WARNING: HIRE THIS NEGLIGENT AND DISHONEST BUSINESS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!I am reaching out because I need help, I need to contact someone in charge about customer interaction and damaged property from Firestone on Joint Base Anacostia Bolling.I d been to this store before and it was convinient, professional, and I d never encountered a problem before this. This store damaged my car by leaving the window down during a 3 day storm, in the heat then initially did nothing to fix the damages and sent me away.Weeks later management promised to reimburse me to fix the damage.After refusing to open a case and go through the appropriate claims process their solution of a detailing cleaning didn t actually fix the damages. Though they never mentioned in the promises of a reimbersment that I have to sign a release and drop the case. The damage was too sever to be fixed with just a cleaning, so I can t sign a release to accept payment, but now I have personally paid for a repairs that didn t fix damage caused by the store, and the damage still persists. They refuse to reimburse. All this dragged out since Sep 2023, and ive since then deployed to germany as a service member now with extreme limitations on what I can do to resolve this.UPDATE: I went into further detail with the inbox they drop at the bottom of these reviews. Complete waste of time and just more run around.Letting this company touch my car was a horrible mistake now costing me immeasurable amounts of time, money and my once good condition vehicle that I just needed a change of tires on.

Not sure what happened to this location. All of a sudden enerytime I call or they ask me for info at the register to check in they can't find me.Dropped of car last 2 times in the morning for simple things, called in the afternoon to ensure it's ready and they didn't start working on it yet.Had them do an alignment since I have free alignments for life and check fluids. Below is what they did to brand new rack & pinion boots after a $1500+ replacement job from Nissan. Next were the fluids, cashier told me nothing wrote down in the notes so all my fluids are good. Brought my car back to Nissan for another job and they showed me all my fluids needed to be flushed, coolant dirty, brake fluid dirty, transmission fluid dirty. Thank God I had to go back to this firestone might have killed my baby who turned 20 last year!

The staff was extremely professional and helpful with their recommendations and alerting me to items regarding my tires that I was unaware of. I would definitely return for service, as well as, recommend this location to others.

Made and confirmed my appointment for an oil change. When I arrived, I was told they had to order my oil and filter. It took 3.5 hours for an oil change. If someone confirms their appointment and tells you the make and model of the car over the phone, please have the equipment you need to perform the work PRIOR to their arrival.

** DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE GOOD REVIEWS THIS SHOP HAS ** Those reviews are likely from the workers' relatives.If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. I did not want to bring my Mercedes to this shop in the first place because of the bad reviews, but the car overheated on the base and unfortunately I did not have any other choice at that time.They checked it out and quoted me $5060.00 to fix the following: Thermostat Housing, Water Pump, Belt Idler Pulleys, Belt Tensioner, and the Engine Belt. Fortunately, I do have some experience with cars so I knew it was a scam once they said the price.I got my car towed to another shop over in Alexandria, VA, which is only about 15 mins away. They did EXACTLY same service, replacing EXACTLY same parts for $2000. Blows my mind how this shop is allowed to be operating on this base, robbing people in broad daylight.Saddest thing is, once they told me the price I asked to talk to the manager in order to negotiate a reasonable price because towing the car is not very convenient from the base. I talked to her and she is the rudest not just a manager, but an employee I have ever talked to. She said and I quote "Well if you don't like our prices, you can take your car to another place" in a very not friendly voice, and that's exactly what I did, took it to another place and got it fixed for less than half of the price this Firestone quoted me.I legitimately feel bad for anybody who doesn't have much experience with cars and will believe what this "shop" will quote them. So please, DO NOT take your car here.I will definitely report my experience to the MWR of this base and hope that they will take appropriate measures to at minimum change the management of this place.

Dropped my vehicle off for an oil change and tire rotation at 10am. Finally got my truck back at 5pm. Longest my vehicle has EVER had to be at a Firestone location for this service. I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

It's a hit and miss! But let's be realistic, there is no other option unless you want to drive 20-40 minutes anywhere. That is if you are lucky not to get stuck in traffic. Considering Firestone is the only viable option for those who live on base, it's not bad.

Wish I could leave zero stars.Brought my car in because of a coolant leak. Asked if they could find the leak and just tell me where it was. They came back hours later saying the car needed two new heater hoses, a new thermostat, and a new head gasket. Then, they quoted me a price that was literally higher than the value of the car. When I said I couldn t afford it they offered financing . Still charged me ~$30 for looking at it; not confident they even did.Took the car to a mechanic I trusted and sure enough, the clamp on one of the heater hoses had come loose. Super simple and cheap repair.I truly do not understand how people can be this corrupt.

Awesome customer service from Bryant, Eric, and the team tonight. Came out of work late to a flat tire. The team found a six inch nail in the sidewall of my tire, but in less than an hour i had a new tire and was on my way home! Thank you!

After standing at the counter for 15 mins watching the employees chat in the back I walked around the building to the garage to ask when the counter would reopen. I then received an attitude that they were open. I then walked back around the building to be helped, in that time a young woman ended up ahead of me, it was 1:57pm she had a 2pm appointment to which the lady at the counter (that I had to interrupt from her conversation in the garage) notified her they were too busy for her appointment even though it was made 3 days prior. I then got to the counter to buy a battery? I needed it for a project, the store had it what I needed in stock however I was told she would not sell me a battery because I was not putting it I a car. I acknowledged that I understood that I could not return the battery I was comfortable buying the battery knowing it could not be returned. I was told oh no that s not how this is going to go, if you can t show me the car you can t buy the battery . I was unaware I was talking to the battery police, left went to Walmart, payed less and got what I needed. AVOID AT ALL COST, TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Had an appointment to change my tires, which I just did at the location a few months ago. Showed up to a new and very rude service manager who refused to help me. Please take your business elsewhere-I know it s convenient if you live or work on base-but you can do better

I pre coordinated to get an oil change and have my brakes and tires replaced. I dropped the car off at 8 am and asked for it back by 4 pm. At 11 am I called and no work was started. After 1 they called to update me on the brakes and gave me a price twice as high as I was quoted with no additional work being done. After discussing this with the worker and manager they finally admitted to adding extra labor ($500+ of extra labor). At 230 pm they said it would be done in an hour and a half. I got there a 530 and they said it would be another 45 minutes. I finally got my car back at almost 6 pm. Awful, awful customer service. I truly believe they tried to cheat me out of 500 dollars and then punished me by taking 10 hours to do simple maintenance.

