For more than 30 years, Tony, Michael and their great employees have helped our landscaping. Service is the best, the equipment is outstanding, and they will save your day when you need them.I strongly recommend suburban Lawn & Equipment for anyone who wants top notch quality.

Very clean and well organized. The staff is knowledgeable and give prompt service. I went in for some parts to clean and tune up my riding mower and they suggested a few more items I would have otherwise forgot about. Usually go in about 3-4 times a spring/summer and they've always been good if not great.

They are a great retailer for all your landscaping equipment needs! I recently called and talked with Dan and asked about a Scag mower and they had one in stock that they were currently putting together. I asked about financing and they got me all setup with a 0% APR 48 month loan thru Sheffield financial in a matter of minutes. Drove there and took the exact mower I asked about for a spin and pulled the trigger and bought it. I'm highly satisfied with my experience and will be a returning customer. Thank you for making my major purchase such a breeze!

I was in a bind and dropped off two trimmers for repairs. That was my total inventory of trimmers. I was just going to purchase a third one and Michael took it on himself and got the two of my trimmers running.You guys are the best! Thank you Michael and Glenn for making my day!

After my local dealer closed with retirement of the family members that ran it, I have begun using Suburban Lawn Equipment. To date I have ordered parts online and picked them up in the store with great success for a fair price. I have also purchased an additional mower from them. They were honest about the strengths and weaknesses of the machine as well as the common failure points and price for parts and repair in the event of a failure. This is a full service shop which has great advantages over a big box store. Staff is polite and friendly with knowledge and experience.

Today 10/09/23, I needed a carburetor for the MTD snow blower (1997) and a TROY BUILT lawn mower blade retainer (2008). I went In and spoke with Mrs. Jackie, and she was stupendous in helping me. Thanks so much for your help.

Everyone that I've worked with that has been nothing short of a pleasure to deal with. Suburban makes it really convenient for a residential owner of a zero turn to have their unit picked up and dropped off and I'm about 20 miles away from them! Services prices are very reasonable and I know when I get the my Hustler Fastrak back its always in tip top shape. Wouldn't consider taking my business anywhere else.

I had a GREAT experience with Suburban. They really spent the time to diagnose my problem and get to the resolution as effectively as possible. It's getting hard to find folks who are this caring and trustworthy! The only reason I gave them five stars is because you can't give six.

Friendly, helpful staff make doing business a pleasure. Been a customer for 25 years, and NEVER considered needing to find another vendor for yard equipment, supplies, or repairs. They got my mower back to me in a week after the throttle cable broke, in June. I figured it would be weeks, but these guys rock!

Personal push lawnmower started, but would not cut at all. Took mower in, staff was very helpful and professional, advised their full tune-up to solve. Was told 2-3 weeks but they had it done even sooner and did not charge me any fee for storage until I could get to it. Lawnmower now works like new and looks like new, I will be getting it tuned up here yearly from here on out.

Don't go into the sales department in the morning or around lunch time during the weekends. I've tried to buy a residential zero turn mower for weeks from these people. They make it hard to give them money, I'm not asking for red carpet treatment, just some good old fashioned customer service. I have a couple questions about the financing that they offer and they allow other customers (professional landscapers) ahead of me. I get it, I'm not buying a mower every year but treat people the way you would like to be treated.

Quick fast in and out service! I'm finally now a proud owner of the Honda 7000 generator for my food truck @SoulDlysh. After searching high and low for a generator, everyone was sold out but not Suburban Lawn Equipment! Thanks guys

I was looking for a new lawn tractor and had a idea on what i wanted. I purchased one of my first tractors from Suburban Lawn 20 yrs ago. Travis went over different options for what i will use it for. After many choices he recommended to me the XT2 46 EFI. I never owned a fuel injected lawn tractor, and Travis assured me this would be the best choice and also a very reliable tractor, after it was delivered and i got to use it, this tractor is awesome! im so glad Travis guided me the right way. if you never tried a fuel injected tractor, check out the cub cadet! such a great machine! thank you Travis and Suburban Lawn!

