Rented some carts for a family vacation and couldn t recommend this company more. They were so efficient in getting them to us and even picking them up. The actual golf cart is in great condition, seems like they keep them like new! Customer service was top notch. Will be telling all my friends about them and I hope if you re reading this review you call and book too!

Spent a week with our family on AMI and it wouldn t have been as fun without a golf cart to tour around on. Great company. Cart was clean, fully charged and in great shape.

We experienced a really unfortunate situation with Gulf Coast Cart. We had reserved a golf cart for two weeks. It arrived on March 23. Within two minutes of driving the cart for the first time (shortly after delivery) it went from driving at a normal speed to about one mile an hour and had to be pushed back to our hotel. I immediately called, no one answered so I left a message informing them of the situation. Two days later, still no response, I called again, spoke with a person and let them know. They picked up the cart shortly after. Fast forward about a week, they found out the problem was a wiring harness that needed to be replaced. We figured that in a world of overnight shipping it shouldn t be too much of a wait after that. Unfortunately it obviously wasn t a pressing issue and we never got our rental, not one day out of the two weeks. Normally things like this wouldn t be a make or break deal. But the golf cart was supposed to be our only means of transportation on our vacation, and no other rentals were available. We were stuck at our hotel for two weeks unless we wanted to walk somewhere. It may sound like a drastic statement but it really did ruin our trip. I fully understand that things happen but as fellow business owners sometimes you have to spend money, more money than you anticipate, to fulfill obligations. I am bummed to have to write this review, as I had high hopes but we really feel like the issue wasn t addressed in a professional manor and that our rental agreement was written off without much effort.

Great customer service! The cart was delivered cleaned and fully charged. We rented a 6 seater and it was comfortable and still able to go just as fast as if it was only a driver on the cart! I will use them again and recommend them to all my friends and family!

Our cart was ready and waiting when we arrived. Tyler was awesome about responding quickly to texts whenever we had questions. Great price, excellent customer service! Definitely using them next time!

POORLY MAINTAINED CART, given to us with front end damage, underside.Cart was defective in the front end from day one.We rented a cart last week. Unfortunately from the second we first drove it, the cart alignment seemed off. In hindsight we should have called the owner right away. I didn't really understand the severity of the front end problem until few days later when I drove the cart a little farther distance and a little faster. It was unsafe for my kids to ride in. It would suddenly pull one way or the other in pretty sharp manner. Upon further inspection the tire on the front left was bent out. We did not do this. We barely ran the cart and certainly never hit anything, even a little bump or pothole.The unevenly worn tread on the tires tells the story. This cart had been riding this way with a screwed up front end for some time now. No way driving it very short distances for about 3 days out of the 7 day rental would do this kind of tread wear. Surprisingly when the guy (owner) came over to pick up the cart he immediately accused my wife and I of damaging the cart. He was yelling and quite aggressive. He treated me like a 20 year kid on spring break and never gave one thought that we were actually telling him the truth. It was so surreal it was almost like he does this sort of thing as a scam to get extra money out of people. I am a business owner and definitely would have immediately told him and paid for any damage if we had done anything to the cart. We did not damage it at all and barely drove it. We were given a poorly maintained golf cart. I would not recommend this company to anyone

I'd give zero stars if I could. We hadn't yet made our cart rental reservation but I had called from my cell to ask about the out the door price. He informed me that no one would be there to deliver any carts till around 3. No problem. We started to fill out the forms online but read the red tide conditions and decided to push the rental back a day or two since we'd be on the island all week. We provided no name, no phone number, no payment information, did not submit any forms; nothing. Around 2:15 I received a phone call from an unknown number. To my surprise it was Golf Coat Cart calling me back from their caller ID (again, they didn't even have my name) to ask me why they haven't received the rental forms yet.I told him that we decided not to do the rental today because of the red tide conditions (high) and before I could even tell him we would be renting later in the week, he interrupts me to tell me that in the future I need to call if I decide I'm not going to rent something out of courtesy. I told him that I hadn't even made a reservation to cancel. He then went on to say AGAIN that it's just the courteous thing to do to let them know that I wasn't going to be getting the cart and that he had to pay staff to come in to deliver the cart (even though I had not yet made the reservation) . I was very annoyed that he used my caller ID to call me back and lectured me on being a courteous customer and gave unsolicited advice on how to be courteous in the future.I informed him that it's not a wise business decision to allocate resources without a contract or the exchange of funds. He informed me that he's been doing this for 5 years so he's "got this hammered down." I mentioned that this was a situation that we could both learn from and he, yet again, told me that in the future I needed to be more courteous and let them know that I wasn't doing the rental. I told him that there wouldn't be an "in the future " because they will never get my business. Ever. Nor will they get business from anyone in my family who visits Anna Maria Island frequently.Customer service is a major contributor to a successful business. Gulf Coast Cart didn't just miss the mark, they flew wayyyy past it.

Worst service ever I been calling for service and never showed up for appointment or apologize for not showing up. Call them three times gave me a new appointment and still don t hear anything from them. Poor customer service so far.
