Quick and efficient! Fantastic communication, reasonable prices, and friendly service. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, give me a quote, and set to work with much less downtime than expected. I hit a patch of back ice on a turn and it really screwed up my tire. Most people thought it would take weeks to get it fixed. Nope! Had it towed to this shop on a friend's recommendation and it was done in no time! Even better, they were able to stick to the quoted price! I hope I don't have such a mishap again but I now know where I'm going when it's time for maintenance! No frills, straight to the point, no pushy sales pitches, get it in, and get it done!

I've taken my vehicles there for 5+ years for a range of issues small and large and each time they're rates have been reasonable, they are honest and have always gotten jobs in a timely manner. A great local business! Particular thanks to Jason, German, the incredible mechanics and the owner Noah. Grateful for you!

I was quoted $9,300 for an engine replacement just after Christmas. When I was ready to pay for the repair, the shop had undergone a change in management. Sadly, the new manager was incredibly arrogant and dismissive and raised the price by $2,500.When I told him that I was quoted $9,300 previously (2 weeks prior), he told me that he saw that $9,300 was the documented estimate for the repair noted in their records but since the former manager didn t leave a note about what to charge me, he wasn t going to honor it. Even though he confirmed that the price I gave was their standard rate. He said that the cost for fluids for the new engine necessitated the up-charge of $2,500.The car was already there and didn t run. He probably thought he had me over a barrel and that I would cave. I didn t. We paid the $80 diagnostic fee and left! I had the car towed to another shop (who specializes in engines) who put in a brand new engine for only two-thirds of the ORIGINAL quote.Old Ox Tire and Auto prides themselves on repeat business. Well, I am a former loyal customer who found a new mechanic home - and I could not be happier.To the continued loyal customers: good luck navigating the new management - you might want to get a second opinion just to be sure you aren t being duped. If you need a referral, I got you!

THE BEST MOST HONEST. First of all they are all very jovial. The dealership had said my trunk needed a new pump and it would be $500. These guys reset some programming for me and so reset it for FREE. Amazing! The kind of car place I thought was just a dream!? Amiright?

Great customer service, fair pricing, reasonable turnaround time! I dropped my vehicle off for an oil change and it was completed really quickly and they put air in my tires! I didn t ask them too, but it is apparently a part of their policy. Since I was about to make a long drive I really appreciated this little detail.

5 stars across the board! Friendly service, accommodating to questions, a no nonsense approach to pricing, and as great of an experience with my car breaking down on a road trip as could be!Minivan broke down driving from Virginia to Philly, alternator. The shop was able to get us in no problem and have the car up and running, same day! It was a great shop, their pricing is up on a screen in the walk in area, and overall straightforward quick and professional. Mechanic didn t charge an arm and a leg, and the van made it. Highly recommend if you re local, passing through or anything in-between. Go check them out today, and a small local business as well!

I can t thank them enough for helping me fill up my tires!! I ve been trying to find somewhere for weeks that has a pressure gauge until someone recommended this shop. I m not well versed on car mechanics and Mario was patient and very helpful with giving me info on how to keep my tires healthy and full. I will definitely be bringing my car here for my routine service as well.

Great service and reasonable prices. My car died 36 hours before I was supposed to be out of state. Although they were already booked up, they made the effort to get the car in and get us ready to go in time for travel. Highly recommend.

The guys were very friendly and quick service! My oil change took no time at all! They also did a full inspection on my vehicle and shared the profile with me so I know what needs my car has and in order of importance, photos as well. They also made sure I understood everything before I left! Wonderful shop!

We've gone to Old Ox for various things for years - new tires, punctured tires, weird sounds, questions about body damage. Everyone we've worked with is really helpful, kind, communicates clearly, has helped us answer questions without charging, and then rates were really reasonable when we've had work done. Can't recommend them enough!

I can t recommend this place more! They took care of us and went above and beyond what they needed to do when it came to my wife s car after it was stolen. When found we had it take to them to get an honest evaluation on the damages.We have used them a few times for repairs and they are honest, trust worthy and easy to work with.Again HIGHLY recommend! I would give them more starts if I could.

This shop is always A+. Never a hassle and no annoying upsell. When they tell you you need something YOU NEED IT. They ordered my tires, called me when they came in, were flexible with the schedule, and had them on and ready within the same day! I go here because of the trust, convenience, and peace of mind.

I woke up and had an emergency break situation,everyone was saying they couldn't take me for 3 or 4 days. I called Jason and he was like yeah bring it in early and we'll get it done.. I loved the way that they worked on the vehicle keeping me informed by text of the progress and sent me pictures about problems that my vehicle was having and things that needed to be done beyond the brakes. This shop did a wonderful job with my 2012 Cadilllac SRX ( oldie but still goodie). They explained everything that was done and why it was done, the pricing is fair, and the service was quick- I had a lot done! Will definitely bring my dinosaur back!

I don t take my car anywhere else. They always talk me through the diagnostic and are transparent about every step - including pricing. These guys are great. Always honest, capable, exceedingly communicative, and always willing to do what it takes (and not do what is not necessary). One of my favorite things is the images they send along with their diagnostic tests that show you what it looks like up close to you can make an informed decision about what works needs to be done and what has time. I regularly go to Old Ox & Tire for routine car maintenance. They are friendly and efficient. They work with my schedule and provide a thorough explanation/report of services performed. Old Ox are great mechanics. 1) They have done a great job on my normal car repairs and maintenance - and they are always fast. 2) They stuck by me through an incredibly difficult to figure out intermittent starter problem. Like my car was possessed by a ghost. And they kept at it until they figured it out. When they got stumped Jason took my car to the dealership himself to see if they could help identify the problem - and then they fixed it based on their recommendations. They didn't charge me for this either as their initial work had a warranty. This was incredibly good service and I really appreciate their work.

GREAT experience! I ve been really nervous for a while to find a new mechanic because I was afraid that the mechanics would upcharge me and try to convince me of lots of unnecessary repairs. I did not feel that way AT ALL after coming here! I was able to review all the issues that the team at Old Ox found and make informed decisions about what to take care of. I ll be coming back here for all my car needs and sharing with all my friends in the city!

Great auto repair shop. Great customer service. Great communication, work done in a timely fashion. They actually show you pictures of problems found when inspecting your car before they do the work. I will come back for all my car repair work.

These guys do a great job! As a 20 something year old woman, I was nervous about getting up-charged, but when I just asked for the most basic oil change, that s exactly what I got! I didn t have to worry about them trying to do work on my car that I wasn t ready to pay for. The folks at Old Ox do great quality work at a reasonable price. It s good to know that Old Ox so close to school, and I will definitely recommend them to other students!Service: Oil change

I love having Old Ox in our neighborhood. They have done great work on our cars, and did us a huge favor a few days ago when our car wouldn't start a few blocks away, they came right over and jumped it, saving us an hours-long wait for AAA. I really appreciated them helping us out in a tough spot!

I was looking for a place that would care for my car and found it. Jason listened to my concerns, addressed my issues and educate me about my car which is important for me as a single mom of 4. My car was not safe to drive, it was shaking like a salt shaker. They fixed my car, it drive so smooth now. They worked me which I appreciate so much. They are affordable. They follow up with me to ensure my car was doing well which is a plus. Ox Team is simply amazing and I know my car is in great care.
