I've had an extremely disappointing experience with PassingGas Racing. I initially reached out on July 29th and have been seeking updates and clear communication since then. It wasn't until September 19th that we concluded, but unfortunately, the conclusion wasn't satisfactory.The communication process has been tedious. I had to continuously prompt Nelson for updates, estimates, and invoices. There were delays in responses and sometimes a lack of clarity which made the experience even more frustrating. Despite being charged almost a thousand dollars and waiting for months, the end result was unsatisfactory. My bike was not repaired properly, and the high beam headlights still do not work.While I understand that finding parts for certain models can be challenging, the overall communication and service left much to be desired. I genuinely hope that others don't face such delays and confusion in the future. I was looking forward to a seamless service, but sadly, that was not the case.In the end, I've spent a significant amount of money, time, and energy with little to show for it. I would strongly recommend potential customers to carefully consider their options before choosing PassingGas Racing for their needs.Service: Electrical repair

So I brought my 2009 Buell 1200R to Nelson, I wanted my swingarm replaced. The Buell is an interesting beast, the swingarm also serves to contain 2.5 quarts of the engine oil. Most mechanics are not familiar with its idiosyncracies and Nelson made sure to do his research prior to beginning work on my bike. Nelson installed my new swingarm, changed out the bearing, oil etc. and delivered my bike to me on Capitol Hill. Nelson is very professional and easy to deal with.

I ride a Daymak EM2 electric bike. I had a squeak in my back wheel that was driving me insane. Most mechanics dont want to work on these Chinese electric sport bike. Nelson looked at my bike & solved the problem. Planning on seeing him again when I'm ready for my battery upgrade.

I ride a 2017 Honda Rebel and recently had my bike serviced by Nelson, i was having issues with a stuck shift lever. He did a whole diagnostic on the bike, an oil change and adjusted the linkage on the pedal, fixing the issue. He did a great job and the bike felt brand new and rode great. I d recommend if you re looking for a conveniently located, efficient bike shop. Thanks Nelson!

Nelson is great! Super nice and knowledgeable dude. Got a front tire change on a 99 Harley Sportster. Did it well and efficiently. I ve been up to highway speeds since and it s well-balanced. Def recommend for general service and maintenance. I do most of my own work, but will be back when I m lacking tools/time. Also, he s just a pleasure to work with.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Called and spoke to Mr.Nelson , very professional great customer service and he was able to fix my bike in a timely manner. He also was very great in explaining what needed to be done and assisted with helping to order the parts (which most mechanics won t do).. Over all great service and even better prices .CHECK HIM OUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Services: Carburetor cleaning, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto detailing, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Can't say enough about how impressive my experience having my GSX-R repaired here was. Definitely knowledge about all types of bikes and willing to explain the process. I'm sold and definitely in for all my servicing needs. Thanks for your hard work Nelson!

Nelson is amazing! He s honest, professional, and a total natural when it comes to bikes. He s familiar with all types of bikes, and you can tell he has a passion for working on them and riding them. I plan to go to him for all my future motorcycle needs.

PassingGas Racing helped me out after some of the bigger places didn't return my calls. Mr. Nelson was friendly, flexible, and willing to do whatever was necessary to get my bike up and running again. He's trustworthy and I'd certainly go back to him in the future.

nelson certainly knows his stuff about all types of bikes. my carburetor on my klr 650 was gummed up and not idling properly. nelson went above and beyond to fix the bike and share his knowledge with a new rider. thanks so much nelson!

So I bought a new bike and I brought it to Nelson needing a carb cleaning job. Long story short the bike didn t run after I got it back, I turned it into another shop and they told me that the hoses were routed incorrectly, and the jets for the carbs were just sitting in the bowl.... not cool. I paid someone to to do pretty much nothing. On top of that, when I turned in my bike it was in pristine shape and when I got it back, there was a dent in the gas tank. Again not cool. Overall not happy with the service that I got here.Update: listen man I m a marine I have no reason to lie, the fact that you re calling me a liar shows the kind of person you are, and I m sure calling a dissatisfied customer a liar will look really good on you towards others. And we actually did strap it down correctly, the bike didnt move at all. Also I d like to point out that the dent was on the top close to the seat... there no way you dent a tank there by dropping the bike. Do you even have a business license, or a mechanic license, or business insurance, or even a lawyer? that d be a good point to bring up to somebody, illegal repair shop I think I might do that. Nice day tho!

I tried to get my bike worked on by these guys. They were happy to help, sort of. I tried to schedule an appointment and they had to reschedule me at the last minute. They never showed up to the second appointment to pick up my bike. They either don t want the business or can t handle it. Look elsewhere if you need work done in a reasonable time frame
