Amazing staff and service! From my initial phone call to set up my appointment until I picked up my car Christian Brothers did an outstanding job. Every person I interacted with was professional and attentive to my needs. Their complimentary shuttle service is amazing and so helpful. Both drivers were very personable. Brian was my service advisor he went above and beyond by taking the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions. Brian really made this a great experience!

please do not take your vehicle here. these guys will give you the runaround. they are not certified mechanics and this is not a Christian company at all it won't allow me to leave zero stars. you guys don't deserve one. took my 08 Ford ranger here to have work done on it on the air conditioning Said it was one small thing then it led to another thing. then it led to another thing. now my truck is permanently messed up because these people do not know what they're doing I repeat again. please do not take your vehicle there. they do not do a good job and their customer service is horrible

Just went yesterday. They drive me home and then picked me up. I had an inspection done for free on my new to me Tundra. and they were honest and helpful. Man this place is the best. I love this place. A few months back Joe took great care of me. The work was professional and the cost was very fair. I will be bringing my Genesis Sedan there from now on. Went back again this past weekend and Ray and The courtesy shuttle guy I wanna say Erin? Anywhoo they were awesome. They did a great job and drove me home and picked me up. Best service I have had in a long time anywhere. I am a lifetime customer. Love how they don t try anything extra and do great work.

Awesome experience here. They re super fast, friendly and professional. All work is warrantied and they treat you like family even if it s your first time. Thanks for taking care of my truck! She feels new again even at 200k on the odometer

I am new to the area and needed a new auto shop. After a referral from my now wife that lived here in Riverview before me, I decided to listen (wise man).After taking my vehicle here I was totally amazed at the service, professionalism and turn around time.The first impression is the only one we get and I was totally impressed .I would recommend them over and over again because of everything including the Christian environment that was none religious.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

DON T GO HERE! I hardly ever leaves reviews but this has been the worst experience I ve had with a business. I had my car serviced by them a year ago and still till this day I m finding things were not done at all and i was charged for it. Also the original day I brought my car in for service, the mechanic left a tool in my engine bay wedged on my serpentine belt which caused my ac compressor to go out. Then just today I took my car in for the same exact issue of vibration at idle and was told it was motor mounts by another mechanic but here s the kicker. Christian brothers said they replaced all of them so i told my current mechanic to show me proof and lord behold 1 of the motor mounts looked to be the original and was never replaced. I was charged over $1000 to replace ALL motor and transmission mounts. Also Christian brothers refused to do an alignment on my car with the reasoning i needed inner tie rods, well my current mechanic checked all suspension components and showed me everything was fine. Christian brothers was trying to up sale and get more money out of me even though i paid over $2600 in repairs with no actual improvements on my car.

They are very very NICE and friendly! But labor is extremely expensive and Im not sure how competent they are. Long story short $1500 worth of work (80% of bill was labor), took it back bc it still smelled they assured me it was fine. 3 weeks later broke down at work in Sarasota radiator was cracked now head gasket may be blown because I kept driving it. Wont be returning! Fantastic Mechanic in Sarasota said the work they did should have cost $600 and was not related to the problem he could not believe what they are charging for labor. Thank God it broke down there and not here!

Today my car broke down on the off ramp in Apollo Beach. After sitting for a bit it started and a tow truck was going to take to long. The highway patrol told me about this place so I called and they were so nice. I drove my car there and just wanted to make sure it was safe to drive back to St Pete. They were very busy but they scanned my car and said there were no obvious problems probably software update. They were so kind and sent me on my way and I am home safe. Alejandro was amazing a very polite and knowledgeable young man. I highly recommend this place to my friends and anyone that live out there.

Had a headlight bulb that needed replaced. Went in the office and met Christy( service manager) and told her my situation. Even though they were swamped, asked me to pull up to the first bay. She had a tech come out and in 1 minute my problem was fixed. Great and very clean location and needless to say, our new go to auto mechanic. And BTW, no charge. Thanks guys.

Wow! Great space, a breath of fresh air in an otherwise dirty, dusty, dark world of auto repair. We brought my sixteen year olds first car in for a pre purchase inspection and the team here was very supportive and enthusiastic for him. Made him feel comfortable. The kindness they displayed as we left today almost choked me up, I'll just say that the Christmas spirit is alive and well.

