Brian and the crew are exceptional. We've been getting our company vehicles serviced there for over 2 yrs now. They are busy, so make sure you call ahead of time and make an appointment.

Very reasonable prices. Honest and reliable. Bring most of my vehicle's from Delaware County from them to work on. I would recommend to all my family members, veterans and law enforcement friends.

My oil light came on while driving on 95 with alert 0%oil. I Googled the closest oil service and Penny Hill came up. When i called he said he will do it but probably i will need to wait quite some time. When I arrived he took me right way! The service was impeccable!! The price was better than most. I watched how he dealt with the constant ppl coming in due to the snowstorm. They didnt turn anyone away and made appointments for the ppl who had flexibility. I will be returning

I had a slow leak in my right front passenger side tire. Turned out it had a nail in it. And no time they had the tire off checked it fixed it back on and had me on the road within less than 20 minutes. Great customer service. Today both my husband's car and my car were unexpectedly out of commission. My husband and I are new to the area and hadn't found a mechanic yet. I called Penny Hill because my car needed to be seen so we could have at least one functional car. Brian and his team were kind and understanding about our situation. It turns out my transmission fluid line was rotten and needed replacing. They got us in and took care of us with excellent customer service for a quality price. Incredibly thankful for their work!! This really is the best place in the area to get your car serviced. They don't sell you stuff you don't need. One of the few places where if you ask them to replace your brakes, but your car doesn't need brakes, they'll tell you it doesn't need them before proceeding to make sure you actually want them to do unnecessary work.Everyone is served on a first come first served basis, so the sooner you get there the sooner your car will be looked at.

My husband and I recently moved to this area and Penny Hill was recommended by my sister. We have taken our cars to them a couple times over the last couple of months for a variety of old car ailments and Brian and the team at Penny Hill have been amazing. Everything is done right, done quickly, and they charge a fair price. I feel like I can trust them and I'm happy to have found a mechanic in this area that I feel happy and comfortable working with long term.

These guys are amazing! If you happen to be on the fence and where to take your car it has become my new spot! Every time I brought it in Dave had quick answers awesome attitude excellent work ethic and on top of that prices are always extremely reasonable. When I first spoke-to who I assume to be the owner-on the phone I knew this was a good shop. He took a few minutes to consult me about counterfeit parts on the phone, and then another few minutes when I dropped off my car to explain something else. Got me in and out surprisingly fast as well without an appointment, so, they know how to queue tasks and properly prioritize their customers.To put simply: these people care about what they do, and the price of service is on point. Your car is in good hands at Pennyhill and I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

These guys are the best mechanics around. My local mechanic wanted $1,900 for a clutch replacement and then gave away my appointment. Penny Hill got it done within a day and just the same as the work I've had done there before, it is top quality. They charged me around $850 for the same job I was quoted $1,900 for, and they do better work. Highly recommend these guys.

The Auto Mechanics are knowledgeable and able to solve any problems you may have if your car/truck/suv, etc. The cost here is not as expensive as nearby other car repair centers. Emergency-based service is also provided with additional charges. Prices are negotiable, so you can spend very little money for high quality service for your vehicle.Give a trip here, save some extra bucks!

Brian and his team have done virtually every repair for me an auto repair service can do to vehicles. He even helped me with some business equipment I needed repaired some years back ( which he doesn't even do ). I have been using Brian for 10 years or more! This is a self own business , I was referred here by a mechanic that actually work on my car through an auto accident through my insurance carrier overall this place works well with small maintenance in the beginning but as I begin to go here overtime due to the fact that I do not know them personally they actually seemed irritated with me keep coming back to their store the store is very small and I ve noticed that everyone who comes in and out of this place while sitting here to wait for my car to get fixed it s all people that know him personally have been coming to him for years I would not recommend to go here if you are new to the environment office store I took my car here for a change and they kept my car from to the time they close I was unaware of why they cut my car so long for oil change and when I took my car to the dealership they told me that I had a rear main seal leak which cost me over $1600 cause me to have to just get a new car because of the high expense AGAIN I would not recommend to go here if you do not know them personally and this is a self own business. As a female is hard finding a mechanic that is honest and takes time to really take care of your car and not cheat you out of your money. The mechanics of Penny Hill are really good they're kind they take the time out to make sure your car is good and they don't overcharge. They also don't try to milk everything out of your pocket.

