Had to pull off expressway to tired and still 2 hours from our destination. The front desk women was not very nice just matter of fact when we told her their were roaches in the bathroom. There were 10 of us in 3 different rooms all gross. Told her and she was like roaches in every room?? Like she was so surprised. Yes!! We left still cannot get a refund. DON'T EVER STAY HERE!!!!!!!!

I was reading reviews from other guests and most of the bad reviews just seemed not to be true. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Of course this is not a five star hotel, and to all the people giving it bad reviews I just think your wrong. This place is a motel not the Ritz Carlton so stop acting like it should be. Like I said Great Staff, fairly quiet considering it's close to the interstate and busy 441. If I'm ever in the area I will not hesitate trying to book a room here again. Thank you to the staff and owners for making my stay pleasant and enjoyable.Rooms: Not bug filled like most of the bad reviews say. I stayed a week and did not see a single bug the whole time.Walkability: Very walkable to several fast food restaurants and convenience stores.Food & drinks: Cannot comment on the food or drinks because there were plenty of fast food joints to choose from.

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stepped into, totally gives off Gordon Ramsay Hotel Hell vibes. I was traveling through Florida and needed a place to stop in for the night because I could not continue my drive because of the weather. I checked in around 1:20am and checked out at 1:25am. Upon opening the door the room had a musty smell. I immediately checked the sheets, as I do with every hotel I check into. Looks like it wasn't washed in years. Stains everywhere of all different shades of the rainbow. The bathroom was filthy. Stains in the tub and toilet. Unidentifed matter splattered on the walls. Dust and hair on the counter tops and the top of the microwave. Definitely a health hazard! To stay in one of their rooms you need to wear a hazmat suit. I understand that it's more of a motel than a hotel but they are definitely risking their guests health by allowing them to use their accommodations. It should be shut down immediately! Days later I am unable to get my refund. The staff on site on check in was really friendly and accommodating. Apparently the manager is supposed to issue the refund. I was unable to get a hold of him for days. I booked through a third party and asked them to help with my refund. They said they got a hold of the manager but he was "incredibly rude and hung up the phone." I would not recommend that anyone stays here. I wish I could give this place zero stars! DO YOUR JOB AS A MANAGER OF A HOTEL! THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT AMERICAS BEST VALUE! DO BETTER!03/07: The manager finally reached out on 02/19 and issued a refund but instead of refunding the money. The amount for the stay was debited from my account. We were told it would be refunded in a few days. I have been tirelessly been trying to get a hold of the property for over two weeks to kindly cancel on their end to no avail. This has been the most frustrating process!

Room dirty full of roaches.Crooks run it..girl refused to give refund to the cardI asked if the rooms were clean and nice before I rented it.Crooks dirty crooks .......do not stay here .

Been staying here with my wife and four kids most on the time I m at work and wife out dashing we re barely at the room other than night. Well we been getting hassled about having us through r trash in the dumpster around back to not use there trash cans cause they always overflowing which in are case maybe one small Walmart bag r two is from use but still they want use to do it I Reyes telling them maybe they should empty them once a day but obviously that to much for them they only do it once r twice a week. Then when comes to room service one week they say they gotta do it once a day and another week lucky to get them to service room once that week we had good comments that we keep room clean but like a said they can t maintain a schedule always make it inconvenient for us now once we get home are early and the morning we gotta go do there job for them and take r trash to dumpster.. just that when paying for a room there was accommodation that s hotel we easily make ur problem . Only good thing it s it cheap and not far from my work. Poof and just like that they kick me and the kids out in the rain for this review.

no one picks up the phone at the front desk first of all. second, i tried to cancel one day out of the 2 days i booked and the third party said the total for the 1 room would go up 2 dollars more than the 2 days i had booked. so it was originally $218 for 2 nights but $221 for 1 night if i canceled one of the days, which makes no sense. so i would have saved 2 dollars if i had kept both nights. but then i checked the website and she actually lied bc it should have been $160 for the night i wanted to keep. then when i asked for cheaper optiona she THEN tells me it would be half the price if i just told the front desk im checking out a day early. she obviously should have given me that option in the first place. and she failed to mention the policy that i would have to tell them before 4pm of the day i booked if i wanted a refund. i literally had to inform her of that policy by the way. but again no one answers the phone at the front desk in alachua. completely unprofessional and they clearly just tried to scare me into keeping both days. so i canceled both days for a full refund (which will take 7 business days btw) and i will be booking at another hotel to save the headache.

