Great experience. I brought my car in at 10:30-ish on a Friday when they were very busy (I know I should I have brought it in earlier - that was my mistake), but they were still able to fit in my car for a brake system replacement. Not only that, but they finished before 3 pm, far sooner than anticipated. They also fixed one of my headlights, which was out. The whole thing ended up costing quite a bit less than originally expected because I didn't end up needing a caliper put in like they originally thought. The staff are wonderful. They are very friendly and work very efficiently. Most importantly, they are very honest and reasonable here and will not try to overcharge you for anything. I cannot recommend them enough.

I have been going to Auto Tech Services for nine years and tell all my friends to go to them. I could not recommend them more highly. On multiple occasions they have looked into a problem on my car without charging me, even when they fixed it. When I bring it in for an oil change, they always let me know if there s repairs or other work that s going to be coming up so I can plan for that. Of all the service providers I use, Auto Tech Services is who I trust the most to be fair, knowledgeable, and get the job done.

Out of all the auto shops I ve been to over the years, Auto Tech Service is by far the most superior. Their staff is super friendly and I never feel like they re trying to screw me over. They always call with their findings and recommendations, with associated costs, before doing any service. Many times, the final cost is even cheaper than what they told me over the phone. The first time I took my car here, they forgot to call me before doing an oil change so they comped the charges. All around, they provide excellent service, professional expertise, and affordable prices.

I have been going to this shop for about 5 years now and they are wonderful. Very honest, polite, and get the work done without gimmicks or trying to up sell. They are also patient when explaining the services and pricing.

This was my first visit. These very knowledgeable, friendly and humble men explained my car's difficulty and said "no charge" because the "fix" took about 10 minutes. I encourage anyone with car trouble to give them a call. They are a Godsend!

They took my car on short notice and were able to replace a part on my car and have it back to me the same day. They also performed stellar work on my previous two vehicles as well when their shop was located in NW. Seeing as how this shop is closest to my job, I will be back when the time comes.

My check engine light was on, so they ran the diagnostic and found a minor issue with gas cap that they just fixed in the moment for no charge. It was kind and indicative of the kind of shop that I will definitely use in the future. Thanks again!Edit: I went back a second tjme for a different issue, and the team was just as kind and helpful. They were willing to listen to my ideas from internet searching, test a few theories out, and then determine a best next step. From now on, this is my go to automotive shop in DC!

We have been coming to Auto Tech Service for years now with multiple cars. They are wonderful and trust worthy. They always provide a quote before starting work and then if multiple things need to be replaced, they give you an order of priority. We have recommended this business to multiple friends and will continue to come here with any future cars.

Bilingual (Spanish owned) auto shop. Efficiency,timely manner, reasonable/fair prices. My friend works here (Manuel) he and the owner himself (Luis) took good care of me. Greatly appreciated, will be back for sure!

Been coming to them for a couple of years. Always easy to work with. They are a family run business who are not looking to rip you off. They moved to the Trinidad/Ivy City area recently and now have a huge nicely appointed waiting room with Krups coffee, TV AC and WiFi. New location also has 3 bays so they can move you along faster. I can t recommend them enough!

I ve been taking my 2003 Honda here for the past 2 years, and have been consistently impressed by the quality of service Luis and Miguel provide. They run the shop as a family business and as such are honest with their customers. I can trust that they will repair what s needed, and not overcharge me for things my car doesn t need. They re the best kept secret in DC I won t take my car anywhere else!

Very friendly and honest mechanic. They do excellent work and deliver your vehicle exactly when they say they will. Final price was exactly as quoted, so what more could I ask for. They also gave me explicit instructions for how to proceed to ensure that I passed my vehicle inspection. I highly recommend their service and will come back again.

