Thought they could have done more. Turns out my problem was not my transmission. They did work and I thought the price was a little high. The shop looks a lot 3rd world, so I expected the pricing to be affordable. They came down a little.. We'd talked about a test drive so they could see the vibrations at certain speed ranges. They did not drive the car. The work they did helped somewhat. They did what they did and beyond that they said get an alignment...I knew that wasn't it.I figured out the rest myself. Turned out Seafoam in the throttle body solved the main problem...apparently it was running rich. So, what they did helped somewhat, and luckily I solved the rest for the price of a $13.99 can and 5 minutes of DIY. I guess I could have gotten robbed by another dishonest place, so it worked out well, all things considered.

Excellent service and experience working with Radwan at Ronnie s transmission. I needed a transmission rebuild on a 2013 Kia Sorrento (very few shops were willing to rebuild; most wanted to install a factory refurbished one) and had a small window of time that I could get it fixed Radwan went out of his way to repair the car in the time frame I needed. He is friendly, professional, and knows everything about transmissions. Highly recommend!!Service: Transmission

I previously wrote a favorable review for this business.My what a difference a few months make.I had my car towed there because the transmission that they installed in August of last year was beginning to fail.I never got a call. I was the one who, always, had to do the calling.After a couple days went by, during on of my calls, I was told, "I drove your car it's driving fine.". I was, also, told that if something is wrong that the work was out of warranty.When I picked up my car she road down 18th Street, NE from Rhode Island to Montana Ave before the transmission slipped.It was constant stop and go all the way to Upper Marlboro.The twenty mile trip took four hours to complete.I personally like Ronnie but truth matters.Buyers Beware.

Excellent service. Ronnie builds transmission and uses new parts. Transmission has 2 year warranty. It shifts smoothly. Quick turnaround within few days to a week.
