My daughter was traveling through Alachua on I-75 when she was hit by a truck retread that disabled the car. Unfamiliar with the area, the car was towed to Rodgers as one of the selections from our tow service. What a fantastic choice! The tow truck dropped off the car after hours and she got ride home (140 miles away) not knowing what was wrong or how long it would take to fix. I called them the next day and found they were locked out of the vehicle which now had a dead battery (they were only left a fob and no door key). These guys figured out how to get into the car, charged the battery, repaired the serpentine belt (retread was sucked into the belt destroying it) and fixed up some loose body parts the retread caused to the front end, all for $200. The car was ready the same day and they even went out of their way to work with my daughter picking up the car after hours. I can t say enough good things about Brent and Troy. We were in a very vulnerable position and Rodgers took great care of us. Highly recommended!!!

I can't say enough great things about these guys, especially Troy. I've been bringing multiple cars to the over the years for various issues. Several times they never charged me for their time if they couldn't find anything to fix or aren't able to for some reason. When they do, prices are fair and reasonable. Recommend them with both thumbs up!!

I have been a customer of Roger s Tire and Auto since 2011, and they ve ALWAYS done right by me. They serviced my previous car, and they ve serviced my current car since I bought it in 2012. As a SINGLE WOMAN, having had several poor experiences in the past, I can say with 100% confidence that this company will not blow smoke up your tailpipe nor try to sell you something you don t need. They are a legitimate, down-to-earth, and HONEST car repair business. I go out of my way to ensure my car is serviced at Roger s Tire and Auto!

I have always had good service at Rogers. The last time I took my van in, the check engine light was on with a fuel emission code. They weren't able to locate what was causing the problem, so they made a recommendation for me to take it to another shop. I was not charged, even though they had the van for two days trying to locate the problem. I even got a break light replaced free. I highly recommend them.

Troy, Brent, and the rest of the team are amazing! My husband and I have taken our cars here for the last couple of years and we are always satisfied with the quality of work and the timeliness in which it is performed. This small business truly values it's relationship with it's customers. We will be customers for life.

My family has been taking our vehicles to Roger's for years. Troy is so reliable and helpful, I trust him completely. I once had a complicated repair that he spent all week on and replaced multiple parts to fix. When he identified that it was a computer problem he told me he wasn't equipped to fix it, *REFUSED to charge me for parts and labor*, and sent me to one of his competitors that had the certification and equipment to help me.I recommend this place to everyone who asks, Troy has my business as long as he is in business.

Well had a wood screw go head first into our rear tire on 03 11 2022. Pulled into Roger's from Interstate 75. Was going to patch but radial broken on treads. Awesome job and back on road in less than 30 min. Thank you Roger's Tire and lube.

Stopped by today just to get air put in my left rear tire bc my tire pressure light came on. I was greeted with a friendly smile and someone who seemed legitimately happy to help. When I explained that I had just put air in all four tires about a month ago, he immediately had someone grab the soap bottle to spray my tire to check for any slow leaks I might ve had. It was so refreshing to have someone provide service with a smile and go that extra step to make sure my tire was safe without me even asking them to. If I do end up needing a new tire, I ll be coming back here. Thank you!!!

I've been here two times in the last two months with my truck and I have to say, these guys are awesome. My first job was a simple brake pads, rotors and caliper repair. They were fast and they installed quality parts for a very reasonable price. The second time I took my Toyota to the dealership and they wanted to charge me $1800 for a repair on an air injector valve. I brought it to Rogers and they installed it in less time than Toyota would have taken and for %25 of the cost. It's hard to find a mechanic who is honest and transparent with you... and one that does quality work for a low cost. But I really think we have that at Rogers. I will no longer be using dealership garages and will ALWAYS bring my truck or any other vehicle here to Rogers.

Auto service doesn't get any better than Roger's Tire and Repair! I have been a customer since 2009 and have found them, without fail, to be honest, totally fair on charges for parts and service, and top-notch mechanics. In addition they are always pleasant and friendly. They keep my two cars in safe operating condition. I TRUST them - something rare these days when it comes to service.

I took the vehicle in to service the air bag. But there was a mix up and I got an oil change instead. But Troy kept the vehicle and did the code trace for service air bag and didn't charge me for diagnosis. But hey, oil change is good to do.

We have relied on this shop for almost all of our vehicle repairs for years. Alan and Troy are always friendly and have never given us any reason to believe they are not completely fair with their pricing and honest in their diagnoses. Well, we accidentally put them to the test this week. We had been reeled into another shop in Gainesville by a two-oil-changes-for-20-dollars deal. We got the cheapie oil change, and were told our vehicle needed brakes...and it was an emergency and could not wait, the other shop staffers told us. They wanted $360 to replace the brake pads. That sounded steep, so we left and called Alan. He said the repair would be $160 and he d get me right in on the next day. After we dropped off our car, he called and said we should come pick it up. It didn t need brake work! Wow! So thankful for this wonderful business right in the heart of Alachua. Thanks, Alan and Troy! Shame on the other shop for such crooked dealings that make people suspicious of mechanics! Please keep up the great work, Roger s Tire and Repair. You are appreciated!

Alan was super nice on the phone. Then when I got there he was really irritated that I was there. He even asked me if I was sure I wanted to do my tires today! They were really quick and did a great job. 20 minutes for two tires. I thought the price was a little high. I asked if they had any cheaper tires. They said they don't buy chinese tires. When I got home, I looked up the tires they gave me. Turns out they were Japanese! Toyo tires- Here is a picture of the receipt.

