The tire prices are unbeatable and the workers are very friendly. This is also my favourite place to get gas. The fuel rewards and upside rebates alone should make anybody consider this place first.

Knowledgeable friendly service. Good prices. My choice for fuel and service. If you arent sure about tires or repair places. Look no further.If and when repairs are needed. This is a solid choice.

I get my gas here join shell club I get 10 cents gallon off on every fill up to 35 gallon of gas even if you only get $10.00 dollars I get 10 cents gallon off that goes for anybody in my family all you have to do is enter phone number

This place always has the SLOWEST pumps. Over a minute per gallon is ridiculous.

Will not be returning. I had been coming here for 3 years but on my most recent visit I was told after service that there s new owners and my bill was more than 4x more expensive than the 3 years prior. The employees were friendly but were unable to adjust the price due to the new owners. On top of that my tires were not filled to spec. If you re looking for an affordable local shop this is no longer it. I d stay away. That being said the employees were nice but a 4x price increase without notice is a hard pill to swallow.

Will is a great and honest guy. He won't waste your time, and he'll give you an honest estimate for repair costs. He's given my cars complimentary check-ups to quickly diagnose a problem. Very great service here, highly recommend.

Only sold me what I needed, and it was a very good choice.I had a low tire pressure light, they found the nail, but showed me that it was in the area that can't be repaired, and suggested replacing only the two tires on the back. Easy drop off and pickup the next day, and I am happy with the tires. Brian and his team should do fine at this new location.

I needed to get the air checked in my tires and there is literally no where to go to have someone do this for you. I asked what the cost was and they said no charge. The man who checked them for me was so pleasant and nice and showed me the proper amount I needed for each tire. It was better then any Christmas present! Thank you for your kindness and customer service. Highly recommend this business!

very friendly people, Brian and his crew worked on my car and did amazing job. I never had problem after that. They fixed my car in time they promised. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs repairs.

I was disrespected and treated like as if they were doing me a favor just when i was trying to ask questions to make an appointment. They won't rotate my tires even though I paid for it .I'll stay away from them fmif I was you

I mean I need the cheapest car repair around but they always do what they say and they do a damn good job of automobile repairs. I would rather pay a little bit more and have it done correctly the first time then pay a cheaper price I have a job that falls apart or fails after a couple of months. I have had several jobs done by these guys and the fixing stayed fixed. I've never had to bring a car back to them and ask them the do-over what they did. To me that is worth it and I'm glad to pay their price.

We were visiting family in the immediate area and our car stopped running. We took it to pa tire and rich told us that the valve cover gasket is leaking oil onto alternator. He told us that car needs valve cover gaskets and alternator. 6 hours later and our car runs just like new. Kudos to the team and I am glad to run into a shop that really knows what they are doing. If anyone in the area is looking for a shop that is full of knowledgeable staff, then look no further.

Maier's gave me a great deal for new tires on my Tacoma. Install was completed when they said it would and graciously checked and pressurized the tires one day when my warning light came on. Very attentive and friendly service station.

My daughter and I were on our way to a dance competition in NJ and one of our wipers broke in the middle of a winter storm. They were so nice and put a new one in for me at no charge! And they did it so quickly that we made it to the competition on time too! Thank you Shell/Pennsylvania Tire and Auto! You saved the day!

Absolutely fantastic! Brian and his crew did a great job. Above and beyond! I'm a 55 year father of 17 year old son. I'm on disability due to a recent kidney transplant. I know my way cars, Unfortunately situation has me handcuffed. No need to worry Brian and his team has my son and wife covered. Just one last thing I have to worry about. They get it!!! Fair and honest pricing. Thanks for all your help. Would recommend everyone even an enemy...if I had one lol. Keep up the Great work!

Outstanding service station!!! I had an emergency situation with my car and had to find a local repair shop that was carmax approved. Found Maier s and decided to give them a call. They were extremely nice and helpful and willing to take my car in on a Friday! They kept me updated with phone calls and even sent me a text showing me exactly what was causing the issue. It was my first time using Maier s shell station and they made me feel as if i had been using them for years. By mid Friday afternoon my car was fixed I couldn t believe it. Not only did they take my car without an appointment but were able to fix it by the end of the day!!! I felt like a valued customer and I couldn t be more happy. Service here is great will definitely be going back for routine maintenance as well as recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you Mike for everything you and your team are fantastic!

A couple of weeks ago I took my Dad s car here for an oil change. Oil change went ok, however, when I was there I needed to use their telephone to call my Dad about the work. One of the employees very rudely refused to offer the phone, when another employee immediately handed me the phone with no issues. I then had another problem with this gentleman when I told him the waiting area s A/C was off (it was a hot and humid day), he again very rudely explained there was no problem, and made no offer to help when another employee got up to check the unit and turned it down. Then, paying for the service, I handed the same gentleman my bank card which he had a problem running the card. Again very rudely he refused to run the card and another employee took my payment no problem. I WILL NOT patron this business again. I won t even buy gas here. No one deserves the ungrateful attitude of someone who serves the public with disdain.

I've used this shop quite often in the past but will not in the future. They did not do the work they said they did. When I asked about them not doing the work. They said bring it in and they'll do what I want but it's on me if it causes an accident. They never addressed the fact that they didn't do the work they just kept saying bring it back and if anything happens it's on me. Extremely poor customer service and employees who couldn't be bothered to do the work.

