Billy the manager is a good dude I've known him for many years he's always made sure that I had exactly what I've needed anytime I needed it for my vehicle he's got a good staff that is knowledgeable and works hard to find what you need this Advance Auto Parts is my go-to place when I need parts. If Billy doesn't have the part he will try to order it and have it there within the day or the very next day.

Good prices but lazy employees. At this location you'll get asked to put baskets back on the rack if you use one. There's always a guy that knows nothing about cars trying to help while the manager just plays on his phone. Come here knowing what you need because you'll get no help here as well.

I stopped buying a while ago in this store due to the terrible attention of one of its employees. Yesterday I returned after a long time due to the urgency to buy motor oil and oil filter. To my bad luck, the same seller served me. I asked him if there was any cheap offer for synthetic motor oil and filter, to which he replied that the price will depend on the oil you choose. Ok, zero information about the current offers. I didn't say anything and I went to choose the oil and I asked him for the oil filter number and he told me that he would take care of it. I chose a Mobil 1 oil and filter bundle. I went back to the seller, the oil filter was already in the bag. I made the payment and when I checked the bag the seller had put a Carquest filter, the cheapest one. When I complained about the filter, he told me "that's what we have available". And why didn't you tell me that from the beginning? I replied. Well, if you want the Mobil 1 oil filter you're going to have to wait because we don't have it in stock, he replied in his usual lousy tone of voice. I only took the things that I had bought and withdrew, never to RETURN AGAIN. Then I realized that the bundle also came with another product that the seller did not give me either.I always had bad experiences at this store. I have experience as an auto technician so I can tell what this seller does.

Stopped briefly to ask for help fixing wiper motor. Asked to borrow a needle nose pliers. They didnt have one...? Not a repair place, I understand, but the level of disinterest in lending a helping hand was disappointing.

Went to buy some brake fluid. I saw a sign that said they loan tools. So I borrowed a brake bleeding kit. You have to leave a deposit which is understandable. But the deposit was refunded immediately upon my returning of the kit.

Seriously the best and most helpful auto parts shop in all of Alachua county. Every time I've come in here to fix up my aging car I have been treated well and been given good advice and excellent product recommendations. As a mechanically-competent female I'm all to familiar with being treated like I don't know anything when I'm at a car parts store, but here that's not the case. The staff is friendly and helpful and has never talked down to me. Products are always in stock when I need them and the variety and pricing is good. Highly recommend this location! Great people and great products :)

There was only one other person in the store and I asked if they could check why my tire light was on before I had to get on the highway. They were exceptionally begrudged to help. They shooed me away saying just put some air in it with out offering to do the free test to make sure me and my child would be safe on our trip. Don't bother stopping if you don't have to.

I had a minor emergency...a dead battery and when they went to install it apparently my car had a battery that is supposed to be professionally installed. I was from out of town, the general manager, Shannon, took pity on me and not only installed my battery, but had to take apart what seemed like 1/2 my engine to do it! He didn't have to do that but out of just being a nice guy he helped me and sent me on my way. While I was there another lady had a dead battery but needed to go to the ATM for cash to buy one...another employee used store jumper cables to get her going again...outstanding customer service all around!!

Unbelievable customer service. They checked my battery, alternator and starter. Then my battery terminal would not come off the post so they could replace my battery. Both employees busted knuckles and worked what seemed like an hour to get by battery out so the new one I purchased could be installed. Who ever the GM is of this store should be very proud of the employees working for there. They were superb!!! Thank you so much for your help and the accomplishment of today. They are worth a raise!!! Sincerely, Ronny Fort, Alachua resident.

Went to Advance Auto Parts for a simple battery replacement and the two guys that helped out..Bryan and Blake were amazing. They were extremely patient through our minimal knowlege and very kind ..will definitely be going back! These guys were awesome!

Windshield wiper came off on the highway, this was the closest store. Thank you Blake for attaching my new wiper properly in the rain, I really appreciate it! Back to the road.I would highly recommend this place for their above and beyond service.

Needed Rear view mirror kit..Big ole Bubba went out to 2 customers cars w a wheeled tool kit & helped them(:previously Bubbas lil bro said they could NOT help customers.I spent half an hr out in front trying to fix my rear view mirror w ole Bubba walking by me several times( I got NO HELP) KIT DIDNT WORK So went inside and both Bubba & lil bubba told me what I did wrong! Totally BS!

One of the worse customer service places ever been in.Was helping a friend replace her battery, this was not a leight battery plus I'm 66 years old. when I walked in there was only one person working the counter so I lifted the battery on the second counter and a sales rep with a red shirt came walking by and sat at the third counter and motioned to me to bring the battery to him God forbid him stopping and ask how can I help! after he tested the battery and said it was bad I asked him doesn't he have to charge the battery before testing he said the test said it was bad you can buy the battery somewhere else. believe me there won't be a next time. next time I'll stop at the new Auto Zone.

Went in because I noticed my headlight was out on my way home from work. Although Advanced Auto doesn't change out headlight bulbs, both Brian and Blake were helpful in giving direction for changing it out before I drove back to Gainesville. Thank you so much, and thank you to your friends for their patience.

I bought a battery here 1 year ago, I paid extra to have a 3 year warranty. I have to take it back . Now they cant find me in the system even thow they have all 3 of my phone# for the last 10 years. Now I have lost my warranty due to an employee that didn't do there job correctly, from over a year ago. I'm now forced to buy a new battery.

Usually always have the parts I need or can get them the same day or next. The reward program is good, seems like that I get a coupon after each visit.

Had them check batteries as thought they might be going bad. Guy was efficient, one was bad, was still under warranty so got it replaced. No hassle.

Adam L was extremely rude and unprofessional he immediately denied me customer service telling me that I was in the wrong store until I showed him the Google results and the address and explain to him that I had already spoken to someone about an available product he still denied that I spoke to that person until they arrived, thank God. Now that I can get my product he was very short and response with my questions as if I did something wrong also while checking out I had to witness he employees huddled together making fun of a previous customer who didnt understand much about his car/I thought this was very unprofessional unethical and very unpleasant

I can not give a lower rating. I stopped there because of a check engine lite and was treated like I was 3 years old. Finally got the codes and left. Will not visit that location ever again.
