Amazing shop, very knowledgeable and professional owner and staff. Highly recommend Brubaker for performance needs. I heard about them from friends, and another builder highly recommended them, and could not be more happy with the work done AND the communication throughout. Most recently did an engine build in a cts v for me and it turned out amazing! They truly love what they do and it shows! Josh knows his stuff! Had a serious issue. The final price came in far less than quoted. I have struggled to find someone to trust with my Camaro. I found that "someone" with Josh and the team at B.P.I.!

Josh and his team are the best in the business!! Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Brubaker Performance is the only shop that I trust with doing anything to my truck! His team completed a AFM delete, cam swap, long tube install, transmission cooler and installed a new converter. All work was done quickly and the installs were completed professionally. The addition of the new dyno made the installs and tuning seamless! THE GO TO GM PERFORMANCE SHOP!!!Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Auto engine tuning

Just wanted to thank Josh Brubaker and his team over at Brubaker Performance for a job well done. I had my C5 Corvettes harmonic balancer and related parts replaced and was very happy with the results. Josh and his team set up an appointment for me, inspected the car and did the repairs in 2 days. Josh personally spent some explaining the procedure and completed the repair quickly. What a great experience! Josh definitely knows his stuff. I took the Chevelle to Josh to figure out an oil leak and starter issues. Within the day I had my answers and at very reasonable prices. Rebuild the carb, new tires and a tune up. It was done fast, with great customer service, and best of all it was done with care. I highly recommend Josh and team. Thanks again for all the hard work. The Brubaker team does amazing work. They were able to give me great advice on part selection for an LSA build and Eric installed everything and left the car looking like it came out of the factory that way. Easily the best results I've ever had with a shop with any vehicle. You kidding?? Brubaker Performance the only Shop I trust I promise you !!!! that you will be happy. He put my new clutch n flywheel in my car a year ago andnI drive this car like its supposed to be and zero problems. Best shop ever

Searched online for quite a while for a reputable GM performance shop in Jacksonville, FL and all signs pointed to Brubaker Performance. Service scheduling was a breeze, I just sent them an email with what I wanted and Josh quickly sent back a quote. Communication was top notch and when I dropped off the car I knew it was in good hands. Highly Recommend and will be a repeat customer. Hands down the best shop in Jax! Everyone I've ever come in contact with at BPI has been nothing less than awesome to deal with. There isn't a shop anywhere else that I 'd trust more with our vehicles. Professional, knowledgeable, dependable, on time and honest. Brubaker came as a recommendation and I couldn t be happier with the entire experience. I did have to wait 5 weeks due to the waitlist, but they explain why the wait is what it is and I m beyond happy I stuck it out. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!Josh and his crew did an AMAZING JOB!! Told me what my car needed, and set up an appointment a few weeks later. Went through the car with a fine tooth comb and fixed any issues that they found along the way. The car was completed that week and had the tuner set up to complete the process. I get compliments on how smooth that car sounds all the time. If I had any questions they had the answers. Any project I have in the future will get worked on by Brubaker performance!

I dropped off my car to have some work done. I had a build sheet of what was completed at another location. They called me immediately after dropping off my car to advise that the clutch I had paid for was not installed and worked with me on understanding what I need to do for the goals in mind. I truly appreciate the level of honestly, professional, and respect that was displayed. I will be coming back and I recommend all to use Brubaker.

This is by far the best shop I have had the pleasure of taking my car to in Jacksonville and in my life. Josh is extremely professional, communicates with you, and doesn't take longer than needed or bs you. My car was in and out of the shop both times within 24 hours of dropping it off and I feel they went above and beyond what my expectations were. I highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. I went to Brubaker Performance to meet the owner/head mechanic Josh Brubaker. I got nothing but positive vibes and I am 15 years old I just got my permit so my dad just gave me his 1991 camaro rs and I ve had trouble with mechanics before. I took my vehicle to josh and in less than 7 hours he diagnosed and fixed the main parts of my car. I went to one place they said they couldn t find a piece Josh found it immediately. He test drove my car for diagnostics and then after he had worked on it, very impressed. I will bring my car to Josh as of here on out 10/10 great mechanic, very knowledgeable, great energy and very personable. Great experience.

I ve only ever reached out to them for information but the owner answered my email query about a supercharger system and offered his advice for a vehicle build in a very timely manner. When it s time to have work done this is the shop I ll use. Call me old fashioned but I can appreciate a human being communicating with me in this age of AI and auto responses.

