My vehicle was with Buick for 3 months. my customer service was horrible until the last perhaps two weeks before the vehicle was done. From December until now I have been seeking to speak with the manager of the Service Department and have been unsuccessful. I only need a simple document and I have not been helped. This is so disheartening because I bought my Buick from this dealer. Never ever again.

Good morning,Just left the service center at Union Park Buick GMC. I went in to get a replacement for my window pillar frame strip cover on the driver side. (A small piece )They told me they would have to charge me $155 to diagnose, plus labor, and for the part to put the sticker back on it.. the part cost $74 which was understandable , but to try and charge me to diagnose to simply put a pillar frame strip cover back on my car is insane.Buick GMC seen a young girl and tried to take advantage of her. Best advice I can give anyone go somewhere where they won t try and rip you off. I m very disappointed in this company.. and everyone that works there and tried to charge me that much for that minor issue.Service: Auto body & trim repair

In order to make an appointment, you cannot call the service number - that will send you right to voicemail and you will not get a call back. Instead, call the Union Park main line, and have them transfer you over to service.Be forewarned, your appointment time does not actually mean that your car will be serviced at this time. It just adds your car to the list. Additionally, I was made aware, after waiting 3 hours for my car to have its oil changed and tires rotated, that on Saturdays, there is only 1 technician on duty. So they schedule you, and keep you waiting for hours, before they even get to your vehicle. This was my experience with GMC service. While waiting in the BMW waiting area (because there was no more space in the GMC waiting area) it was abundantly clear that the situation is similar if not worse. One gentleman walked in stating that his appointment was for 10:30am, and he was informed that there are currently 7 vehicles in front of his waiting to be serviced.Seems like they just want to lock in as many people, no matter the cost to the customer, nor the lone technician that is scheduled.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

No need to write the lengthy review I was prepared to write as it is pretty evident reading reviews on here that the service department at union park is by far the worst service center in the Tri-state area. It trickles down from the owner Jim ursamarso who I contacted after my truck was nearing its second full week sitting around with no resolution. It s a business vehicle that tows regularly and they were extremely aware of that but frankly did not care. When talking to the owner I asked for a rental vehicle which he told me he could do that but he didn t want to. Do yourself a favor and go to a mom and pop repair shop I towed my truck to harry tillman automotive and after only 2 days I got the truck back on the road fixed with dealer parts that union park assured me weren t available (all they had to do was as make a phone call to a real dealer). also they quoted me parts that weren t needed. don t be taken advantage of by a business and owner don t care about the customer go somewhere that deserves your businessEdit: after taking my truck in for a routine service at a shop where the owner is professional and cares (not union park). I was informed that I was lied to by union park (surprise surprise). they said they always do a full chassis lube with a service, that is in fact a lie. A capable and reliable shop informed me that it doesn t look like a grease gun ever touched my truck (at least 6-7 times it was in for service). The counter staff is clueless and the techs are lazy and incompetent. I hope more people read these reviews so they don t get ripped off going to union park.

Avoid this place. Horrible customer service. The three up front are useless and incompetent and should be put out of our misery. Extremely disappointed from the moment I dropped it off to the moment I picked it up. The car is in worse shape now but was told nothing was done. My mechanic disagrees. The reviews are true. Shameful Buick, shameful.

Do not bring your vehicle here if you do not have a good understanding of your vehicle and actual required services/active warranties/recalls. I requested repair of a hose to the FCV valve as an audible whistle could be heard from the leaking part, causing engine issues. The total quote was over $1,300 but only $387 was linked to the service I requested, so I made sure not to approve any other these other REQUIRED (in Red) services. An additional $155 was added to diagnose the specific piece I asked to be fixed plus another $37 or so for service charges . In all three conversations I asked why a full diagnostic had to be done opposed to simply addressing the issue I requested, and was told someone else would have to address waiving the $155 fee. I ve had great experiences at Pardo s Automotive and with others around town, where simple quotes are given, you can speak easily to those who control your bill, and work is always quality. I ve always been told to avoid GM dealers for service, and it turns out there is some real truth to this as a likely systematic design of the business. So in short, support a local business. You ll likely save a decent amount of money, keep your cash within the community, and leave much less frustrated after reading/paying the full list of charges. As stated above, I attempted a respectful conversation with every single person I spoke with. All were kind, but none had the power to help . Next auto service will be back to Pardo s for me

Horrible service department, always giving the run around and scheduling maintenance appointments without having parts on hand. All union park service centers seem to have the same issues. Dealt with similar issues at Honda multiple times. Being left without a vehicle and no time frame of when the work will be finished.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Attempted twice to have my new vehicle serviced. First attempt - I scheduled through their online system and a few days later they cancelled it stating the online system was not accurate. Second attempt - scheduled via phone. Never got a confirmation email and wanted to confirm the appointment. I called back and no one answered for 3 straight days. Left a voicemail, no response. Called a 4th day and finally got confirmation. Arrived today for the appointment at 7am. Was told both mechanics called out and was given the option to wait an hour for another mechanic. Chose not to wait and won't return. Cannot recommend.

I was able to purchase an oil filter for 2021GMC that's in short supply. They had it in stock. The counter people are very helpful and efficient.