I came here based on the excellent reviews and was not disappointed. I was welcomed in the office immediately. While the work (front suspension bushing replacements) had been promised for the same day, a part supply issue led to a delay. These things happen. The shop communicated with me immediately and promised it would be handled as a priority the following day as soon as the correct parts arrived. The next day I was called even earlier than anticipated and was able to pick my truck up right from their lot. They gave honest advice regarding a repair I'll need before too long and their pricing was totally reasonable.Excellent customer service. Prompt service. Reasonable price.Service: Steering & suspension repair

These guys were awesome - they went above and beyond for a new customer. Very fair prices and really great service.I brought my car in on a Saturday with an A/C issue and they called me an hour later with the issue diagnosed. They called me at 9:00 on Monday after having called around to a few auto shops to try to get me the part cheaper. They knew I wanted the car back on Friday morning, if at all possible, and sent someone to get the part from the dealership when it arrived on Wednesday - they finished Wednesday afternoon and had the car ready for pickup. It was awesome, and I m super grateful for their help!

These guys are the best. Fast, affordable, and honest about the repairs your car ACTUALLY needs. Took my car in with a repair I was told I needed by Midas and told me that my car didn't even need it. Ended up getting my brakes done with them anyways. Nice waiting room, every other customer in there seemed equally as content and relieved with their quality of service as I was. Will be back!

One hundred percent the nicest, most honest, affordable mechanics I ve seen. I bought an older car that needed more work than anticipated and am a first-time owner. They ve walked me through repairs I ve needed and talked me out of ones I don t. I live in New York but try to save my fixes for when I m here because I trust them so much. Just keep track of their hours. Best to come in the early morning and remember they close at noon on Saturday.

I had Auto Tech Services repair my brakes for my 2008 Ford! They were honest with me, and did only what they needed to do with the car, no more! Given it s such an old car, I really appreciate them taking the time to utilize their expertise and provide the repairs needed without running my cost up on unnecessary repairs. I will utilize them for all future car needs and highly recommend to anyone in the DC area!Service: Brakes

My friend recommended Auto Tech for an oil change. They went above and beyond checking my brakes, etc. They are real matter-of-fact and upfront about the costs. They warned about my brakes but didn't try to convince me I needed to do it then and they were right. Several months later, I brought my car back for new brake pads. Once again, they weren't trying to oversell. You can't make an appt which can be a bummer but first come first served often means work gets done faster. I don't wanna recommended because I don't wanna wait longer but they are fantastic

I had a long trip with driving in past 2 weeks during Christmas, but an urgent issue found on the way from NYC to Washington DC, my car made very loud noises when driving, I thought it maybe brakes issue. When I stopped at Washington DC for 2 nights, I thought I had to get it fixed because I still have a thousand mile ahead to destination. I randomly searched on web and saw many positive feedback on this repair shop Auto Tech Service. As it's close to my hotel, I just tried to walk in for asking help in early morning 12/23, then I'm very lucky to get immediate service action for brakes and rotors replacement. The owner Luis is very nice and helpful, very professional technical services, reasonable price, on time service delivery, just took a few hours to get brakes/rotors fixed. Much appreciate for your great and professional service, and you help me drive safely in rest of my trip. Highly recommend Auto Tech Service to anyone if have any car issues.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Auto Tech Service lives up to all the stellar reviews about easy communication, prompt service, reasonable prices, kindness, flexibility, and professionalism. I called ahead of time to inquire about price quotes and I was actually advised on how to save the most money - a singularly positive experience I never expected to have! As a young woman who is not super knowledgeable about cars, I constantly worry about getting upcharged by auto service folks. I can assure you that will NOT happen at Auto Tech Service. I couldn't be happier with my experience and they will be my go-to for auto service in DC. Couldn't recommend more highly- special thanks to Miguel Bautista who did a beautiful job replacing my very rusted brakes. I feel much safer driving now!

These guys are hysterically honest, helpful, efficient, and reasonably priced. On multiple occasions I've handed them cash even though they said 'no charge' because they deserved it and I would have felt guilty not paying them. The best car business I've ever encountered in my life.

I was referred by a friend and had an amazing experience. They completed a coolant flush in a few hours at a fair price. They were completely professional and courteous and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend�Auto Tech Services to all of my friends. I will be using their services again.

Professional and honest.Update: 5yrs later I m still depending on auto tech for my car needs and they still have the same great service, even after changing locations. I had just informed a new customer of how they some times will look at your problem to diagnose but won t charge because they re just looking . Something my I absolutely love that they do and just as I was telling her it happened for her. I love this place. I will be a customer here for a long time .
