I waited over 3 hours for another tow service that never showed. Called my service provider and they linked me to Marathon. Within 20mins they were at my house. George was professional and got the job done in no time. Thanks George. Will definitely reccomend.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

My husband brought our Mazda Tribute to Marathon to have a torque sensor replaced. Dylan went above and beyond, even coming in on his day off to make sure that our vehicle was repaired. Rarely do I write reviews, but I had such great service here that I wanted to share my experience with others. We initially took our vehicle to the Mazda dealership and they quoted us an astronomical price (as expected) for the repair to our vehicle. Marathon repaired our vehicle for fraction of what they charged. Reasonably priced and great service. I recommend this business 100%Service: General repairs

Marathon Towing & Transport is a great towing service. Great rates and very friendly service. The driver immediately contacted me to arrange transport after I requested a quote. Once he arrived he even disposed of a car battery that was in my driveway. Clearly went above and beyond. We were in a real pinch trying to find a towing company at called many places many places and they had given us really crazy prices and also crazy wait times. When I dropped a cane he was on time courteous yes and he also informed us that they're company company also did repairs he gave us a great price took our car and ride away call mom we got an estimate right away and our car was fixed 2 our pleasure and the price was right they are wonderful company. my daughter has an older car and we needed a mechanic that we could rely on and trust and this company was efficient And what they promised they would do they did it did they didn't change the price that gave us an estimate and that's what we paid So this will be a mechanic going forward II give marathon towing an auto repair 5 stars they were the best

Very prompt service! Called and asked if there was availability to tow our vehicle to a repair shop within the next day or two. Not only did someone immediately pick up the phone, but George went out of his way to come that same night. He text to inform us of when the vehicle was dropped off safely to its destination as well. Would certainly recommend them.

I received excellent and informative service today. The gentleman was punctual and exceeded my expectations. I ve had previous experience with other companies that were both unprofessional/over priced. My Daughters car was picked up/towed without incident. Absolutely fantastic service! George, the owner is very professional and willing to help. Everytime I speak to Shannon the manager, she's always so polite and eager to take your call. Their techs, Dylan and Willie are fast, friendly and super accurate with their work. I typically take my car Wilmington or NJ to get serviced. But I discovered this place on Google and decided to give them a shot. I must say this was a horrible decision to make. I initially called to set up appointments with the receptionist. She scheduled me to bring my car in the following week. My car was quickly diagnosed and it was said to have a bad headgasket and turbo that needed to he addressed. I brought the deposit and turbo to the shop within the first week in May. I was told it would be done 2 weeks from that day. I called 2 weeks later the car wasn't finished. I was told the next week it would be finished again it wasn't finished. Another week pasted I was told a mechanic quit but it would be done the next week. The whole month of May went by and I did not have my car done. June came and the samething happend kept getting the run around when the car would be done . I take that route to work everyday and would see my car just sitting there but the shop was actively taking new cars ahead of mine and knocking them out. The receptionist never returned any of my phone calls when she said she would. No updates on the car was provided at all but for me checking on it. June was another month of excuses until I went in to pick the car up. The mechanic stated that the car was taken apart. That he would personally make it a his priority to get it done. They played the blame game on different mechanics and people not putting my car on the schedule. It's July 3rd I got a call stating the car was running great its finished come pick it up. I get there to find out the car is not running great. It's only holding 10psi of boost when factory is 15psi. The mechanic told me he wasn't sure where the vacuum lines went and really had no clue because of the aftermarket setup. I paided for the car before test driving (huge mistake on my half) I offered to leave the car for him to figure it out. But he seemed to. Not to want to deal with it and didn't have a clue where the vacuum lines went. I had vacuum lines not even hooked up to anything. The car didn't come into the shop like this it held 15 to 18 psi. Since I already paided nobody seem to car that my car was not give back to me fully fixed. I now have to take it to another mechanic to straighten up the issue they left .Not to mention my bill had rip off charges on it. I was charged for a timing belt job and a water pump 3.4 hr job when they were already tesring about the motor and removing the belt. If I never caught these charges it would have been way more. The mechanic did remove them when I brought it to his attention.I highly don't recommend this place. Take your car else where unless you want your car sitting for months and not fully fixed. I had high hopes for this place but it was totally a lesson learned .