Room were dirty and to noisy no phone in the room bathtub was nasty floor very dirty lobby staff very attentive. If I hadn t driven 17 1/2 hours only to stop for gas I would have asked for my money back and went to someplace else.Rooms: I was in 138 and after driving 17 1/2 hours I would have asked for my money back and went to another hotel. Very dirty rooms would not even shower in the tub. It was dirty slept on top of the bed covers and thank God I brought my own blanket and pillowvery noisy with other guest young guest at that with very large, pitbull dogs running up and down the hall hollering chasing the dogs. Your staff in the front office very attentive, but will not stay there again.

Do not waste you money nor risk your health staying here. This hotel was DISGUSTING. There were roaches crawling all over the walls, out from under the AC vent, on our BED, the furniture was broken when we walked in. You can also tell there has been water damage to the room. I took pictures of everything and went back to the front desk to ask for a refund after I was charged a $50 deposit to ensure the room was not damaged upon my departure and then another $95 to stay in the room. I went and talked to Christopher and asked to be move to another room or my money back and there was nothing he could do because a manager was not there. This place needs to be shut down. It is unsanitary and uninhabitable.

We ended up staying here back in Sept cause I had to be at shands paid a 50 dollar deposit plus the room got to our room roaches everywhere went back to front desk he said he was sorry we can give u another room we said now our money back please well we got our deposit back but we didn't get what we spent on the room I've tried calling them either they hangup or don't pick up they are scammers but it's ok when my bank gets done and the local heath dept. I don't think they will be open anymore so nasty and trashy place ever

Do you love waking up in the middle of the night to strangers knocking at your door at 1 am, feeling like you re on the set of Fast and Furious with the drag races in the parking lot, and blood stained sheets that haven t been cleaned following mysterious other stains on the bed? Than this is the place for you! We originally requested a non-smoking room when we booked this place for a one night stay to go to the springs early the next morning. Only to come find out when the room smelled like I was going back to the 1920 s with the stained tar walls and the smell of straight cigarettes! Man, my asthma s gonna love this place! We requested rooms to be changed but that they were fully booked (don t know how that s possible but if there s a will, there s a way) and that the vents from the room next door was the reason why the room smelled like the prohibition era. Our two friends stayed upstairs and had an extra bed so we just stayed with them, only for our night to become more memorable. We became friends with our new hotel roommate who was living there already, Mr. Roach. He hissed at us and we were forbidden to open the drawer (aka his home) or else there would be consequences. On a final note, I guess they filmed an episode of CSI hete considering both beds were COVERED in latex (yes, latex from that one adult activity), weird discharge stains where the pillows are, and blood stains. So, if you re looking for for memorable times cause this will definitely be one, than I highly recommend this place!P.s. We originally requested a refund and the lady said she would review it but that the owner wouldn t most likely not give us one ($150 down the drain and you have to pay a $50 deposit which is not on the website AT ALL and non-refundable). This place is a literal money scam!

Horrible place, staff not friendly,had a major argument with front desk rooms nasty. Customers trying to get refunds and can't dont waste your time. This will be reported to the health department just look at the box spring, I was afraid to touch the mattress never slept in them decided to leave. Lost money because they wouldn't release a refund.

Okay sooooo, the people working here are AMAZING!!! That's the only reason this place gets any stars. I'd give the workers 5/5 stars they're great. The hotel itself gets -5/5 stars. I pretty much knew what I was getting myself into with this hotel, though, because it was $70. While every other hotel in the area was $200+. Plus, this franchise doesn't have the best reputation regardless of the name. Anyways, there was mold in the toilet, cigarette burns in the box spring, cockroaches everywhere, & my ankles got bit up by bed bugs.