I live and work on base and I am in here often - not for the Auto Care center, but in general. I've stopped and chatted with the guys and gals here and there. I finally used the Auto Care center today (19Feb20) and tell you what - I am not disappointed. I spoke with a few people and everyone was great. I bought new tires (TireRack) for my sisters car, delivered to my house, and had them installed here. Tell you what, I will be back. I'm nothing but impressed (especially if you know the stigma that normally comes with anything "on base".)I'm down. I highly recommend service here based on my single time having service done. Tires were installed in the correct direction, inflated to my specifications, and nothing was dirty, broken, lost, or otherwise.

Got my vehicle serviced at this location today. Michelle provided great customer service. She has a great attitude, friendly, knowledgeable, offered recommendations alternatives to address identified maintenance issues. I will definitely make this my go to spot for maintenance services. Very pleased.

This might be the worst Firestone on Earth! Customer service is great but service is horrendous. Dropped my truck at 8am only to pick up end of day with no work done, apparently couldn t get around to it. Booked another appt, turned down at check-in bc mechanic called out sick. Brought another time, scheduled for 8 for a 2-hr job, came back at 3, wasn t complete until 5 (this happened twice!). Got new brakes and rotors, back to squealing within a week.Only reason I continue to come here is bc of the convenience of dropping and walking 2 blocks to work. Going forward, I ll accept the inconvenience of taking it elsewhere.

Other reviews are pretty accurate. I dropped my car off at 9 am and told them I'd be back at 4 pm. Even called the day prior to see if they could fit me in. They said it wouldn't be a problem. Called me at 3:30 pm and said it'd be ready between 430-5 because they didn't prioritize well. I showed up at 5 and it STILL wasn't ready. Didn't leave until 530 and they didn't even check the alignment which was supposed to be done for free since I just bought tires. They said I could come back and it get it done later. Absolutely not. The employees were nice but punctuality is professional. Not making customers wait an hour and half after they had SEVEN hours to do it.

So, I don't have a problem with the people being rude but i do have a HUGE problem with their time management. I made an appointment with them and have been waiting for 5, going on six hours. I'm not sure that it takes 6 hours to put tires on but I am not an expert. I mean, I've done it at the junk yard a few times and doing four tires with a cheap tool with none of the fancy tools took me two hours. Might as well do that next time.I only give it a two because the people were nice. If time management been better, I would give a five.

PROS: Located on base adjacent to exchange, commissary, and fitness center. Very friendly and personable staff.CONS: Timing. I had an appointment and from dropping of my vehicle to having keys in hand it was over 3.5 hours for a tire rotation and oil change. Manager noted they were short staffed that day. I would have gladly rescheduled given notice.I will probably come back given it's location near work, but will aim for early morning appointment or drop it off and leave it all day rather than wait.

Wife took our van to Firestone after a tire went flat. Ramon quoted her $600 for 2 tires and kept telling her it was unsafe to drive and the tires tread was dangerously low. He didn't feel safe with her driving 1 mile back home on 25 mph roads. The tries were only a year old with tons of tread left, nowhere near the treadwear indicator on the tire. Super dishonest and predatory tactics. Do NOT recommend.

I have used Firestone at the Bolling AFB location several times. Each time I ve had an appointment and never was seen at that appointment time. Currently, I am at the same location with an appointment time of 0800 hours (8:00am). Two hours and thirty eight minutes later, they finally pulled my vehicle in the shop to work on it.The only reason why I think they started my car is because I happened to go outside to get some fresh air and saw my car still sitting in the same spot that I parked it in. I went to the clerk to get a status of my vehicle for them to say Oh, we are pulling it in the shop now . I think they forgot about me until I said something to them. This is unsat and something needs to be done about this.

Excellent same day service. Been here twice and had no problems. Additionally, when I had to go to another Firestone due to emergent tire repair (JBAB didn t have the right tire), the store manager called the other location and sorted out an issue with my warranty. Thanks, Noble!

Ok experience. Took my truck in to have two tires replaced. The first day they didn t do the work at all. Very odd. The new manager on shift apologized and offered to make it right the next day if I brought the truck back in. They did. I had to ask for another valve stem cover that was left off of the tires when I went to pick it up and there was grease all over the truck rims but at least the job got done. Convenient location on Bolling.

Brought in a vehicle for an oil change at 0930. I was told it would be about a 2 hour wait and they would call me when it was completed. I didn't receive a call and by 1400 I reached out to them. They told me that the vehicle still is not ready but they are bringing it into the bay now for the oil change. I arrived at the Firestone at 1500 and was told again that they are just now bringing it into bay. Finally got my vehicle finished at 1520. The employee explained to me that they got backed up unexpectedly after I dropped the vehicle off. At the counter when I was checking out the mechanic came back out to ask for the keys because he left his rachet under the hood of the vehicle after he pulled it around to the front. When he dropped the keys back off to me he had the missing rachet cresent wrench in hand. At the check out counter the customer service representative asked if I had a number he could fax the receipt because he was having troubles printing it. Was finally able to walk out of the store with receipt in hand at 1530.