I was searching for a lawn mower and decided to check out Suburban Lawn. I couldn't believe the wide selection of lawn equipment in the showroom! They were very helpful and assisted me in finding exactly what I was looking for. I purchased a Cub cadet cc800 33-in walk behind mower. It's an awesome machine, and it cuts my grass cutting time in half. I had been everywhere searching for a mower. I should have went there first! Vic McHugh

I drive an hour to do business with these guys over multiple dealer/service within 15 minutes of my location. The professionalism of the entire staff is top notch. A clutch on a mower was having issues while under warranty. They thankfully had the part in stock and got me back to work the same day. If your business is big or small they will take care of you.

I was a customer of Hockessin Gravely for over 30 years, however after down sizing my home I live closer to suburban and they are a great business to work with, fair prices and great service, I will use this business again. They do as they say, thank you.

Have bought tons of commercial equipment from Suburban in past 3 years. I drive past several closer dealers to go there now for the service. You don t shop price alone as a commercial equipment owner. Service and parts availability are bigger than the price. Always taken care of.

Excellent service! And this is one of the few Stihl dealers that actually had a MS500i in stock, so I just bought that today, and they had a 36" bar for my MS661, so I grabbed that as well. I highly recommend Suburban Lawn Equipment!

The best service around. All of the other local mechanics seem like they could care less about my equipment and business. It is usually a couple week wait for repairs. The team at Suburban gets it done quickly and correctly. Besides great service, they have just about everything you could need from home owner to professional landscape equipment. I highly recommend Suburban.

Suburban Lawn equipment repaired my mower, cleaned my mower and delivered it ahead of estimated schedule.Everyone from sales to technicians did a great job and the refreshed mower worked great. They exceeded my expectations and delivered to a happy customer. I like this place, but I think I made my last purchase there. Went in this morning to buy a new zero turn. Walked around their show room for about 20 minutes and not a single person came to see if I needed help. Every register had a representative at it. One customer besides me. So I went over to Burke equipment and bought my zero turn there. Wasn t even looking 60 seconds before someone helped me. How it should be, especially when you got a pocket full of money. Apparently they have enough business there, so they didn t need mine.

Went in on Friday for some items for my old chain saw. They were busy, but they got me what I needed. They went on to show me how to sharpen the chain, use the right fuel, and pick a new saw if I ever needed one.They had a part for a saw that was pretty old. I wish I knew the names of the three guys who waited on me, so I could mention them. It just goes to show that who ever you got to wait on you was going to help in any way they could. I was in need of a part that was not a lot of money, yet these folks went out of there way tohelp me with what I needed. I called back later, and they ordered a part over the phone for me. I had to drive across town to get to them, but it was worth it. For any other purchases I'm going straight to Suburban.I'm no chain saw expert. These people got it that I was out of my area of expertise trying to fix my saw.They didn't care, they just jumped in and got me what I needed to finish the job. I know the limitations of my saw, which they were happy to explain. I'm going back to buy a new saw in the near future, knowing that they will sell me exactly what I need, for a fair price.

These guys are great they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I've purchased a bunch of equipment from them over the years. Had a issue with my last 0 turn i purchased. Brian in the service department (pro shop) is the man. Figured out what was wrong and had it back to my in only 2 days. 0 cost to me so thats a plus too..

Wow the staff are impressively friendly and service oriented. They answered all my questions and provided excellent service suggestions. The staff even helped me unload my Honda push mower from my car. The mower was repaired in the time they indicated and the price for the repair was very fair.

We had been a customer here for many years, and are now small business owners who were giving our business to Suburban. Recently, we went in and ordered a piece to fix a weed wacker and were rudely told that "it would be cheaper we just let them fix it", insinuating we wouldn't be able to fix it ourselves (we are well aware that we can, otherwise we wouldn't be ordering the part) We ordered the part and were told 1-2 business days. We waited until the 3rd business day to call and they said another 5-7 business days to wait for the part. When I went in to get a refund and cancel the order, they couldn't care less about our experience, especially being as though we are small business owners. We took our business to Gravely in Hockessin, and had a great experience. No condescending attitudes or lack of customer service there. Not to mention the price of the part was less than half of what Suburban was selling it for. You lost a customer but also business from a small local company. They aren't in it for the smaller businesses or customers, they are looking to serve large companies and large ticket price items. We won't be making our large purchases for here in the future.
