We had a fantastic experience with this company we saw all the golf carts on the island and we thought let s do it. We walked in and they accommodated us, tbone made sure we had a cart as it looked like they were all out. The sign in process was easy, we were in and out in 15 minutes. We had such a blast and it was the highlight of the day. You can see so much more of the island. Prices were reasonable and the service was great. We will be back if we make it back to A M I.

We were visiting AMI for the day and decided on a whim to rent a golf cart. Lazy Turtle was the first my wife called and we went for it. They got us in and on the road really fast. The gentleman who gave us the run down of how it works was very friendly and gave us great tips of what to check out. We started our 4 hr rental at 12:15 and they said to just have it back by 5. Super laid back and friendly. The cart was very clean and the only reason I gave 4 stars is because the cart was noisy. I know they have electric for longer rentals, but we were not on the island that long.Over all though, I was very happy with the rental and the people there.

We rented kayaks here and were very happy with the service and experience. The staff was very friendly and helped us to make the most of our time out on the kayaks. They have a very nice drop spot located behind the shop that leads out into the beautiful Bay. Highly recommend!

Tommy was so helpful at the Anna Maria location. Explained everything with the golf cart we rented. Had a wonderful day driving around the island!! Highly recommend Lazy Turtle!!!

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. The bikes we got were rusted, which happens a lot near saltwater, but one was barely usable. When asked to exchange it, was told it was our responsibility to take it to them. He suggested using the trolley, but the trolley said the tires were too big, so we had to walk it 3 miles. Not how I wanted to spend half a vacation day. The worst part was how rude they were about it. I really wanted to like this place, but I would suggest renting from another place. There are plenty of rental places with much nicer bikes.

This place is the best on the island. Got 2 bikes and a golf cart. Excellent service. Somehow got a flat tire on the bike, called them, they were there in under 5 minutes with another bike. Great place .buy a T shirt.

We brought the entire family to Anna Maria Island and just around the corner from our airbnb we rented Bikes from Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals, and T-Bone/T-BoZ was so cool who helped us, and made our experience so awesome! Thank you for giving me & my daughter the gorgeous Aqua-Marine Blue bikes to ride....so pretty, and so glad we got the basket to add to our bikes to carry all our beach stuff in, & to put all your bags in when going shopping. Also, you can get a water bottle holder to add to your bike as well....So cool! Whatever you do on the island, make sure to rent bikes....we had a blast riding them down the street to the beach each day, and taking bike rides to the adorable local shops and restaurants too. Can't wait to go back again next year....but this time we'll definitely stay longer than 1 week, because there's way too much to do on Island....By the time you get all settled in, it's time to pack back up....NO THANKS!! Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals made our whole experience on Anna Maria Island our new happy place! Thank you!

Yes yes yes!! This place is so great! After Hurricane Ian hit, we needed to get out of the house for a few hours and decided to go to AMI. While there, we stopped at Lazy Turtle to see if they were open bc the entire islands power was out. Even with the power out, they rented a golf cart to us and we were able to spend a couple of hours enjoying the beauty of AMI. Not only was the price great, especially compared to others on the island, The staff is so kind and friendly. We are locals and will only ever use Lazy Turtle to rent from again.

Man working there was so nice and they have very amazing warm, comfortable, and clean restrooms to use! They had really nice high-quality toilet paper, and it was very clean and all these really cool stickers on the door to look at while you pee!

A welcoming host, a very nice man, gave us all the info we needed. We rented a gulf car, kind of noisy tho, if you drive more then 10-15 mins there is not more pleasure in it. Maybe someday they will offer electric mini-cars for driving around the island.

Such amazing, kind, and helpful staff. Our undercarriage bumper was falling off of our car and they jumped in to help us out.(we weren t even customers) If they were kind enough to help us without us being customers, I can only imagine how incredible they are to their customers renting from their shop! We will most definitely be using them for our rentals next time!!! So grateful for their kindness!