We got two rooms for three days because we had a hurricane come through and we needed a place to stay. The frig didn t work but the freezer did and there was a can of beer in the freezer so when they cleaned the room they didn t check the freezer then we checked out a day early because our power was back on. This was august 312023 and I still have not gotten my security deposite back or the money for checking out early. I will never stay there again especially not being refunded for my room and security deposit! And when you call the hotel you get hung up on because their phone system is messed up.

The people were so nice, check in was great. Just the room...The room smelled clean, but upon further inspection there was a roach infestation and a few other types of bugs in the bathroom. The tub and floors were dirty, we were afraid to shower and wouldnt walk around without shoes. The check-in clerk was super nice, he was very helpful when asked about delivery places and nearby restaurants and gas stations and the such. I would recommend for the staff alone, I just had an issue with our room is all.Rooms: It was dirty, there's a roach infestation and the floors were sticky.Safety: I felt safe, the doors had locks and chain latches and the windows locked as well.Walkability: There are several restaurants and gas stations nearby.Food & drinks: Coffee in the room, I don't recommend drinking the water, it's notoriously harsh in this part of Florida anyways. But there are restaurants and gas stations nearby.

Room roof was leaking water on bed , I saw a mouse in room , towel an sheets was not clean. Asked for clean towels an staff stated they couldn t issue new towels until the next day. Definitely will not stay here again. Not to mention the check in staff told us we had room 159 but it was rented out already an he gave us a key so when we unlocked the door there stood a lady looking at us like we was breaking in. All these issues was brought to the attention of staff.

Simply awful, probably the worst hotel I have seen. I had this place booked for work, checked in and checked right out without staying, and they did not refund. Room was deplorable, not fit for human occupancy, broken moldings, dirty sheets, dirty walls, dirty bathroom, broken counter top, running toilet and sink, moldy tub and food debris on the floor. Avoid at all costs.

**beware**I complained twice about my sheets being torn, roaches in the bathroom, lights not working and the toilet constantly running. Was told maintenance would go fix the issues, they never did, nor did housekeeping replaced the sheets. Mentioned it again in next morning because they problems were never fixed, was told they would speak to the property manager for a refund or a discount. In the meantime I have contacted Expedia where I booked the hotel to inform them of the issues, Expedia emailed them, I called the hotel back because the refund was denied. Asked to speak to the person I told all my issues to and was told due to me contacting Expedia they will definitely not issue me a refund and hung up.

This room had quite a bit of roaches , the first couple of days wasn t so bad but I did wake up with roaches in my bed. A lot of roaches at that , I told the front desk worker in the morning and he acted like he was in disbelief but once we went through the room he didn t say anything else because there was about 20 or so running around . Had to roach spray my work clothes so I didn t take them home with me. This place gets a 10/10 for the amount of roaches (most roaches would approve) and a 1/10 as far as the room goes. They also charge a 50 dollar hold .Laughable

This the worse Hotel/motel experience I have ever had. IN MY MY LIFE!Room: Beds are as hard are rocks, not comfortable. The flooring is all creaky and broken plus it not looking are feeling clean/cleaned. There was a disgusting smell of the room. Plus multiple things that were disgusting (Randomly used Band-Aid stuck on wall, dead roach in Bathroom, multiple flies etc)Service: Was not as horrible as the room but in its own way. They Basically scammed me out of the getting a ground floor room by asking for 10 extra dollars for no reason. They also didn't provide my aunt with a ground floor room with disabilities (being In a wheel chair) They lie about having an elevator to be used if we did have to go to the 2nd floor or more. Tried to get extra money out of my aunt after she already paid for the room thing to make her pay for another. ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING!Location: the only thing decent about This Motel is it location due to my family being an in & out after due to just wanting to a Graduation of my cousin (UF). It was convenient to use but could have gone some place different.

