We brought Zembower s our 2005 Toyota Sequoia that was experiencing a range of problems after almost three years in storage. Given that we were out of the country while the repairs were being made, they sent along diagnoses and pictures to show what was being worked on. They tackled a full timing belt/water pump replacement, replaced all hoses, coolant, lubricants, and battery. They also did a full suspension update since this truck was about to face a 6,000 mile drive towing a travel trailer through the bayous, deserts, plains and mountains of the southern and western US. I am happy to say we had a safe and uneventful haul home. We had excellent communications with the team and the bill was, well, not a surprise. My husband regularly uses Zembower s, as he s in the car business and has never had a bad word to say about this place. They ve worked on my personal vehicles, as well as his, and now our camper van as well and we are never disappointed. It s hard to find places these days that are not only good at what they do, but are honest and have integrity while doing it.

I love Zembower's Auto Center. 2 years ago, I drove a 2010 Chrysler from Colorado to Florida. Zembower's has kept my old car running wonderfully.

Update 1/2/24. Once again Zembowers came through for us. Just prior to the NY holiday we were overheating. Got it to Zembowers and Chase, Jay W, Lance, Rhonda and crew got right on it. Fixed problem and back on road. Can t say enough. All mentioned below still valid as well THANKS!! .AGAIN! GeoBAlways get great service and support for our auto.This is an 8/23 update to a previous review. To add Zembowers is a NAPA Car Care Center. This means a LOT if you travel as much as we do. We were on the road 1500 miles from home. Engine light came on our 2000 camper van. Coded as a serious PCM (computer) issue.Talked to Zembowers in Florida and Rhonda, Lance and Victor went above and beyond in working with a NAPA Care shop ( Kuntry Kustom in Ithaca area) to resolve issue, find parts and get the work covered and completed under warranty.Zembowers, is our go to shop (even though we moved 200 miles away) for our autos. Especially our 2000 campervan which they ve kept me on the road for 320,000 miles and over 20 years. As a former service manager, I am hesitant to go to any shop. Well, let me tell you, Zembower's is AWESOME! My car had a very weird AC issue, and to make things worse, it is a one-year only produced vehicle. Gerardo and Chase made my AC work again! Thank you guys for your hard work and dedication to truly finding the issue, not just throwing parts at it hoping it's fixed. DEFINITELY will be rerurning and bringing my other vehicles!Services: Electrical repair, Air conditioning

My primary need for service was executed well. However, I was told that my wiper blades needed to be replaced (discussed) and the electronic report indicated my auto needed alignment (not discussed) among a few areas that were not urgent as yet. I explained to the service rep that new wiper blades had just been installed two weeks ago and although I did not mention it at the time, a four wheel alignment had also been completed 10 days before that. I find these two points in particular that were brought to my attention by Zembowers to be very curious. I should note that the alignment was done at a local dealership the wiper blade install myself.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tire rotations, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

I have been going to Zembower's Auto Center for years and they are amazing. Have had everything from oil changes to a drive shaft replacement. Guys in the front office are always trustworthy and friendly. Mechanics always do great work and my truck is continues running great with over 200k miles, thanks to Zembower's Auto Center. Come here for dealership prices and non OEM parts. They tried to charge me $900 for something I fixed with a $25 diaphragm in my oil filter housing. Buyer beware, they ll charge you $100 for their detailed inspection. And$129 for an oil change. It s rough out here boys haha.

We discovered Zembower's as a result of our tires purchase when Costco's Auto Program recommended them for wheel alignment and general service. The week before our alignment appointment for our 2019 Honda Odyssey, the rear door malfunctioned and would not open. We took the Odyssey to Honda. The motherboard had water damage. The weather-stripping on the rear door was disintegrating, but they wanted to confirm that was the root cause by doing a leak detection analysis. This meant we had to reschedule when their leak specialist was available. We tried calling to schedule the leak analysis appointment, but could never even get through to their service dept. In the meantime, we have our alignment appointment at Zembower's. I explained our situation. Zembower's was amazing! They diagnosed the leak (was actually a poor seal on the roof and not the rear window weather-stripping), fixed the seal, replaced the motherboard, replaced the weather-stripping, and did the alignment all in ONE DAY! They actually drove to the Honda dealer to get the motherboard and weather stripping parts, saving us money and hassle. Add on the Costco Auto Program discount and we saved even more. Great service (thanks, Victor!), very reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be taking our cars here from now on.Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

The two gentleman in the front office were pleasant and such a tremendous help! They gave me honest answers and advice. I had made an appointment for an alignment and tire rotation, but I left not having any services done because they truly cared for the safety of me (and others) due to the condition my vehicle is in. They saved me time & money and provided me with all the information I needed so that I can make an informed decision on whether it s worth fixing various aspects on my vehicle to make it safe or if it s simply time to find a new one. I cannot thank them enough for not making me feel pressured and for making sure that I was aware of what my vehicle needs and what my options are.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I originally brought my vehicle in for brake fluid flush and I was having another issue with my intake manifold that was not know at the time. When I get there they ask me when I would like my car back and I said by Tuesday at noon. My thinking was do the brake fluid since that is what I specifically asked for and if we can find and solve the intake manifold problem that is fine. The first day when I called for an update they say my vehicle was 4 quarts low on oil which I do not believe because I would have heard it in my vehicle, the motor would be knocking. Also, they tried to get me to do an oil change which was not needed at the time and just needed to fill it back up but I guess they just wanted another $100. And then they find a crack in the intake manifold and said it would be $1500 without labor, which I find funny because I can find an intake manifold online for $300 and General Auto Repair will do the same work with labor for $989. I then call Tuesday at 1 and find out the work that I took it there for had not even been started yet, then what was the point of asking me what time I would need the vehicle back by. They also never called me for updates during the time my vehicle was there, I had to keep calling them, which is wrong. So all in all nothing was accomplished on my car just a diagnostic and was still charged $135.Services: Engine repair, Brakes

Same as another review....got a AAA tow there....clutch blown.... Zembowers told me $3,000 and applied a ton of pressure over the phone... said I had 10 minutes to decide. Had it towed outta there to another shop.....$1,250. Would not recommend Zembowers.

So I have seen some negative reviews on for Zembower's and honestly I feel this is so stupid. One guy recently wrote a review on here and I'm reading it and I say to my myself If you know that your engine will be knocking when is 4 quarts low then why is such an experience person like yourself taking the vehicle to a repair shop to have diagnosed? To my knowledge Zembower's diagnostic fee is like 100 dollars, lowest I have seen in Florida at that, you have low oil which I'm sure they had to add, you got charged $135 hmm really? You're just paying for their time hence diagnostic fee which in sure you whould have had to agree to in advance. My guy if you're crying for that then take the bus or buy a bicycle . My friends takes all there vehicles to to Zembower's and nothing but great experience. They don't try to scam anyone and they push to always do the right thing. Ladies and gentlemen please understand if you have an older vehicle or a vehicle with very high mileage then repairing it will cost money especially, most importantly Zembower's pushes to use parts of quality not some cheap quality that won't last 6 months. You get what you pay for. Zembower's auto center are awesome and the one to trust. Chase Zembower's voted best Tech in Florida. Well trusted always ans forever.

Great experience. I had my drivers side door handle break off and I got some quotes and Zembowers was by far the cheapest. They were great to communicate on the phone with, especially Chris. Chris was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail over the phone. When I came in person, Chris was at the desk and took my car immediately. The work got done within a few hours and it s great being able to open my driver side door again. I would definitely do business with them again. Thanks again to Chris and the staff for a great customer experience.