Brought my SUV in for repairs. Had a busted lower radiator hose that needed to be replaced. Part was replaced and the repair was completed successfully. Here's where the bad starts.... Alan(or whoever) said they couldn't get the part for THREE DAYS. I called the local auto parts distributor right down the road and they informed me they could get the part in the very next day by 3pm. I had to do his job for him, basically. I had to dig around for the part and try to get it in sooner. You can't make a customer wait three days for a part to come in. That is ridiculous. PEOPLE NEED THEIR CARSThe DAY I got the SUV back I noticed a weird noise and surmised it was probably due to things that needed to "settle" after the repair. Wrong. The noise is now worse and gets louder when I accelerate. A HORRIBLE grinding sound that makes me not want to drive the car but I have to go to work. When I call the guy today(4-2-19) he tells me to "bring it back in" so we can look at it. He is going to claim the radiator was empty when I dropped the car off. This is not true. I live right down the road from this shop and filled the radiator back up with coolant prior to dropping it off. If the radiator was empty it's because IT ALL DRAINED OUT OF THE BUSTED HOSE WHILE MY CAR SAT FOR A DAY PRIOR TO REPAIRS. I seriously doubt I am the cause of this grinding noise which seems like it's emanating from a pulley(maybe). All I know is this, prior to bringing it in and even after driving it hot, the car did not make this noise. After I get it back from the shop it's making a new noise. 1 + 1= 2 Now, they may reply to this review and try to make me the bad guy, but look at all the bad reviews for this place. Alan is indeed a rude individual who, I can tell, does no wrong and is always right. Over the phone I was hinting to the fact that they messed up my SUV. I can tell he was getting annoyed because he got louder over the phone and wouldn't let me speak. Kept speaking over me. I hung up. He is not a customer oriented person from what I've experienced. And from all the negative reviews he sounds kind of racist. Why would someone make that stuff up? Who knows what is true and what is lies at this point. Not going back here though. I'll go to Performance Transmission in Gainesville Fl. This place is very good for repairs. Very nice couple who own and operate it. I highly recommend them.In summary:if you want new noises coming from your vehicle after repairs then by all means, bring your car here.

Nicest people that you could ever meet. They are genuinely in the business to help people and aren't steered by greed. They were informative and helpful. I wish every auto repair place could be as honest and happy as Roger's Auto Repair.

These guys are legit!!! Truthful and honest to the max...they wanna help you and give you the best deal or option. They try to make sure you don t get screwed over! They helped me out today and I m so grateful. Locals know and trust them for a reason! Highly recommend

It was 2:00pm on July 3rd and they were trying to close up early. I live right down the street and desperately needed a tire. They fit me in any way and got it done quick. I recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for your fast and friendly service!

Troy Walters, owner of Roger's Tire & Repair and employees have taken care of all my family vehicles for years now. I totally trust his judgment and he will be the first to tell us if a repair isn't really necessary at the moment. That kind of service makes me know he is a 'customer first' kind of repair shop. I don't feel he suggests expensive repairs unless they are absolutely necessary and I totally trust his judgment and expertise.

Had my truck towed here after hours. They had it up first thing in the morning and I was back on the road faster than expected. Great service. Friendly people. Extremely fair price.

Great all around job for my wife and my employees. I send everyone to Rodger's because no matter the issue they will do it correctly and with your pocket book in mind. Professional Honest and Polite service, these guys are not selling Blinker Fluid.

Very Rude. I called to get a price check on replacing 2 U joints on my vehicle, and he said he couldn't give me a price until he saw my vehicle. Which makes sense until he said he would need to keep my vehicle for half a day!! I don't have another vehicle, and I don't have family here. So, I asked if anyone could take me back to work at Progress Park. (Not even 5 minutes down the road) He told me maybe I need to call someone else that can accommodate me. He wouldn't even give me a ball park figure. I got the feeling he was talking to me in this rude way because I was a female calling. I don't think he would have talked to a man that way. I will not do business with him, EVER!!

Fast and friendly service. Plus you can have your LP gas tanks filled for your grille,etc at a much better deal than swapping tank at gas station. 20 lbs for 20$

I'm sad to say this, but I went to Rogers to have them patch a tire, this was 2 years ago today, but there were two gentleman in the shop and I guess a customer one of the men was very nice and polite, he was the one working on the tire, the other one was sitting on a desk, doing some paperwork or counting money, he was the rudest most obnoxious person, I've met in a while, he acted like he was the boss and for the first time living in Florida I heard some of the most racist statements coming out of a persons heart, He knew I was a minority, but he was telling this client how the school system is so dumb, they wanted to put black kids and white kids in the same classrooms, when white kids are smarter than blacks, then he said he always told his kids they're superior than black kids, then he started talking about how damn Yankees took over the government and how he hated them and he kept saying a whole lot of hateful things, and about his confederate pride, blah, blah, blah...One thing I found funny is that as he was saying all of this, there is a big picture frame of the one and only, the true American flag, right there on the wall. I guess that's his freedom of speech, but if you are black or a minority I wouldn't recommend this place. Whites only!!!!

Great fast service at a very reasonable price! Car rides so much better now. Will definitely return and will gladly recommend them.