My fiancee and I started going to Penny Hill because they had excellent reviews, and in our experience, they absolutely, completely and totally deserve every last good review they get. They've been nothing less than complete professionals. Every time we've been there, they've been honest, efficient, and polite. They're also incredibly affordable -- more so than any other place I've been to in my life.Seriously can't recommend these guys enough. There's no substitute for a good mechanic.EDIT: It's been a couple years since I started going here, and if it's possible, I admire them even more. More than once, I've taken my car here to get a weird rattle or an odd warning light checked out, and they've fixed it without charging me. *Without charging me.* They said it was too minor of a problem to bother with charging for.These guys are good people AND good mechanics.

These guys were recommended by a guy a work with. Went and got a quote for rear brakes and rotors on my Audi A4. Guy gave me a great price, and then I had him replace two tires too. Pricing was awesome, I saved $330 vs another quote i had on the whole package.Guys were honest and seemed to know what they were doing which is rare. Kind of hard to see the sign for them, so just try to look carefully.Highly recommend.

My car's battery needed to be replaced (after I had to jump-start it).I went to Penny Hill For help, and THEY REPLACED IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE!Just TRY to find that with another garage!And they were reasonable!By golly, there's STILL some professionalism and courtesy out there!Thanks so much, guys!

I've have being a mechanic for 30 years and when it comes to fixing my car I'm very meticulous. Since I am retired and have some health issues, I can't do certain repairs. So, I take it to Penny Hill Service. Brian is a honest men, won't take advantage of you, and will give you advice on the repairs. He is a true Professional. Never had to bring the car back after a repair and the price is reasonable. The best shop in the Claymont/Wilmington area. Thanks Guys!!

My car needed front and back brakes so I started researching the area for a trustworthy mechanic. Had an experience earlier in the year with another shop where they wanted to charge me 150 dollars to change my cabin air filter for me when I could do it myself for 10 dollars but I digress.I'm glad I picked penny hill though, the main guy in the office was really friendly, while I was sitting there waiting for my car to be done he would treat his customers with respect and tell them advice on their cars which was awesome in my opinion, most mechanics dont say anything and keep quiet but not this friendly man. I can tell they treated my car carefully and were honest with me plus they didnt overcharge me or take advantage of me which solidifies my business in the future. These guys are great, honest and reliable. They will be my go to guys from now on. I definitely recommend anyone coming to them. You wont be dissapointed. 5 star for penny hill! Thank you guys for all your hard work.

I have used Penny Hill service for a few years, but now the service is horrible. Week after week I would leave my car to have the air conditioning fixed. Many times he would say "I didn't get a chance to look at it yet" can you bring it in next week. So I had no air conditioning for over 8 weeks. He told me there was a sensor that could be anywhere and it was hard to find. I have no alternate transportation, but rather than hover over them, I would go for long walks only to find he didn't touch my car. On the last visit to them, I told them the oil can light was coming on, but I had plenty of oil. Although they did not touch the air conditioner, they replaced the sensor for the oil can light for 115.00. Still the light came on. I went to a different person and after all the time wasted at Penny Hill, I had my air fixed and the oil light fixed. I threw away 115.00 because what they did did not fix the light. I would highly recommend going anywhere else, just NOT to Penny Hill.Service: Air conditioning

I've been coming here for a couple years now and SO happy I found their shop! Everyone there is polite, professional, and friendly. Above all, they are honest. I've sung their praises so much that my boyfriend finally switched shops and he's been satisfied with the more extensive work his car has needed.

Great service and fair pricing! Relieved to have found an honest shop with know how. While other shops wanted a $200 "diagnostic fee" Brian and his team diagnosed and repaired the issue for less! You can go almost anyplace and have a "certified parts replacer" or go to the crew at Penny Hill and let a MECHANIC fix your car the choice is yours. I know where I'll spend my money. Thanks Penny Hill!

Love this place! They are affordable, quick, and down to earth. I thought I had a problem with my brakes and they looked at them and was actually honest. They said the problem wasn't my brakes and they wouldn't feel comfortable charging and doing work that doesn't need to be done. Glad we found this place!

This will be my go-to mechanic shop from now on. I ve tried pep boys and jiffy lube because they open on weekends but they always try to rip you off by providing suggestive services. The owner here is honest and businessman with integrity. They even helped me replace my expired plate for free (plate screws rusted so bad). I would recommend to my coworkers.
