Took the 2016 JKU there after I installed an entire lift. They dialed everything in and gave me complete peace of mind that I can drive this thing hard. The 2 gentleman at the front were awesome! They answered all my questions, multiple times and were just super pleasant to talk to.

I've had my 2003 Sahara serviced with this business for over five years now.I have never in my life, met anyone with more knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism then Melvin Petiet (owner). It's such a pleasure to deal with such competent personnel (Ron Cowan).Give them a call for all you Jeep needs. You won't be disappointed!

Ryan at Happy Trails 4x4 did an excellent job quoting, communicating, and installing a much needed Back Up camera on our 2012 Wangler. The finished job looked like the rear camera and visual display were factory installed! Happy Trails 4x4 know Jeeps inside and out, and it was worth the drive from Nocatee to get the job done right.

The people at this shop are beyond amazing. The front office staff is very helpful. They are very knowledgeable about Jeeps. Not pushy by any means. They work with you to find the best deal and best products for your needs. The folks in the shop work on your vehicle as it was their own. Their craftsmanship in the shop area is second to none. Very clean installs. I will be back and am so happy to have found them!

Have used Happy Trails and number of times for having work/upgrades done on my 2019 JL Wrangler. Outstanding staff (Ryan manager), Molly and Melvin (owners), Jake the mechanic who usually works on my Jeep. The rest of the HT crew all excellent. All they work on is Jeeps and they know them inside and out. All years and models. The components they use (lift kits, wheels, lights, tires, shocks, etc.) are all from top tier "Made in the USA" manufacturers. I recently used another local 4x4 shop because it was closer to my home but did not have a good experience. It's well worth making the drive from St. Augustine to Jax Beach to have the crew at Happy Trails work on your Jeep. Knowing that it will be done right the first time.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I have spent over $10,000 with this company. Both times I went for service here when I returned there were strange noises coming from the front end. I had to bring it back for the mounting bracket s to be tightened for the front axle. Also one of the times when I picked it up it was very hard for me to shift and I had to return because of the problem. Come to find out they installed the transmission linkage incorrectly. Also the retainer that holds the rubber boot around the shifter was broken once I pick the vehicle up. The first time I went in for service I had them upgrade the entire rear end which was over $8000. So I definitely would not say that they are reasonably price. Their labor was extremely high for the job. I would not have even written this review but when I called back the day after picking up my jeep to explain to them that I can hear metal on metal when I go over even the smallest little bump they wanted to charge me to bring the vehicle back in after I just paid them over 2000 . Obviously when they replace the front axle something did not get tightened down correctly similar to what happen with the first time it was serviced. I like the people here and their shop seems like it is well organized but the only two times that I have used them there was an issue and both times they wanted me to pay them to fix their mistake. If they will reconcile the situation and tighten up whatever bolt that has not been tightened correctly I will update the review.

I worked with Ryan @ Happy Trails to spec out my lift, and he was great. He provided options and advice to meet my particular need, and I love the result. My '13 JKUR - with a leveling kit and 33s - needed new shocks. I decided to do it the right way and get a shock/spring kit. The Jeep with a new AEV dual-sport 2.5" lift drives so much better than it did, and in all honesty better than stock. I got almost 2 inches of additional height, and the old girl looks like a gymnast now. She's ready to hit the rock trails in Virgina once again.Great communication from Happy Trails. Great process. Overall great experience. Highly recommend. Oh, and don't cheap-out on your lift. Your jeep deserves better.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The team at Happy Trails do amazing work! Can't recommend them highly enough. They installed a 2.5 inch lift on my JKU, wheels and tires and a heavy duty tire carrier. Flawless work all around, and now the jeep rides better than ever! Ryan and Christian especially were fantastic throughout - from my initial visit to talk options, through providing great advice on a lift package, wheel selection and answering my many questions. I'll definitely be back to have any future mods and work done with them - super knowledgeable, and highly professional. Thank you so much, Happy Trails!!!

Happy Trails is the place if want your Jeep to look great. They work with me even after I asked a million questions and did a lot research. They are the Jeep experts. Whether someone who wants to do hardcore wheeling or like me someone who wants to lite off-road but great looking Jeep. They take care of everybody. Molly, Lindsey and the whole staff are the best!

I m very happy with the results for my jeep. I wanted to lift my jeep without breaking the bank, so Lindsey was able to put together a quote that gave me the lift height I wanted for an affordable price. A day after dropping off my jeep I picked it up and was very pleased! The jeep rides great and looks better than ever. I will be going back for new tires in the near future and I recommend happy trails to anyone who wants to make jeep modifications and have them done professionally. Coming from someone who doesn t know much about working on cars, it was nice handing over my jeep to happy trails and having them do such great work in such a short amount of time. Thanks happy trails!

5 Stars all the way! Took my wife's 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in to have them fix a bad death wobble issue. I tried everything on my own I could. I showed up without an appointment and even with a full book of work they squeezed it in. It took less time than I was expecting. The price was more than reasonable. The parts and labor prices were so good I decided to go ahead and order some new bumpers for her Jeep and get some work done on my son's Jeep.

Great customer service! Happy Trails built up my 2015 JKU. the office staff was quick to answer any questions I had. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the build, and the workmanship put in by the shop staff was outstanding.

Overall they do know Jeeps and can help make great upgrade recommendations. They are a bit slow to reply though and while they did say they would price match online, after part was ordered they said they couldn't because it was to much of a discount.Would still purchase Jeep parts from them though.

Came into happy trails knowing exactly what I wanted to have done to my jeep. Within a week all the parts were delivered and ready to be installed. They had the jeep for 3 days while they installed a lift kit, wheels, tires, and axle gussets. Couldn't have been more pleased with the ways things turned out. The spare tire wheel was damaged while they were mounting it and they were quick to order a new wheel, have it the next day, and hold on to it until I was able to come back. Will definitely be coming back to Happy Trails 4x4 for all of my future jeep needs.

This is the BEST Jeep place I've ever been to! This is the first 4x4 shop I've been to that doesn't try to sell you something. As a matter-of-fact, they detailed what I would need to do exactly what I want to do to my Jeep and even told me what places to search for on the Internet to find deals! AMAZING service! They then told me I could do it myself or they can help at any point in my build! I was shocked!! Who does this in today's society? Well, obviously, they do! I'm a lifelong fan and client!!

From the customer service, friendly knowledgeable staff to the quality workmanship, Happy Trails is top notch. I recently purchased an older Jeep and it is also my first Jeep. I love the Jeep and Happy Trails makes it even more exciting and fun owning it...and now it is reliable too. I had a lot done on my Jeep and they kept me informed and updated every step of the way. They also called when there was a price increase from the estimate it was only about $30 more but they still called to let me know. The bad thing about Happy Trails is I love to go there to look at all of the other Jeeps and to get ideas I am afraid this is going to get costly. LOL If you are not happy with a service company like Happy Trails 4x4, you just can t be happy and probably have no business owning a Jeep anyway they are for fun, happy people. Thanks Happy Trails!!!

The group at Happy Trails 4x4 made my dreams come true yesterday. I picked up my 2004 TJ after 2 weeks of impatiently waiting to see how wonderful (and big) they made it become. After 35x12.5 tires and a 3.5 inch lift, it looks so bad ass. Christian helped us with the design and parts, and we couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable and friendly sales associate. I will never bring my jeep to anywhere else. You can tell they love what they do and are truly passionate about leading others in their envisioned direction.

Definitely the place to go for Jeep and 4x4 needs. Did the build on my 95 YJ and engine swapped a 5.0l Coyote which had never been done before. Installation looks factory, and they've been excellent with any issues.

Christian at Happy Trails 4x4 was very knowledgeable and helpful with the mods I was considering for my 14 2dr JK. The team at Happy Trails completed a 2.5 AEV lift, 35 tire and rim, rear bumper with integrated carrier and third brake light install. The work looks exceptional and the pricing was very fair. Christian took extra time to ensure I was happy with the completed work. I will be taking my rig back to them for additional mods and would have no issue recommending them to friends, family or anyone else for that matter.

Had my Jeep lifted by Extreme Truck Stuff. Looked really good, but steering was really bad (crazy sensitive and dangerous).Took Jeep to Happy Trails and they corrected the issue quickly and for under $200.Bottom line, don't take a Jeep to a Truck store.
