Sherlock is a wonderful mechanic. He is thorough and he takes his time. He is not someone who works within the confines of a timeframe so your appointment time is merely a suggestion. Upon his arrival, he changed my brakes in less than 30 minutes. The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be using him again.

We needed our front brake pads changed. I don t usually do this but since I am inconvenienced and now have two repairs instead of one because of the mechanic, I feel I should let people know. First, the app that schedules his appointments put him at our house four hours late two nights in a row. The first night he lost a lug nut from one of our tires and said it was missing already which was not true. He also seemed high and got really upset when I moved his orange cone a little so my neighbor could get into his driveway at midnight. My husband bought the wrong brake pads and they were Duralast which the mechanic does not like to use. He offered to get the brake pads for us and return the next day to put them on. Our appointment was for 5 pm and he arrived at 9 pm. He changed the left front brake pads but said he could not get the tire off of the right tire because the lug nut was stripped. I have no way to prove that he stripped it but we have never had that problem before. He said we could take the car to the dealership to get the lug nut fixed and then call him back to change the other brake pad. If we could afford to take our car to the dealership, we would not be standing in the street in the cold in the middle of the night with a perfect stranger. The odd thing is that he asked to be paid in advance which he did not ask for the night before. So, he had been paid but was not able to complete the job. So, we are screwed. We ll have to pay for the lug nut to be fixed and for someone else to change the brake pad. It was silly of us to go on blind faith and hope that people will be on the up and up and professional. Sometimes when you re in a tight situation you hope for the best. This experience was terrible from the long wait times, the lost and stripped lug nut and his somewhat erratic behavior.

Sherlock was such a helping hand in a last moments needed service!! He was so professional!! He was the only mechanic that would come to me at 3AM, such a life saver!!! I will use him again for future services and I feel content referring him to friends and family. He s honest and a hard worker, he didn t try to upscale the rate at all.

I had a 30 year old car that needed a fuel pump replaced. The amazing mechanic came out and got it running again and he was awesome in his work!! I would use him again because he works hard !! Thanks for your help brother!!

This is a very good mechanic. Prices are reasonable. The only issue I have with his is his timing. If he tells you he will be there at 4:00pm he will show up almost at midnight to look at your vehicle. Always tell you what his GPS says. Always a strong odor of weed too . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL especially when you recommend to your friends and family and they say the same thing.

I thought I was in the twilight zone with the rambling & ultimately wasted 15 minutes of my time just to tell me he wouldn t replace a part on my car. Kept mentioning that I had a Duralast starter when I said multiple times that it was a Totalpro starter. Find someone else if you want better customer service & less rude & argumentative interaction.*the issue is you re rude, condescending & seem to routinely waste people s time by rambling on beyond what s necessary & trying to have the last word instead of learn & be better. And while offering to drive someone to return/exchange a product is a good gesture, repeatedly demanding & getting angry when it s declined bc you re a random person off the internet, is creepy.

He definitely came later than expected time. Once I was pass my new person shenanigans...HE IS THE TRUTH.........My Work truck stopped working on side of road. This is the second time I use him to work on my vehicle. Great work happy to find a auto repair person that is honest; trustworthy and very reliable his prices are very reasonable.I contacted him the day before and he working on my vehicle the next day. Honest, trustworthy and smart mechanic. Very convenient - we called and he came to us within 1 day to fix our taillight. His busy schedule implies he is clearly popular; Sherlock s schedule can cause some delay in getting to your address but he still was able to come see us when we needed our car fixed today. If you want to avoid a sleazy car repair store and receive honest & quality service - call Sherlock ASAP!

Granted, my car was very problematic and needed to be sold but I tried to fix it obviously. He had a horrible attitude and a slick mouth. I don t regret trying to fix a lost cause but my money in his pocket was not worth it. Unprofessional.Edit : Your need to reply and get last word is tough. I don t care if you want to work with people, just like you don t care that I thought you were rude. I didn t even mention how you re always late. I never said I needed special treatment and everyone paying you deserves a level of respect and then obviously it s returned. I promise you are not the only mechanic in the DMV. Woe is you .

Communication was at an all time low. And when times and schedules were communicated, they weren t upheld.I ve attempted to reach this guy for 3 days now, just so he could possibly complete the job (a diagnostic) he told me he would complete. So now my car is still taken apart, sitting in a parking space that it ll get towed from bc he never showed back up or responds.I called on a starter replacement which was completed after 3 days of no-shows even though I had an appointment. I found out the starter wasn t the problem so he recommended a diagnostic for the next solution.After a half diagnostic (he couldn t find the issue), he promised to return the next day. This was 3 days ago and he hasn t returned or responded, regardless of the multiple times I reached out.Conclusion: I would expect a lot more communication from a mechanic and I would stay far away unless I had the simplest of issues.

Don't waste your time!!!! I wanted a pre-inspection on a truck I was looking at buying. I contacted him and he said no problem. I drove almost 2 hours in the pouring down rain and he didn't show. I called him and he said he would be there in 50 minutes. An hour went by and still no show. Called again and another excuse about where he was and how he would be there in an hour. Don't waste your time. Find someone else.

The WORST MECHANIC IN DMV !!!! He will overcharge you for parts and half do the work. He will mess your car up more and then want you to pay extra. The worst in the business. Legal matters will be pursued

Needed him for an emergency alternator job which was hard to do came threw and fixed it with no problem even gave me a bolt I needed or the job wouldn't have got done and diagnosed more problems I had that I never new was going on great job