I called CBA in Apollo beach to get a quote to fix the piston rings because that was what was recommended to me by another local shop but it was a 2 month wait. CBA said they can't just take their word for it so they had to do their own check which was $140 which they don't waive if you do the work with them like many other shops. They determined that it wasn't the piston rings that it was spark plug, fuel injector and wire set that needed to be changed with a price tag of $1427.20. I called back and asked them are you sure this will fix it because I don't have a lot of money and if you're not sure I will just sell it. The service advisor Christin said it was going to fix it for sure that I will not have any more issues. I uber to pick it up over night they forget to put the key in truck so I ubered back. To be fair they did reimburse me back for it. I get the truck same problem it was like nothing was done. I called back spoke to Eric the manager and after an hr of arguing and him one minute saying well your truck is 2006 how long do you expect it to last to well I got a solution with the catalic converter to fix it and these ford rangers never stop running and he will only charge $300 to fix. It didn't work I get another call that it's the piston rings exactly what other shop said it was lol. He told me he will talk to the owner. He calls me back to tell me there is nothing he can do that they went off what the codes told them. I told him that's why I called after the first quote asking are you sure you know what you're talking about. At the end of the day I don't think they knew what they were doing. I don't think they're bad people but they failed and let a customer leave without communicating correctly and not fixing the issue. They rather let the customer pay all that money not get the issued fixed and them become richer. I was extremely disappointed and I was warned by many people not to go there they are very expensive and just flat out not good. My mistake was trusting them. Not here here to bash them just voicing what happened so they do better and the next customer doesn't get fooled. Be on point if you use them ask questions record it if you have to and get a second opinion would be my advice. They will will give you the company line and act like they care but a real shop would not of done what they did. Be Careful!

What a disappointment. I know my parts can be hard to locate local so I made my appointment more than a week out. I verified the transmission fluid exchange with filter replacement was around an hour, 0.8 according to their system. I said at the time of making the appointment that I would wait. Upon arriving I was asked to leave my vehicle because the filter was not local. I was not shocked with the news because there were about 30 vehicles in the parking lot with only 2 bays occupied by vehicles being worked on. It is a shame to see such disorganization.

I've used Christian Brothers for car repairs over 10 years. Not this particular location for that length of time, but at other locations in Georgia & Arkansas. The experience has always been 5 star and as an organization they really do stand behind their work with a great warranty. Unfortunately, this weeks experience failed miserably when compared to all previous experiences. Had my 2012 Ford Escape towed in because it wouldn't start. Some online research reflected it could be a faulty ignition and I stated this in the notes when I scheduled the appointment. When I got the repair estimate there was a rather lengthy list of recommended repairs to include a new starter, new battery, new serpentine belt, a full tune-up, a coolant flush and fuel injection servicing. The estimate total was very expensive. I called to question the estimate, especially the serpentine belt which was listed as being worn - I'd replaced the serpentine belt 2 months prior and knew it wasn't worn. Advised the technician I questioned the entire estimate since they'd stated the belt was worn and also questioned why there was no mention of having tested the ignition switch since I'd included it in the notes. He committed to getting back with me with some answers. In some over an hour, I was contacted and advised the vehicle was now starting with no problem and they had eliminated the need to replace the starter (I think the cost for that service alone was over $400 in the estimate) and they had determined the alternator was also good - the initial estimate hadn't mentioned the alternator at all. I was told they had put a fresh battery on the vehicle and now everything was good. The technician also said several of the recommended items in the estimate had been driven by the age and mileage of the vehicle. So the very large estimate (well over $1000) was eliminated with the replacement of the battery. Had I not known the serpentine belt was less than 2 months old, I might not have questioned the estimate and had the battery and starter replaced - thus been out hundreds of unnecessary dollars. Clearly the technician failed to effectively troubleshoot the starting problem with my vehicle before generating the estimate. I'm extremely disappointed with this Christian Brothers franchise as the inflated estimate without effective troubleshooting makes them no different than any other national chain (ie Goodyear, Firestone, etc). I also did reach out to the franchise owner by email two days ago before posting this review. Still waiting to hear back from him.

I had my truck towed to Christian Brothers Auto Repair because my vehicle would not start. Christine was extremely helpful and straightforward while letting me know that I should take it to a dealership. They didn't charge me for trying to find the problem. If I should need work on my vehicle in the future, Christian Brothers will be my choice.

This CBA is worth every star!!Tommy was super helpful to us - he was able to get us in for a vehicle inspection PRIOR to purchasing this vehicle just to make sure we knew the exact condition of it. They are very efficient, honest, communicative, and kind go give them your business!!

My car wouldn't start at 355pm. My wonderful neighbor jumped my car and I headed to Christian Brothers and was there at 430pm. They ran a diagnostic test and installed my new battery. I was out in a hour. They are truly amazing.

Their negligence nearly killed me! They forgot to tighten a bolt on the tire rod causing me to lose control of my truck. Luckily I was not on the highway and was only doing 40 mph when the bolt fell off or it would likely have caused a high speed accident. My experience with this place has been that the customer service is good and the car service is poor.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance
