The Tech was professional and didn't try to sell me anything extra. He serviced the sliding glass door and it slides better. It was costly, but I attribute that to the current awful economy. The weight of the thick glass keeps it from sliding top notch. I recommend this glass company.

Stopped in at Schmidt Glass Company a few days ago for a windshield seal repair. Carlin got me right in and fixed it while I waited. I highly recommend for all your glass needs.

They are absolutely amazing! My windshield was broke and I called and they were extremely fast and efficient. They even went in on their day off to do it for me. The price was more than reasonable, a company that doesn't try to take advantage of you when they know you have to have the product . They have impressed me beyond words. Then last night after getting gas and washing my windshield I turned my wipers on that have only had one working for so long and to my surprise both wipers worked. I about cried I was so touched that they fixed my wiper and I hadn't even told them it didn't work. They just didn't it out of the kindness of their heart. I will recommend Desoto Glass & Mirror to everyone I know. Even in Charlotte County & Sarasota County because it's worth the drive without question!!! Thank you!

Very friendly and professional. Even though their advertising says auto glass, they do cut glass for the home. What a life saver!!!! Would have had to drive to Port Charlotte if not for them!!!! Gave me just the right cut, made sure I was careful with the glass that I didn't cut myself or break the glass. Will tell friends and family about them and use them again if I need to!!!!

Innstalled a windshield in my car, did a terrible job doing so in turn looks unfinished and like they rushed. Said they were going to order replacement parts and several months later still never heard from them. In addition it rained the other day went to use my windshield washer took the car to Arcadia Chevrolet and they discovered that Desoto glass was in a super hurry cause they left the washer disconnected. Costing me a service appointment. I know there is not much of a choice in Arcadia but take your time and go someplace else. Its not worth it to let Desoto Glass do it.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Had my car in for a broken windshield and got it returned with a broken door handle. While dropping off I informed them to not open my passenger window because it was off the track and was also returned with the track at the bottom as someone opened it anyways and the window fell as soon as I hit a bump. Was also told that the job would have a warrenty for leakage over the phone and after completion was told that they would not stand behind their work if it leaked because a previous person (Ford's repair shop) had fixed a leak prior. Some of the staff was nice but whoever the man was that I spoke to talked down at me in a very arrogant tone I found unnecessary. Overall the work was done but do not think I'll be revisiting.

I had a mishap with a rock going through the back window of my wife's Dodge Dakota. I called Desoto Glass and Mirror the next morning and they had to order a new one. The following day it was replaced. You couldn't ask for better service and quality work.

Brought our broken mirror there to get the mirror fixed that had broken but with them not hopeful that they could get it fix do to the cardboard being broke and not must to glue it to I'd gotta say they did excellent work what a great job they did very pleased with their work and the price.