They gave us great deals, are extremely friendly and flexible as well. We paid to rent beach gear but didn't end up using it, and they gave us a credit from it towards a cart rental without us even asking for it. Gave my wife a bunch of discounts on t shirts. Just awesome staff.

Rented out a scooter with my gf. The owner is the most chill, laid back and nice guy ever! He made sure we are comfortable and safe with driving the scooter. I most definitely recommend this place.

We recently were spending a few days on Anna Maria Island in December of 2022 had to check out of our rental house and didn't have a flight until late that evening. When we decided to rent a golf cart, the nice people at Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals not only worked with us to allow us to leave our luggage with them, they gave us some tips on where to do some last minute shopping, lunch options on the other end of the island. The golf cart ran smoothly, was comfortable and was an excellent value for the 4 hours we were looking to fill.We would rent from them again and their location is very centrally located on the North end of Anna Maria island a couple blocks from the pier.

We highly recommend Lazy Turtle!!! Butch is awesome. We rented a four passenger golf cart from Butch. The entire process was so easy and quick and service was above expectations. Butch was very friendly and offered us advice. We had a blast.

We loved this place. The employees are great to work with, they're helpful and kind. We rented bikes for the week and then rented kayaks for the day. Their prices were great.

Lazy turtles rentals, T-Bone and SteffiI cannot recommend this rental company enough!!- For paddleboards, kayaks, bikes, and golf carts. These people go above and beyond every single time we rent with them. And their prices are better than everyone near Pine.When we had to move rental houses due to AC issues, lazy Turtle called their sister company (Fun n More) and had them go to the first house, pick up a paddleboard and deliver it 6 miles south to our new house just so we could use it for 24 hours!!! They got nothing extra for it!! What an incredible company.They are located on the north end on Pine Ave., and they have a an opening to the canals just behind their building to put in the paddleboards/kayaks. They ve pulled up maps and told us exactly where to find manatees, dolphins, and stingrays -and we have seen ALL from their paddleboards.Their bike rentals are also very reasonable, and they allow you to turn it in afterhours so you can ride it as late as you want. If anything about the bike needs adjusted, they will do it for you if you ride it back by their store.They also have a store full of extras - water bottles, sunglasses, sunscreen, boogie boards, snorkels, goggles, and swimsuits.We do not know these people other than using their company repeatedly for rentals, and they ve always taken the best care of us!

Friendly staff but didn t realize they would not pick up the bikes. We had to go in shifts returning the bikes and someone driving back.

A group of 4 of us rented kayaks for the afternoon on a rare overcast day in AMI. What a fun way to be outside! The team at Lazy Turtle was very helpful getting us set up in the kayaks and providing an overview of where to go. We spent a little under 2 hours kayaking through the channels looking at houses, and then kayaking along the beach. Would recommend to all in AMI!

Amazing rentals and amazing service!! Such kind and friendly staff. They really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed!! Even gave us a golf cart ride to the best coffee on the island!! We will be back!!!

The food was great and friendly Midwest customer service even better. From paddle boarding to kayaking, bikes and scotters... they had something to accommodate everyone in our group. One of the best places we visited on our recent trip to Anna Maria Island. Not to miss!

Everyone should rent from these guys when in Anna Maria! The prices were better than anywhere else we found on the island and the guys working there were SO FRIENDLY and helpful. I was a little nervous to ride the scooters because I had not done it in about 10 years but he was so helpful and took us to a side street to make sure I was comfortable. I will only rent from these guys when returning to AMI!!!

Used Lazy Turtle a little over a year ago and we still talk about what great service we received there! They were so personable and gave us a great deal on renting a scooter from them. Will most definitely return when we come back to the island!

We rented a 2 person kayak to explore the canals and bay on Anna Maria island. Joe was very helpful And friendly. Very fair prices and a great shop. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Very relaxed place. Knowledgeable staff and super friendly! My husband and I loved that we could kayak right out the back door of their shop! Reasonable prices too.
