Dante and his team service my vehicle regularly. They do a great job and are always my first choice. Recently, they got me in for my scheduled service even after I was very late dropping my vehicle off. Glad to have them and Metro Motor in my neighborhood.

Quality & speedy service! My car broke down Saturday night. I got my car towed there & delivered the keys to my vehicle Monday night & it was fixed by Tuesday afternoon. They broke down the prices and all parts I would need without any confusion. I m not originally from the area so I was weary about taking my car anywhere. Dontaye made sure I was in good hands, I ll definitely be back!

I have visited this establishment on several occasions and have consistently been impressed with the quality of their services. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist customers. They are honest and transparent about their pricing, and will inform customers if there are no issues that require repair. The prices are reasonable and competitive. I will continue to patronize this establishment due to their exceptional service and reliability.

I called 2-3 days ahead and made an appointment for a Saturday morning right when they open. When I arrived, nobody from the service team was there. I wanted for 30 minutes and nobody showed up. They had my contact information from the appointment, but nobody reached out to let me know whether there was an issue with my scheduled appointment.

Metro Motor does a good job. Dontaye is easy to work with. We ve done business several times and he is always prompt, polite, and professional. This time I brought my car in for a coolant leak the day after Christmas. He quickly gave me a quote over the phone, after a bit of haggling over parts he was able to bring the price down even further than I had expected. After that we had the car back in working order in a few days. In general, car repairs can be frustrating, but it s not so bad when you have a good mechanic.

I used to go to Distad's down the street, and they provided good overall service. Metro Motors bought them and the difference is noticeable. They over-promise time by a lot (took a week longer than it should have), the price has gone up, and they're less capable now (not sure if they lost good techs, or if they're just overworking their guys to push more cars through, but they don't diagnose problems reliably anymore).

Dontae was so helpful! Replaced my starter in one day and helped cut costs when he figured out I didn t need a new battery. I m impressed with how quick they were!

It was a pleasure doing business with Metro Motor. My engine overheated, I tried to several dealerships but the were booked out for two months. The AAA tow truck driver that towed my truck suggested Metro Motor. He gave them a very high recommendations.I had my truck towed there. The manager Dontaye was very professional and knowledgeable of my situation. He did a diagnostic and communicated his findings. He searched to find cheaper parts and ordered them. He gave me an estimate date when the repairs would be completed. He also said his mechanics stayed after hours one night to ensure that the repairs would be done on time. I am satisfied with the communication and repairs. I would recommend Metro Motor to my family and friends.

Dontaye was super helpful when my car was towed to his shop with a damaged tire rim and 2 flat tires. He was able to get everything fixed in a day and a half and kept me abreast of the whole situation. I couldn t be happier with his service!

If you're looking for a new auto shop, check out Metro Motor on Pennsylvania and 12th St SE...they took good care of my 11yo baby yesterday...their tire supplier even took an extra $40 off my new Kumho tires which I wasn't expecting! (They also have $99 tires by Lancaster and Dilente if you're interested) Also got a great deal on an oil change as a new customer. And the customer service was amazing...the Manager, Dontae, called a Lyft to take me to work and when my car was ready, he sent another Lyft to pick me up!! They do everything, so there's no need for me to go back to the dealer ever again!! They also have coupons on their website, so print them out before you go!

Came in for an oil change, dropped off my car in the morning and got it back at around noon. I had asked if they could take a photo of the cap (for sludge/other residue) and I also asked them to save a sample of the oil in a mason jar I brought so I could get the oil tested for engine wear (I was concerned about the oil change interval affecting my engine). They had no problem taking the photo/saving me an oil sample and I really appreciated that. I would typically expect a level of condescension/judgement from other shops for asking more nit picky stuff but I didn t get that here. They charge a lot for a full synthetic change (I think it was ~$115 after tax) but for the DC area and for peace of mind for something as expensive as a car I don t think it s outrageous. They also filled up my tires/reset my oil clock. I don t think they expect tips, but I really appreciated how patient they were with all my questions and extra requests so I gave it to Dantaye and he told me he would give it to the guy who actually worked on my car, which was nice reassurance that this is an honest shop.

Great place to get an oil change. The have a very easy system where you just drop off in the morning and then pick up after they re ready or whenever you can swing by after work. It s really convenient since they re near the metro and have extended evening hours.