Once again, Brian and his team rescued my girlfriend on her way to work. Deb was driving down Marsh Rd and got a large bolt in her tire. She pulled up to the shop and was greeted by Brian. She explained her problem and he fixed the tire quickly and at no charge. This guy is amazing. Brian and the guys have helped us out with car problems twice now at the drop of a hat. I thank you and Deb thanks you. She wasn't late for work. Great job!

Rear break job, transmission fluid. (Nice they let me bring my own parts). Wanted to give Maier Shell a chance as I was looking for a new local shop. I should have read the review. So, they got the job done, but at a rate of over $125 / hr. If I wanted to pay that rate, I would have just taken the car to the dealer. I ll go to Ponte s next time. Save $25 per hr. (I did get a free tire rotation. Saved $20!)

This she'll went way down hill after new ownership. Tire pumps never work. There is hardly ever receipt paper in the pumps. Location was way better when it was Maiers shell. You could depend on the air pumps working, receipt paper being in the pumps and over all their customer service being excellent.

If it was up to me they wouldn't even receive "1" star but, unfortunately I needed to write this review. Upon arriving on Marsh Rd in Wilmington De @ 7:30am I noticed only 1 car waiting. When I asked the older man Rich how long was the wait he stated 2 hours so, I would have to leave my car in order to save my spot also, stating that they would do a full inspection around the vehicle in which I told him I only wanted an oil change and nothing more. About a hour went by and Rich called my phone saying I needed front brakes and I responded no thank you my father will put them on later today. Rich then says well why didn't you have him do the oil change? I then replied my father doesn't do oil changed, he knows how to replace brake and Rich goes into well you need 2 air filters replaced. When I told him no thank you just an oil change, he responded have your father replace them to since you don't want us to Change your brakes. At this point I was beyond bothered by the conversation so, I asked was my car done and he responded in a hour. Instead of me waiting a hour I received a ride up the street off of Silverside road that only took me about 3 mins. When I arrived there my car was finished stated Rich when he just stated not even3 mins ago a hour..... he walks me inside to pay and my sister observed another worker on the passenger side of my car messing underneath my dashboard. When I came out from paying I witnessed him getting up and asked what are you doing if Rich just stated my car is finished and he replied oh I was just checking you cabin air filter. As I walked away another co-worker stated only the black people catch attitude when they're asked questions. The works are rude and don't know how to communicate with people and they stigmatize black people as being ungrateful because we ask questions due to their ignorance!

Only been here a hand full of times because it s near my job. The worker is never there and when he does come he s rude as if waiting for 5-10 mins for service is acceptable. I just want to get my gas and GO! Not sit in my car hoping you come soon.

I work at Maier's Shell. I love it here. My co-workers are fantastic to work with. All of the techs are ASE certified. We are working with Del Tech and their automotive education program. Mike Maier supplies us with top of the line equipment. The customers here are wonderful as well. Everyone is always so polite and kind. It's been my pleasure coming to work everyday.

Professional and fast service! we've been going to Meier shell for 4-5 years now for all our service needs on a Toyota Highlander and Mini Countryman. foreign cars/parts/preventative maintenance are no problem for them. as for professionality, you hear stories of service stations taking advantage of women customers--not so here. my wife came in with a low air warning on her console and what looked like a nail in the tread, all on the way to work one morning. The service techs refilled the tire and found the object was actually just a bearing and not a hole in the tire. they got her back on the road in time for work, and took care of the situation honestly and professionally. that goes a long way in today's world.

Just got my breaks done. I usually do not write reviews but the service was exceptional. Express Oil change in 30 mins , I was escorted to the beautiful waiting room with free fresh fruits.

Maier's Shell Service ARE CROOKS!!!!! They prey on the elderly, and they need to be held accountable for stealing money from the older people! My mom's car was making a sound that seemed to be the sound of a hole in the muffler. She went to Maier's, since it is near her home and asked them to fix what was making that sound. It was left over night and they would call in the morning as to what the issue is. When they called they said that she DID need a new muffler, but there was a bigger problem, she needed to have the piping (exhausts pipe) done as well, as there is a small hole in it. This would cost close to $700! to replace all of this.Mom is on a fixed income and cannot afford this. She contacted me, her daughter to see what she should do. I called over to find out what the situation is. While on the phone he stated that, "she does need a new muffler - no question, it is old and rusty, and you could replace just the muffler, but as soon as you would leave the station, the exhaust pipe could brake and you would have to come back." He said he was doing us a favor by letting us know all of this, since the car is old, it does need all new piping, but he understands if we only want to do the muffler - it is a lot of money.He made it sound like we had NO choice, but to replace it all. I asked him to send me a picture of the whole situation under her car. He did, after making a lot of excuses that he doesn't know how to use the phone to take pictures, but I only received ONE picture. After I received the it, he sent me one picture of the hole in the exhaust pipe, NOT the muffler - I sent this to my husband. My husband told me to take the car somewhere else, he is scamming you. So we did. Maier's charged my mom $35 for taking the car for a second opinion!!!!The hole only needed a quick weld and that does not cost $700! And guess what? She did NOT need a new muffler either.Her muffler was fine. Maier's are crooks!!!!! They prey on the elderly, and they need to be held accountable for stealing money from the elderly and who knows how many other innocent people!!!!
