Soul food, not pizza! The folks at this convenience store are nice and quite helpful. But I'm mostly here to write about the restaurant next door which is NOT part of the convenience store. In fact, the building next door used to be a liquor store back in the day.And it hasn't been Pink Pig Pizza for a few years now. It's a place called Pearlie's and Pauline's Soul Food Cafe, and I highly recommend them. They have a buffet and everything on it looks and smells delicious. One time I was there just talking with the owners after they first opened and someone brought a fresh pan of ribs out of the kitchen. Even the smell of those ribs was to die for!We are truly fortunate to have Pearlie's and Pauline's here in Apalach!

Must try the Pink Pig Pizzeria next door! Great pizza and excellent Chef Salad. Don't let the simplicity and interior scare you away!

The place and people are nice but they are not very excepting of service dogs