Josh and Rob took great care with my car. Brought it in for a gear change and to have axle tubes welded. They found an issue, contacted me Immediately and had it fixed in no time. The cars never felt better!Honest, great pricing and some of the best work in Jacksonville. I always try to do my own work but have absolutely no issues letting them work on my car. Will be back for more upgrades soon!

Brubaker did a fantastic job on our truck. The 1970 F250 had some serious issues ranging from a cracked block to numerous fluid leaks. They took care of the engine build as well as power steering. These folks went above and beyond and we hope if we slap some LS stickers on her, they ll let us return for some other work in the future.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRUBAKER PERFORMANCE INC.Josh was exceptional! Josh diagnosed my issue on my 2004 Corvette Z06. I took it in due to I was hearing some metal noise while driving. Josh found what was causing the noises and fixed them. Josh, also noticed the brake lines were rubbing against the tires. Josh is a hero finding that critical issue and brought it to my attention and advised me what was needed for the fix. Thank you so much Josh!

An absolute incredible shop, and great owner. Josh saved me from probably the most expensive car repair bill I ever had. George Moore Chevrolet said my camaro needed a new engine with a price tag of 9,850. Had my car towed here for a second opinion and was told would be looked at tomorrow, Josh called me within 2 hours and had found the issue to be a broken valve spring, and had it replaced, tested and ready within 2 hours for less than 350. Would recommend for anyone with a GM car. Don t make the mistake I made to go to a dealership because you felt like you were out of options. Cannot thank Josh and the crew more!

I am very pleased with this business! Josh and his staff did an awesome job on building my car. I notified him a few days prior that I had an event coming up and the next few days he got the car in and they knocked it out of the park. He always kept me informed on if anything changed or if he recommended something. Great business and I will recommend them to anyone.

Josh has taken care of my GTO as well as all my other vehicles for years. He and his team do great work and he is thorough, fair and honest. He has upgraded my suspension, intake, cam and exhaust and I will be back in the winter for heads. My car is night and day from when we started and I am happy to have someone who I can trust with my baby. These guys are professional, honest, reasonable, and above all, know performance and muscle cars! I took my 2001 Corvette in to replace the oil pressure sensor sending unit (not an easy sensor to get to...requires removing the intake manifold and fuel rails). They started working on car immediately as scheduled and finished the job in less than the estimated time. Rob, the technician that did the repair knew the car inside and out and was willing to discuss other issues with the car and didJosh the owner. Can t speak on the actual mechanical work, but the operation is seriously lacking.. waited 2 weeks for an appointment. Now this is two weeks after the initial call where I explained it was a simple gear swap a swap on an 8.8 real end.. nothing fancy. Two weeks go by and I get the call to set up a time to come in, really excited. Then I m told they have to keep the car and then order the parts.. if it s my parts, no warranty on work, even if they are sealed in oem dealer packaging. But if they order it ( with a 20% mark up) then they warranty the work. Ok.. fine I ll let them order it. But you have to leave the car.. so parts could take a day 2 days, a week who knows. So unless you have a spare car, or this is just a hobby car, then have a plan when dealing with them. They never told me this ahead of time. And I can t go without a car for more than two days. Didn t offer any alternatives like coming in and paying for the parts ahead of time so they can order them and then bring in the car nope just a sorry, it s our way or nothing.. seemed like it was more of an annoyance to the lady on the phone. She couldn t give a *** either way.

I have never witnessed true professionalism, outstanding customer service, and an overall superior quality of work and satisfaction at any repair facility before taking my pontiac firebird to Brubaker Perfomance. Josh is a true professional and i would never take my car anywhere else for any type of service. Josh the Owner was Great ! Using Hp tuner he deactivated Afm/DOD on my 2013 Caddilac Escalade, I highly recommend having Josh do this to any GM vehicle with afm/DOD before it becomes a big problem. I plan future performance upgrades and will have Brubaker Performance tune the truck as needed.

Very helpful with an impressive level of knowledge on automotive repair, and very reasonably priced. I brought in my 2002 Corvette thinking it would need a wheel bearing replaced, about an hour later i got a call from Josh telling me the wheel bearing was fine and what was causing the rubbing noise i was hearing. After correcting not only what was rubbing he then proceeded to fix anything else that even had a possibility of causing the noise, and at a fraction of the cost of what i thought the issue was initially. Needless to say, i will be customer of BPI for life.Service: General repairs & maintenance
