I called to ask if they had availability this morning to fix a nail in my tire and the man on the phone said yeah just give us a little time and we should be able to get it done for you so I drove over, thinking maybe an hr or so wait, and the woman at the front said I can probably get it in later this afternoon if you drop it off .. that s definitely not what the man on the phone told me. Very disappointed since I come here for all of my household cars tire needs.

The employees at this pep boys were very friendly and efficient. They had my new tires on in no time. I will definitely use this pep boys again and will tell friends and family about how great the service is at this location also.

My Dodge Dart had a misfiring and needed a spark plug change while we stopped in delware for a night. We called them on a saturday, they asked us to come in, evaluated the car and fixed the issue within the hour to help us get back on the road. Extremely proficient, and kind staff and technicians. Highly recommend going to them for car services, routine or urgent. Thank you so much for helping us out that day. We appreciate you.

Even though I was helping my brother drop off his car at Pep Boys, the personnel were inside were very courteous.They were professional and explained all of the questions my brother had asked them.He had been going to them for the past year with no issues.I liked when they told him that they will give him a call and let him know what the problem is and how much it would cost.5 star rating

The service was great. Debbie is such an asset. The mechanics work quickly and are transparent. I appreciate being able to have them in my neighborhood. I ve been a customer of Pep Boys for a very long time and when you need them they are there. I went in for one concern and they answered my questions and helped with the issue.. I felt they adverted a problem I would have had later on. Well done guys.

I scheduled appointment online the night before for a tire plug. I arrived 5 minutes early - they took it back immediately. I was in a hurry since I had to be back at work. Within 45 minutes they were driving it back out...and they put everything back where it belonged from my roadside tire change the day before...and you know it can be difficult putting the jack, the air compressor and the donut tire back in the original place!! Well done!

I loved their service and except for my experience of the last time I visited. The guy I met there at front desk, he is lacking of professional trainings, like the basic ones( how are you and welcome to PepBoys). He ignored me from the time I entered to the store upon until I left. Retrain him please.

Brakes were getting hot on one side. They did fit our van in last minute which was nice. However, after just over an hour of travel, our brakes are still hot with mostly highway driving.

Please avoid this place at all cost. They do a horrible job, keep your car all day and your drive way will be full of oil the next morning. Almost forgot to mention one of my undercarriage panels was lost on the way home from their tech not installing it correctly .. update: No need for the investigation, I gave you my business 3 times and you somehow found a way to fail every time. Very disappointing.

Our van had a tire puncture that could not be fixed so I had to buy a new tire. Fortunately we had road hazard so got a pro-rate on the old tire and then I decided to buy a matched set of 2 tires. The tech worked the problem like a pro--she picked up the tires at another store and quickly had the van back on the road. I appreciate the 10% military discount as well! Pep Boys always is easy to work with and helps you get you back on the road fast! Great service and prices!

I went in to get brakes, rotors, and oil change done, they told me it was way more to fix before they could even start the brakes etc. they tried charging over $1k however, I went to my regular guy, who was not available that day and he was able to fix it with no issue?? I needed something very last minute so obviously my fault for thinking somewhere corporate wouldn t try to finesse. Not to mention the older lady in the front with pink hair was so unpleasant and had an attitude from the time I walked in. She ignored me when I said hello and just stared at me until I told her what I was there for. When I told her I didn t want a $100 oil change and just brakes (before I knew the price) she scoffed and said I mean if that s what you want, again, with a major attitude. Even if they didn t try to finesse me, I would not go back primarily because of her miserable self and poor customer service.

Great advice from Luis and a competent inspection of my brakes. Had a synthetic oil change and Pep Boys had a 25% off coupon which made it very affordable.

Debbi helped both my dad and me purchase new tires for our vehicles. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the best tires at the best price. We will both be repeat customers because of how well Debbi and the other staff treated us while there.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We took my wife's car in for an oil change. We were called and told that there were a number of problems with the vehicle (needed a tune up, needed a new serpentine belt ASAP, needed new shocks because they were cupping the tires and also needed a new head gasket) totaling $2,650. We were hesitant on getting all of that work done so we got a second opinion from an independent mechanic. It turns out that the tuneup was the only thing needed. The belt had at least another year contrary to what Pep Boys told us. There was no problem with the head gasket and the mechanic laughed when we told him that Pep Boys said that the shocks were cupping and causing wear on the tires. The cherry on top was when we found out that Pep Boys didn't even put enough oil in the vehicle when our reason for going there was an oil change. I've been taking my cars there for years but they officially lost some customers.

Jason and his team were awesome. I had brought my car in to have an extensive amount of maintenance done to it. They had promised that the work would completed that day. They continued to work on the car after closing time to finish the job. I appreciate the dedication. A big Thank You!

Had my husband s car towed here around 8pm Monday night. Bill called me in the morning and let me know that the alternator and battery needed to be replaced. He was friendly and extremely helpful. Car was ready around 4pm on Tuesday. Best service I ve had in a long time. Bill saved me as much money as he could and provided wonderful customer service. Owning 3 older vehicles, we will definitely be back!Service: Battery

a. The website mentions a 45 min wait time while it took more than 3 hours to call backb. The front desk person (Debby) initially asked me to pay 129+14 for the inspection. I had to show them the website to bring it to $75c. She just gave me an estimate and did't give me the inspection report which was the main purpose I left the car. Upon asking, she tore off some portions of the stapled report (which I believe is the courtesy checks) and gave me 120 point check reportd. The report mentioned 19 out of 120 as not applicable. Items like exhaust checks, steering & suspension were marked as n/a. When I asked for it she mentioned that they were OK and hence marked as na; when further asked she responded that the exhaust items need to be cut open and cannot be done!e. She did not provide the CarFax report as mentioned in the site. When I asked for it she said the CarFax history would state the same as in the 120 point report!! When I further insisted, she said she had triggered a request and I should get an email. I never got the email so I called her up. She then nonchalantly responded that she has the report on her hand but has no way to send it to me as there's no scanning facility; if I need I might collect it from the shop today.f. The inspection had stated problems with brakes though the authorized Dealer did't mention anything while he checked on AugThis's the second time I'm facing issues with the same place. During the last time on Sept 6th, I was gave my Avalon for some issues to make it pass the DMV test. I was told that I can get the car back to see if the check engine comes up before taking it back to DMV. When I reached there with the car, the front desk person said that he had no one to do a normal check engine test!!As I was driving the car, my engine started over heating and I had a bigger issue. Later that day I took it back to the shop. The front desk person said that he would have to charge if there was another issue but would take care if the root cause was a problem with fixing the older issue.Thankfully, he agreed that the mechanic was at fault and fixed it free of charge.Overall, I'm surprised that such a big brand could be so sloppy and obviously customer non-friendly.There were other problems like rattling noise at the back. The front casing came off and had to be pressed back in.. the brake warning light on the console is switching on once in a while..Not sure what to say..

All around amazing service. Desperately needed 4 new tires after moving from the south to a cold/wintery climate. Not only did Jason squeeze me into the schedule, he and the staff stayed way past closing to make sure the job got done. Will definitely be going back for all of my car needs.

Place is like all tire places except the staff here is nice and honest and the deals beat everywhere else. Shawn helped me for like 2 weeks before I made up my mind and then went out of his way to track down tires that where hard to find.. In the end that pep boy got my tires installed and ready to go faster than the my was finished. Great job. Happy customer here. 10 stars
