They fix my scooter the very next day. I have had to replace the tires several times and finally decided to go with solid tires and these folks were the only ones I could find anywhere who could put the new solid tires on. At $222 to replace both tires, it is high, but also in line with all the other repair places around. When I look at the time cost of having to drive an hour, each way to my son school to pick up the scooter, get it repaired, take it back to him, it is well worth it to me, to have this thing finally fixed properly and functional again.These people know, scooters better than anybody else I ve ever met, and even were able to take care of a bent, brake rotor, that I didn t even know it was a problem. Kudos to them for the awareness and assistance getting that fixed too.I appreciate the quality work they do!

Great customer service, fair prices, good location, and pretty nice scooters. We had an issue with 1, but were compensated for our minor troubles. We really enjoyed touring the city by scooter and will rent from them again!

We had an amazing experience with e-Mile. We rented scooters to see the monuments and our 8 year old son was having a hard time with the balance of the scooter. they worked with us and rented us a seated option go around in. The guys who run this are thoughtful and wonderful. We had so much fun we may go back again before our trip is up! I highly recommend- especially if you have never rented (or used) a scooter before.

Fast repair service with friendly initial contact. However, no careful and conscientious handling of other people s property at all. E-Scooter was completely scratched and damaged in many places. Some damage is completely incomprehensible! Insight and understanding for this from the management was completely out of place. If you value careful handling of your property stay away from this store!Very interesting and aggressive answer, but unfortunately not unrecognizable from the other recessions. This is a real way to scare away customers and your reputation.

Frankly, I m surprised by the negative reviews. I was so satisfied by the repair of one of our scooters that I brought in our second scooter a week later. Both were fixed within a day, I experienced professional and courteous service, and received text updates on the status of the repairs. Moreover, the quotes for repairing my blown out tires were spot on. It was an all around great experience BOTH times.

I would not recommend this company to service or repair scooters. My roommate and I have an electric scooter that we need to get to and from work she brought it to this merchant because the scooter presented with an error message. The technician diagnosed the problem and said it can easily be fixed with a new part. They took apart the scooter and said that they would order the necessary part a week went by and we had to reach out to them for an update as none was provided. They said that actually they couldn t find the necessary part and couldn t complete the repair. Fine or so we thought. We asked when the scooter could be picked up to which they shared that the scooter was not ready yet and they had to put it back together. After WEEKS of not hearing from them, my roommate just showed up to the repair shop to pickup the scooter since they couldn t make the repair. It turns out that the technician misplaced a part which the scooter was in their care and now our scooter wires are exposed all around the motor and tire. The kickstand is also non-functional and appears broken, which was not present prior to dropping off the scooter to their care. This experience was very disheartening from the lack of communication, to false hope, to poor service now the scooter is leaving their shop with more damage than it was wheeled in with.

Great experience at this scooter repair store. The owner was extremely courteous, professional, and very easy to talk to. My scooter had some minor repairs but the owner assured me that they could fix it up in a timely manner. Within a week, my scooter was all fixed up with brand new equipment. The prices were fair and reasonable - I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of, which is common in the repair industry.Overall, I highly recommend this repair shop to anyone in need of scooter repairs. The owner is top-notch and really knows their stuff. Thanks again for the great service!

Very poor service. They changed my handle bar and returned my scooter without assembling. I requested to give the tool at least I can do it myself but he said he don t have a tool to fix the rear wheel bolts.Here is the proof how I received my Ebike and they charged $50 for not doing anything.

A+. We rented two electric scooters and did the baggage check as well, and everything went amazing and was best choice to see so much in one day. Lauren who we dealt with was also fantastic with anwsering all our questions, plus gave us a demo of the scooters first. Would highly recommend to friends or anyone.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! $260 to replace the tires (2 for $30 on Amazon). They claim it takes 5+ hours to change the tires. It may take time to heat the tires so they become more pliable, but I don t believe for a moment that it takes anybody five hours to change the tires when I watched the guys at the lawnmower, repair place change out one tire in about 10 minutes.Seems like a scam.

Mobility scooter was helpful to get around the national mall, fair price and good service. Highly recommend using the delivery. Great value, but battery lasted less than was communicated though.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They did very poor labor on my scooter. The rear tire and brakes were loose. It could cause an accident. They also reset the odometer without my consent or asking (did they change the motor or the battery?)Also the customer service they give is very bad and it's very expensive for the kind of labor they did in my scooter.Don't waste your money here.

Used E-Mile s services to drop our bags off during our White House visit (you re not allowed to bring bags on the tour). The reservation was easy to make and when we got there, Lawrence was prompt in getting us situated and sending us on our way. Would recommend their services!

Lousy service and communication. I don t recommend to fix here. They threw my tires without communication. They should think concept. Tires were pretty new. And they didn t know how to fix broke part. NEVER GO THERE ANYMORE.

