Great last minute oil change, my rig was too big for the bay, so they did the oil change in the parking lot. Also tuned up a couple little areas on my RV while I waited.Honest and affordable!!

This is the local shop you are searching for. They do fantastic work and are very knowledgable and honest. The shop owner John, is a legend and I cant say enough nice things about him. Give them a shot you wont be disappointed!

Brought my 1970 Pontiac LeMans in for some work on the transmission, air conditioner, rear suspension bushings and front sway bar bushings. Around $1,200 and they did a great job. Came back a few weeks later and needed freon top up, not their fault, and he was kind enough to throw some in for me for around $40.

Amazing. Went in about 9am for an oil change (no appointment) and was out by 935. A little confusing as there are 3 entrance doors around the facility but was greeted immediately and treated very nicely by Mark/Mike (cant remember). Very friendly and talkative and Will definitive urge you to get more things replaced but thats everywhere, and only mentions things that are obviously in bad condition. No scams here (I think). Free coffee. Dont let the shabby appearance deter you from coming! Nothing fancy but the attitude/environment here is great. $69 for full synthetic. $34 for regular. Air filter replacement $19.99.

Brought my dangerously worn out rear wheel bearing to Mr. John and he was able to fix the rusted together part in a day and fixed the old rear speed sensor too. So kind and knowledgeable. Will recommend him to everyone I know with a car!

Fast and friendly service. Came here for an oil change and tire rotation. Price was good with none of the annoying upselling that some of those national brands do. This place is old school so don't expect a cappuccino machine while you wait but totally worth it for the price and service.

Rude old man who will try to scam you especially if your military. He will quote you like $1000 for a job that some place in south side will do for $300.

Went in with a minor issue and was quoted $135 for a diagnostic test (wasn t necessary for what we needed done) and then was mouthed off by whoever answered the phone. I was very polite and asked for a price estimate before getting any work done and was given attitude and short responses. I finally told them not to even touch the car, we would come and get it to go somewhere else AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME. Terrible service and not very pleasant to work with overall.Service: Auto maintenance

I didn't even pay a physical visit to ABC's facility but John, the owner, gave me the exceptional service of good-hearted advice to minimize my expenditure by starting in the proper order of my vehicle's problem. I called under the impression I needed a starter and potentially a battery. My impression would have been a more fruitful reward to the business of ABC if reciprocated with labor and two parts, but John advised that I begin with the battery on my own if I could. John's advice saved me a trip and a higher tab. Now I'll be sure to pay visit when I actually need to!

Recently got some work done here, they were awesome! They did a great job, great prices and offer military discount. The owner was super nice and had a nice conversation while I was waiting for my car to be done. He gave me some background on his life and how he s been working on cars since he was 8 and has owned the shop for over 20 years! Definitely will only be coming here for my car needs!

John was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend this place to anyone for all repairs. I took my truck in for a quick rear differential diagnostic and John checked out the entire under carriage of the vehicle, noticing 2 additional issues I have been having and could not figure out (i like to do my own repairs). A major oil leak I was experiencing for years I thought was going to be an expensive fix, turned out to be an easy gasket replacement. Further, some roughness coming from the rear when I would hit bumps in the road John noticed on the test drive. He located the source of the problem, the rear shackles were not the right size. Another easy fix for him. The repairs were quick and they only had the vehicle for a couple hours. Not bad at all for repairs that were not planned at the beginning. I owe him majorly and the pricing was much cheaper than expected, with a Military discount. And let's not forget the tire plug he hooked me up with, when a nail was discovered in the tire. This will be my new go to place and HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, they know their stuff!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Fast, terrific service. Had all 4 brake rotors and pads replaced. Took 2 hours with a minor snafu, and they did a great job, plus 5% military/first responder discount. My car will need more stuff done in the future, and I'll definitely come back to them. If you work on NavSta Mayport, they're worth going to, especially if you have your own parts you want installed (like Bosch) rather than generic stuff.

A very convenient place to get my car serviced. I brought my Honda in to get the brakes serviced and had it back on 2 hours. The owner John is very professional and timely in his work. Called me as soon as the job was done and was charged a fair price. Will definitely be coming here when my car needs future services.