If you have pets do not stay here. It costs more for the pets to stay here then you! The pet fee is $50 PER PET. Yes you read that correctly. It is outrageous. Also if you qualify for a discount do not book online as they cannot give a discount after. As for the rooms they're dirty and need some work. Our toilet was never cleaned. I believe there to be blood or some other kind of stains on the walls. The shower was gross. And our bed cover had cigarette holes. Please refer to the pictures. The room also smelled of mildew. They have a breakfast room but it's closed. Why? Who knows. The only "breakfast" they had was coffee, sunny D and cheese danish. This place needs some serious updating.

Charged close to $170.00 for 2 adults and 1 cat. Check in person unaccommodating. Dirty old poorly maintained room. Dog paw prints all over Windows and room smelled like dog. There is no breakfast. Pleasant housekeeping employees. We were exhausted, but we wished we would have found another hotel.Note: We believe our cat got fleas in this nasty hotel. $50 vet bill plus $60 for flea meds, several weeks to eliminate fleas in our house.

Well hey there folks... are you looking for hepatitis A.. B... and C... well look no further than here at America's best value Inn. Yes sir or ma'am or whatever you want to identify as.. we've got all 3 so come on down and see for yourself. What's that you ask?.. is it a fair price for a good night's sleep? Well that all depends on if you like sleeping on mattresses from 50 yrs before memory foam was even invented because our mattresses are ready to spring into action at a moments notice . Need more reasons to stay with us???.. well if you have the time to wait.. then we have the toilet for you!!. After just 52 seconds of holding the handle in the flush position... it may flush.. then again.. it may not. I feel like I'm leaving something out... ohhhh I remember now... if you aren't feeling dirty before staying with us then a nice clean bath will fix what ales you... don't mind not having towels because let's be honest... if they didn't use towels to clean off the blood soaked tub... why should you use them either? So come on down to America's best value for that down home crack house feeling. And if you want some gum before you go to sleep... just pull some right off the wall. So remember... don't stay at motel 6 where Tom likes to leave the light on... here at America's best... our lights don't even work.. besides, no reason to wake the roaches.. they need the sleep too

We were supposed to stay for 3 days 2 nights but we couldn t even make it we left a day prior, the place was super super dirty had dead insects under the beds and the mirrors were super dirty. We know that for the price was not going to be a beautiful place but we at least expected to be clean. They claim to offer some type of breakfast or snack and was a little muffin with a little juice we were 6 people and they just had 3. Overall very poor experience ! The only good thing that I got to say about this place is that they had very hot hot water !!!

I had booked a room there for Friday 25, 2023 # room 125 . I have been a local for over 30 years . $75 for 2 beds . Plus $50 cash deposit.The rooms still had trash on floors not vacuumed and walls and around baseboards was nasty . I was tired and wanted to sleep. Went to Sonny's BBQ and got takeout out . I get back to the room. Was making a plate and dropped a French fry .. Roaches started coming from everywhere. I complained to the office and I was given Hornet spray . More roaches on the wall. I had to fight roaches all night and they didn't apologize for anything. Like oh well..No Continental Breakfast just old cereal and no coffee . The staff was enjoying it . One woman and 2 men running the office . I could not get my deposit until I had them.come check count for old used workout stained towels ..They were hard old towels and never stayed there before and will stay there again .. roaches loaded up in my purses and luggage ..Rooms: Nasty and uncleaned , old without linen . No blankets and then counted towels like I wanted to steal them..I was scared to use them .Nearby activities: Pool closed at 7 . I got there at 6:30 Pm no play grounds . You can walk your dog . Another looking motel if you keep going back . probably should have gone there instead ..other activities just roaches party in the Room..

We had reservations for a 5 day stay to go to the Gater Nationals in Gainesville.We arrived, checked in and got our key.Went to bring our luggage in but checked out the room first. It was filthy, in disrepair, the only chair in the room was terribly stained and the bathroom and shower area was disgusting. The health department should shut this place down. We gave our room keys back and found another place to stay.

What a dump. Our first room was never swept food on the floor cigarette burns in the sheets and black stains on sheets. The tried to move us to 6 different rooms all were worse some had pea stains on sheets one had holes in the bath tub and none were swept. We refused to stay and could not get our money back the clerk wouldn't call the manager Anthony said we had to come back in the morning after which the still refused to call manager and refused refund.
