it hasn't ran this good in years! I am in his debt because it only cost me about ONE THIRD of what the dealership wanted, even though plugs broke off during the repair!I will take a few hundred dollars for a repair over a few thousand ANY TIME!Thank you guys! I'll be back to get my wife's AC fixed in her Dodge.The little people out here like me appreciate what you do for us!God bless....

I was living in a shelter and was given a jeep. Jeep would not stay running. I had no money, I just tagged and insured the vehicle. I reached out to you, never met you, never been to your shop, couldn't even drive the jeep five streets up to your shop. You were my sun in my raining sky, not only did you come tow her to you, you fixed her on a arraignment. You are amazing and an awesome man and wonderful mechanic. I tell everyone how you helped me. Without my vehicle my family and me would have had a harder time in that shelter. BEST SHOP EVER!

Very reliable service! Only place I'll use for my car. Had issue with another shop telling me I needed a new engine. Joe looked it over found a broken fan and fixed it for a few hundred. Highly recommend!

Definitely not a dealership! They sell you what you need and only that. No upsell bs and honest pricing. Great guys in the shop. Have taken my grandmas car hear a few times! Joe is awesome

My '04 Chevy broke down after long boston,ma to bartow,fl trip..being new to area, main St.auto in bartow was highly recommended by several for honest, reasonable, quality work. I found them to be that and much more..very friendly and understanding Joe the owner quickly diagnosed my problem, and the repairs were done quickly, He even drove me to my motel.and offered to pick me up when work completed ...the price for wires,plugs, and valve cover gasket was much better than I imagined...car running great, main St auto in bartow, fl was excellent. Thanks

Fantastic experience with Main Street Auto & Tire!! They saved the day when I had vehicle troubles on my way through town! Joe and Kevin didn't quit until my vehicle was running properly again and I was able to continue ontrip within hours of me just dropping in.

Coworker and I did not have great experiences with these guys, and I think the 5 star google rating is misleading so I'm posting this here. I had them replace my brake pads and they cut the brake line. Within a couple days i could no longer brake and had these guys pick my car up from work. When I arrived back at the shop, I realized the brake line leaked fluid all over my rim and destroyed the finish. I asked them about this and they just said sorry there was nothing they could do. Neither cutting my brake line or destroying the rim warranted any discount or future support.Much more minor story- my coworker got an estimate from them for major maintenance was hundreds higher than many other shops. So make sure you get an estimate and compare if you decide to go here.
