This company sent a small rollback to pick up a my 2019 3500 Mercedes Benz Sprinter that was given specific instructions "NOT TO START VEHICLE"!! The vacumme seal went bad and had NO OIL in it!! The driver got in my van and immediately started it as we both heard metal clanking around until I yelled at him to shut it off!! I said don't you have notes NOT TO START? He then looked at his phone and read the notes after possibly damaging it beyond repair! Then they decided to send out a truck with a hoist to pick up my 170" wheel base! I told him absolutely not! Element told me they set up for a morning pick up at 7:00am with a rollback that could fit my van! This company hooked up and took it anyway knowing that if they did they would get the tow!!

WORST TOW TRUCK EXPERIENCE EVER! Waited for over 3 hours for a truck. Never called with an update on arrival. When we finally got through to a person, they gave us an excuse for the delay. When the driver arrived, he gave a different excuse and didn t even bother to apologize. This is unacceptable and not even what I would call service . It s a joke and an insult to anyone who actually needs help. Hopefully you call SOMEONE ELSE next time you need a tow.

Best dam shop around...after someone sabotaged my truck he had me back on the road in no time. Honest, Reliable and him and his wife are just truly good peopleI just love them...I won't take my truck to anyone but him

Great tow company and a good body shop. My car was totalled and they towed it. Retrieving everything from it and releasing it to insurance was very quick and easy, but I've also had tire changes there. Darrell went above and beyond for my father who is having health issues. He is a nice fellow with a heart. My father who is elderly said that " Darrell is the best mechanic that I have ever known". Darrel fixed a large issue on my father's SUV and has also worked on my father's smaller vehicle. Both run swimmingly well now.

The owners and all the employees that I had any interactions with were polite and willing to work with me on getting my sons wrecked vehicle tow bill resolved. Family like people. Would highly recommend from my personal experience.

This place is wonderful! Hubby hit something on the highway which put a crack in the oil pan. We are 1100 miles from home and knew Noone so took a leap of faith in them. They took our car right in, diagnosed the problem, ordered parts gave us an estimate of costs. Upon further investigation they found an issue with a mount and called us to verify if we wanted them to repair it also. Great work, by honest people. They knew we were in a bind and could have charged us an arm and a leg but they didn't. Great work at a great price. Should we need anything else done before we head north in 2 months we'll for sure contact Darrells.

A rare honest shop with the best people. A truly gem with professionals that are friendly and helpful. Instead being a pain, to go to Darrell s is actually a pleasure. It all started when I got a quote and when I paid for the service it was actually cheaper! I have my 3 cars being maintained by them now. I am referring Darrell to all my friends in Sarasota that need non-emergency repairs because to take the drive is worth it.

Really good people. Despite the fact that I've had a couple vehicles towed here I can say they are a really solid good people. Took care of me even though I was very bent out of shape lol!

Absolutely 5 stars! I was in a real pickle on a Monday morning with a sick car. Darrell was typically swamped but still somehow managed to repair my car, for a reasonable price and have it ready for me that same day! All the while he kept me informed and was very friendly and professional. Thanks Darrell!Highly recommended

Do not use this company, they will give you false expectation and unreliable.I first called this company to pickup my running vehicle at 11am. They assured me this is no problem it would be picked up by 2pm and to me right after. I m extremely reasonable and happy to pay anyone to help me. This tow company was the first to poo up in Arcadia FL when searched but many others were available. At 4:30 my vehicle still did Not arrive and i called to follow up. The response form the owners was sorry I forgot to call you. I can t pick up your car today. We are not valued customers, this company works for the city, call anyone but them. The promises they give your are lies !

Terrible, horrible, and scary service. Was broke down on the side of the road; called Darrell and never got a call back;neither did he send any one to come tow us. I would strongly advise anyone reading this review to get AAA.

Horrible people! Please don't go to them or let them tow your car from a wreck. Had a hit and run one block away from my house. Instead of calling me to be there, they towed it and charged me $350+ to get it back when the accident took place right in front of my house. Saud the car was totalled, I drove it to the mechanic!! All they had to do was call me, its registered to me obviously, instead its all about the money to them. My parents used them as a mechanic untill they ripped them off as well charged her (my mom) $200 for a battery that is only $115 and then tried to say they installed it for free!!!! Go use them and find out the hard way.

They were at my site within 30 minutes of my call. The young man was efficient and respectful. I would highly recommend Darrell's Road & Wrecker Service. They are good people.

My family has known Darrell for 30+ years and to be honest I'm down right ashamed at them, opportunist at best! They make no provisions for anyone to get their vehicles back if you are low income or a single mother of say 2 and they don't take into effect any extenuating circumstances. My daughter's van broke down at animal park, in a parking space, not in the way, made sure to tell the lady at the desk that it could be a few days but nope the next morning they called the Arcadia police department a d had it towed... one week before Christmas and with two small children at home and a single mother. Because the cost the ARCADIA POLICE DEPARTMENT charges and what DARRELLS charges it made it impossible for her to retrieve her vehicle. But it's not a big deal for them because they take it, sell it and pocket the money off your misfortune! So if you don't have 450 to pay them they sell your vehicle for 800 and pocket the money which actually cost them say $15 for the hour of work and $1 in gas since it was towed literally 300 yards.... So to me they just make their money off of poor ppl so SHAME ON THEM! My daughter lost her job right before Christmas a d had to sign the title to her vehicle over to DARRELL or have a lien put against her license.... So nope I don't have anything good to say about this place... getting rich off the poor!

Expensive and the peoe are rude and probably racist. I was not treated good and felt the racial rension soon as i came in the spot. No hello or good morning but when the white person came in it was all "hello how are you, what can i help you with"! If i could give no stars i would! Dont reccomend to people of color!

Service beyond the call of duty. I was on my way to Daytona for the Memorial Day Weekend, Friday, approaching 5 p.m. when my car was towed into Darrell"s. I was crushed, seeing no way my car's transmission could be repaired in time for me to complete my trip. After a few questions, I was told it may just be a hose that split. To find out it was necessary to remove the radiator, they removed it and it was a split hose that carried transmission fluid. They did not have that hose so a phone call was made and the hose was brought quickly. My car was fixed, it was well after closing time on a holiday weekend, Darrell's saved my trip, I got to Daytona. Gentlemen, every single man there. I highly reccomed Darrell's, it's where I will take my car from now on.

Awesome tow service.. This was a long holiday my friend couldn't get her car ..hope they don't charge her cuz they were closed ..we will see