Stopped in for an oil change. I was in and out very quickly and the owner was extremely friendly. I will definitely return for service, repairs and oil changes. The price was very reasonable for my Toyota Tundra which uses 8 quarts of fully synthetic oil approx. $100. I really liked that they did not try to up sell me on unneeded stuff like air filters, wiper blades etc. I believe they offer oil change discounts on Wednesday as well. This full service shop can do work on brakes, engines, A/C repair and pretty much anything else. I just moved to the area so I was nervous to use a business I knew nothing about but I am extremely happy I chose them.

John and his small staff did a great job on my tahoe front differential rebuild and new exhaust system.Pros- fantastic communicationSociable and friendly business practiceDetail oriented. Identified a few minor issues that while I was aware of them prior, other shops had overlooked.Cons- no fault of his own but his parts supplier sent the wrong parts delaying my repair by a few days. Not his companies faultSmall staff- repairs might take a small bit longer than other shops but the proof is in the pudding. My front axle came out of his shop looking bright and clean like a new unit.Overall he will be my go to shop for repairs for the future. His shop is worth the time and money and his prices are lower than the other shops in the area. Thanks John!

Been coming to this place for years. Good service, run by good folks. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a bit on the run down side. That being said, they are freshening the place up and continuing with that should also help to drive more business to them.I always feel like they're honest with me and treat me right. That's half the battle with auto places, so I do appreciate them!

Today I walked in for an oil change, tire rotation and power steering belt issue. This shop took me in right away and provided great service. After telling him I was preparing for a road trip back home to Miami, he was thoughtful and diligent enough to fill up my spare tire. Great place.

They were very friendly. I felt safe dropping my car off to them. They fixed my car in a very timely manner for me, especially in this heat! He even knocked a little bit off the price for me. Great guys and I'll be coming back!

John hooked me up! I was having a problem with my skip shift solenoid and had some headers I wanted to install, he got everything perfect in a timely manner and stayed late to make sure I could pick up my car, due to my long work schedule. On top of all that he gave me a huge military discount. Definitely going back here for all my performance needs. Thank you!

Dropped my car off for A/C repair. Got a call less than an hour later with outrageous prices. When I told I don't want the work I get told it's $115 to get my car back. Nothing is free I get it but $115 and you didn't do anything but call about some parts. Obviously I'm upset and this man goes to cussing and foul language. I wouldn't go here if I were you, they will rip you off. I got estimates on work I didn't ask for the sum of $2000, I got my ac repair for $500, this guy is a scam artist!

This is the only mechanic I will go to in Jacksonville. He is very punctual and professional. Repairs are always quick and on time. John has great work ethic and is very honest with repairs. A rare find these days when an owner of the establishment is willing to not only educate you on what might be going on with your vehicle, but also shoot you straight with pricing. John took the time to break down the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment plan and had me back on the road the same day. I highly recommend you support the last of a dying breed in regards to a total knowledge mechanic, who has been helping the locals for years. Thanks John for your honesty and service provided!

This place is awesome. Had a small incident on the highway where I shattered my driver side rear view mirror. They gave me a 2 day turnaround and cost half the price of my other estimates. Honest and straightforward I had a great experience. Very professional and friendly.

We had an emergency situation with our car and even though it was late in the day, John and his crew still took a look at it and gave us an estimate the same day. We got the car back the next afternoon and runs as good as new! Don't let the looks of this shop deceive you, they do a great job and are very friendly! Thanks ABC Transmission!

I genuinely trust this place and know they'll take care of me and my car. Whenever I need something checked out, John will go for a ride with me, and he ALWAYS knows what the problem is without even doing anything. Of course, he still checks it out to make sure and everytime, he was correct. He thoroughly explains to me what the issue is, and I try to remember and keep the knowledge in my head. A great place to go, they're all very friendly, won't try and swindle you, and they put 100% effort in trying to help. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing! John is such a sweetheart and could immediately attend to the issue our car had, it ended up only taking an hour or so and was at least a $100 cheaper than I had ever spent anywhere else. I strongly recommend it!

I went in to get my wheel bearing and hub done come to find out I needed more. These guys let me know and didnt charge me a arm and a leg to do it. And not only that they treated my car as if it was one of their own. They gave it back to me in a way better condition than I brought it in. They are definitely a man of their word. Couldn't be more happier. I definitely recommend you bring it here..