My son has to junk his truck the owner of marathon assisted us with picking up the truck and suggested a junk yard for us to get rid of the truck.The second time I used them was recently to jump my Infiniti hybrid which the dealership would not help me with due to my distance they even told me to tow the truck the 60 miles to them REALLY! I called marathon spoke to the owner who sent someone to my home and my car was jumped in less than 5 minutes.I will continue to use this company as their customer service deserve 10 stars and the prices are not badDid anyone know they also detail that s my next job with them ..Thanks for being dependable and awesome all at once

Beware these people don't know what they are doing. Had them pickup my jeep for a new exhaust to be installed and new carburetor with new spark plugs. They returned it not complete and still apart under the hood. The air filter was not even on the carburetor. The vacuum lines are a mess and the exhaust had no gasket so it sounds like a dragster with a open header. The bill was promptly paid with cash but they have done nothing to make it right. Think twice before using these people!!!!! Like I said the bill was paid promply with no questions of the charges. The jeep was returned not even put back together and sounding like a mac truck. They had it a month - plenty of time to fix the jeep. They can't even fix a simple 6 cylinder jeep and install a exhaust on it, even when they had a open account that did not question any charges. A simple jeep is too hard for these people! There are better places for repairs than here!Service: General repairs

We had a stripped bolt while removing our old battery today and Marathon towing was able to get the old battery out and help us install the new one. I was able to send my location to Marathon towing and George was there in 15 minutes during a snow storm while others gave me 6hour time frames. He was prompt, courteous and diligent. Thank you greatly!

I am so glad Marathon towing was there for me! The night before I was stranded on the road for 4 hours waiting on a company that did not come. The next day I called roadside assistance again, and Marathon towing showed up early, were very professional..two days later I'm locked out of my car, and who shows up, Marathon towing ! He had my car open in two minutes! I really appreciate all your service and will be using you in the future!!Services: Battery service, Special vehicle towing

Called them to schedule a tow for my son s Jeep that stopped running. Told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour, yet showed up favorably sooner. I ve had vehicles towed before , however this may be the most professional, courteous and caring tow guys I ve ever encountered. Thank you Marathon for transporting my vehicle with care. Will definitely be referring this company to everyone I know in need of tow or transport.

My insurance company took too long to send someone to change a flat on my work vehicle. I was able to share my location with Marathon, he came out right away, had to work harder than usual to get the tire off, and got the job done. So appreciate you and your service.

Dealership paid shop to replace catalytic converter. They 100% never replaced but said they did. They no longer work on vehicles, so now they are lying and saying that repair shop doesn t exist and was a different company. But it is 100% the exact same shop, garage and name. That s an expensive job to say they completed but did notEDIT. Found the receipt and it 100% says Marathon Towing & Transport LLC. That s insane the guy claiming to be the owner lied and said a different place that used to be there and closed down did the work.

It s Saturday and it s Fourth of July weekend and we had a flat tire! There was NOTHING open. George came to us, he was fast, courteous and professional. Tire repair completed and we were back on the road in no time. Highly recommended for tire, towing and detailing.

My car was locked and running, the keys and phone were inside, it was 7 am and snowing. My neighbor called this business for me and he was there within 25 minutes. He was a life-saver, got me in my car in a few minutes flat and I was on my way to work. I can't recommend this place more highly!!

I called to have my vehicle towed to the shop- Mr. Brown asked questions to determine my need and suggested that he jump it instead. That was the problem- so he saved me a lot of money. This is the first time using them. Although we sat for about a hour and a half. We did discover that he may be the only driver. But was very curtious. We were even able to show him the scenic route to our house to make it easier for the driver and the tow truck.

With no paper work. Or a legitimate means of contract I was asked to send the full amount (not half or even 75% as a deposit which I offered ) with no guarantee that I would receive my car. Just word of mouth. Far from professional & if conversation isn t to George liking he gets nauseated he will hang the phone up in your ear!

Sunday my vehicle was stuck in a ditch after I pulled over on the side of the road in Lepsic, DE of all places. Marathon towing surprisingly showed up in about 30 minutes on a SUNDAY and used a wench to pull me out. They were professional and helped me out when I was in a jam. I would use them again. George is very unprofessional and rude!!! He requests money without services being rendered. He must think we were born yesterday. I thought he was a church going man,but I was totally wrong. The way he treats women is very unsettling and disturbing and I wouldn t trust this guy at all!!! I wish I could give negative stars.

Completely waisted my time. Did not show up. Did not call. Lied and said they would be there in 30 minutes and never did until I called the. For the third time. I got a flat on the highway and they came out 30 minutes FASTER than the insurance company quoted me and took me to a shop quicker than my gps told me. I recommend Marathon to anyone with a pulse!

I needed to get my vehicle to the auto shop quickly for repairs. The company showed up within an hour as promised. Will definitely recommend to others.