Waited 2 weeks for my repair understandable, got it back 2 hours later my back tire was falling apart took it back the next day, and I got back the next day just the tire to come off the rim

The bad reviews are REAL!!! I m surprised that other people experienced the same thing as I did. I mean just look at the way the owner comments on those bad reviews, their ATTITUDES say everything. I should have looked up on the comment section before wasting my time there. First of all, there was no communication, not until when they tell you to come and get your scooter (several weeks later) with the price are way above the initial price. NO COMMUNICATION VIA TEXT OR PHONE AT ALL! To be honest, I would agree to pay the price you told me that is higher than the initial but please adjust your attitude, especially when there is NO communication established.

I brought my electric scooter in for brake adjustments for both tires. My scooter is brand new and I only had it for 3 weeks. After leaving my scooter I came back a couple of days later where the were saying I needed new brake pads. Brake cables and something else. I told them to go ahead and fix the scooter. It s been 3 weeks now and they will not return phone calls, emails and won t answer the phone. Very bad customer service and their technicians do not seem to be certified as they claim. I m going to go get my scooter and take to a reliable shop.

Highly recommend - my son and I walked in to the shop and were greeted by the friendly shop manager (owner?) who quickly lined us up with scooters, gave us a tutorial and sent us on our way. About 30 minutes into the ride, I wasn t feeling well (likely dehydrated due to travel) so had to stop. I called the shop and he came within 10 minutes and picked up the scooters and offered to help in any way. I told him he could charge us the full amount since it had nothing to do with the scooters, but he did not charge us anything. Great customer service and I would highly recommend. Hope to have another chance to use E-mile the next time we are in DC.

Awesome experience! Great customer service. They made it super easy for a walk-in scooter rental. Their prices were the best in that area. Definitely worth every penny. The scooters worked great without any issues. Highly recommend.

We have rented from E-mile two years in a row. These scooters were perfect for our family of four. We didn't have to search for a group of them, they held a charge all day, no phone app was needed, the service was on point each day(rented two days in a row) and the price was good. We WILL be back! Oh, they now have cup holders and a built in phone charger!

I'm torn on how I feel about this place. I live 120 miles away. I brought in my Apollo Explore and told them to fix the breaks and put on some tubeless tires. When I got home I told all my fellow Apollo nerds about my experience on a Facebook Fan Page. One response was a potential red flag. The person said my model doesn't take tubeless tires. Hmm. If true I wondered if E-Mile knew this. Communication between the scooter store and me was fair at best. Then again I thought I did a good job staying out of their way assuming it's D.C. and they could get super busy. One text I got from E-Mile pretty much said "back to the drawing board". Red flag? Well in 3 weeks I got THE text saying it was ready. Cool beans. I made the trip on a Saturday morning showing up at 8am. They were there but not open. I was an hour early. Obviously excited. They were nice enough to open up, handover my scooter and allowed me to cruise DC for a test drive. I hit up the Washington Monument, US Capitol and headed back. On the way back I'm starting to notice my rear tire wobbling more than it should. A similar problem it had prior to visiting E-Mile. One employee there tried tightening up things but that didn't work. Emiles advice was, hang out until their tech shows up. Well I was on a tight schedule and had to bounce. I ended up paying them a couple hundred bones, but for what? A wobbly a$$ tire, that's what. IF I lived in D.C. or closer, I'm more than confident they would've worked with me. I'm understanding in that aspect cause I can tell they were genuinely great folks but still paying for a scooter that wasn't properly fixed made me leave there a not happy.

They fixed my scooter perfectly and quickly. The manufacturer had been giving me the runaround and was trying to upcharge me big time but E-Mile responded to my texts right away and sent me some helpful follow-up information. Definitely recommend them if you're in the DC area and need your scooter tuned up.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THIS IS THE BEST COMPANY TO WORK WITH! We were hot and tired and exploring with a 14 month old. We took a chance, made the call, and within minutes, they delivered 4 scooters to us! This is the BEST way to sight see in DC!

Beware false quotes for repairs and aggressive post-repair behavior to force you to pay significantly more than was quoted. My scooter repair bill was 250% of what I agreed to pay when I dropped the scooter off. They made me buy my own parts directly. The quote was for labor only. I came back 4 times over a period of weeks, each time with E-Mile owner telling me the scooter was fixed, which was some sort of repeated miscommunication with the mechanic. Finally the fourth time when it wasn t fixed and they quoted me even more work, I tried to pull the plug and find another repair shop. That s when they hit me with a bill that was over the value of the scooter itself, and threateningly positioned themselves between me and the door and repeatedly said they wouldn t let me leave the shop without paying. Not even leave empty handed. I couldn t leave at all. I negotiated the bill down, but the entire experience was obnoxious and predicated on lies about repair cost and timeline. I recommended this place to a friend (in the middle of my repair experience, when I thought things were going well) and my friend had a similar experience with his bill. I would absolutely not recommend this shop for repair work. My scooter is still broken and I m out hundreds of dollars in labor and parts that probably weren t needed in the first place.

Rented scooters for a city tour of DC-- WOW! They were so much faster (and in much better condition) than the public kind you have to hunt for on the sidewalks. Bonuses like water bottle holders and and a phone mount at perfect height/angle so that we could follow map directions hands-free. Love that helmets are included with the rental, too. We were able to cover a lot of ground to sightsee, made the best use of the limited time we had! Highly recommend renting these scooters for safety, speed and value.
