Replaced exhaust in Subaru Outback. Midway was recommended to me. SOOOOOO glad I wasn t robbed by the chain exhaust place up the road. We re quick, professional, reasonably priced! Worth the trip from NJ!

I had a front exhaust leak. So I immediately went to Meineke. They provided an estimate of $529 to replace the flex pipe and repair the flange. While conversing with a colleague at work, he referred Midway. i called the next day and received an estimate of $180 for the same exact repairs. Roy took my car immediately upon arrival and had it fixed in less than an hour. I highly recommend this shop based on the customer service experience first, and the low prices was icing on the cake.

These guys are awesome! I had a problem with my catalytic converter. They found it right away. And made reasonable repairs. I highly recommend!

The best of the best, Professional, attentive and with a great work team. The affordable prices. Took my 2011 Kia Soul in with muffler pipe issues and in no time they had the kia fixed. I was silent as if nothing had happened. I recommend it.

I was recommended by Mike of Executive Auto Body and like Mike, this was an amazing example of having the best car repair experience one can and should have. He needs to clone him and his boys. "F" Amazing!! Just like Mikes.

STAY AWAY. Scheduled an appointment to put an exhaust on my truck, picked up the truck and was charged $420 for a $150 quote and exhaust wasn t even put on. Shop refused to acknowledge the mistake on their end, blamed me, refused to try to remedy the situation. Shop employee attitudes were terrible . Will never be recommending anyone do business here. Employee threatened to take me to court if I disputed my credit card charge.

Terrible shop. Back in April of this year someone attempted to steal my driver side catalytic convertor but were stopped before they could get all the way through. I had it welded by a different shop and the weld wasn t done properly. My check engine light came on a few weeks ago and the code said it was a pressure issue within the converters, so I took it to Midway Muffler to get it fixed. I told them that my drivers side converter was cut, so that was probably the issue. I told them this many times. I also told them that the weld wasn t done properly, and they argued against that saying the weld looks great and the problem was with the passenger side convertor. I was away for military training so I wasn t able to personally check out my truck and see what was going on, so I took his word for it after reminding him again that that was not the converter that got cut. They charged me $800 for a new converter on the passenger side. The next day, my check engine light came back on again for my converter. I called the shop and all they did was make excuses, so I took it to another shop that my family has been using for years, and the mechanic there said that the problem was a hole in the weld on the drivers side converter, just like I told the guy at Midway Muffler. When I called them again to confront them, they said the weld must have blown out after it left their shop and refused to remedy their mistake. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very reasonable pricing and great work. They don't try to gouge your pocket and if a mistake is made it is rectified immediately at no cost to me. They are good at giving a stress-free experience to an otherwise very stressful situation.

This place as been good to me every time I go! That's why they are so busy. One place was trying to replace my whole exhaust system for 2,000. Midway did a repair for 180 in less than an hour wait time. I was prepared to wait all day if needed. I left with car as quiet as a mouse! Thanks midway dad and sons :) FYI two other places recommended them before I went. Happy customer

I went into Midway muffler for the first time ever and it was one of the best auto shop experiences I've had in a long time.I used to work in a mechanics shop 20 years ago and it was run almost exactly like this. Friendly/respectful to customers first and foremost, knowledgeable employees, and if something was small (even if it went on the lift) the cost was minimal if anything at all. Well I haven't come across that style repair shop for a loooooong time until now.Midway is a family owned business (found out while I was there), started by the father and now being passed on to his 2 sons. They value customer service and knowledge of the trade and it shows.I brought my wife's car in for what I thought was a faulty gasket between the pipes. I told that to them, even though I feel like most people don't want to hear what you think is wrong with the car , but the son (can't remember his name) listened and took the keys.He was back in about 15 minutes and said the car was finished. I was shocked that it was done so fast. He handed me the keys and said have a nice day. I asked what I owe and he said nothing. He explained he put it up on the lift, noticed the problem immediately, replaced the faulty parts, and patched it up. I again was in shock that he was willing to take no payment, so I happily took the car and left.Once on the road I felt like I should've been more grateful, apart from a "Thank you" and a "Have a nice day", so I turned around and went back. I sat patiently until the father was finished speaking with a customer, handed him a tip, told him it was for his son and to thank him again for the work. The father said this was unnecessary, but he would give it to his son for lunch that day.These types of shops are few and far between these days and to have a humble, knowledgeable, grateful, friendly staff to welcome you and work with you is very nice. I will absolutely go back to Midway for any exhaust needs and will recommend them to my family and friends. Top notch service!

Roy did an awesome job! He came as a recommendation from a friend and I was NOT disappointed! Great work, done fast, with a friendly office staff. The location was very easy to find. Overall, a great experience, and I will be returning if I ever need to in the future.

very disappointed. they didn't call to let me know my vehicle was done for 2 days. Repair was only on one side of a v6 and was done with a smaller sized pipe, which they told me was an acceptable repair, and now there is a horrible vibration. welds look like a child did them. they obviously they don't take pride in their work. don't trust them to do the job right.

Went here to get estimate for a muffler issue and they gave me a good price and fixed only what needed to be fixed and car was done in half hour. I had gotten an estimate from another place that wanted 4 times what I was charged here. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing! I ordered a cat back exhaust system from a website for my son. I thought my son would be installing it himself but he called Midway Muffler instead. My son got an appointment right away and it was installed quickly for an extremely reasonable price! Service was fabulous. I can t say enough about this place! They really go above and beyond! I am telling all my friends about this place! Midway Muffler is the place to go for all your exhaust/muffler needs!

I had my '65 Chevy Stepside exhaust done here a few months ago. It's one of the few shops I've been to where they know what they're doing. The owner took the time to discuss what & how I wanted the work done. The price was fair and the quality of the work was excellent. Welds were clean, hangers done correctly- no complaints.

I needed custom exhaust work to make my car slightly louder/meaner, and Midway did an amazing job. They replaced my resonator with a Dynomax muffler that I provided, and the price was unbeatable. In under 45 minutes my car was done. Great work and service.

Great place, really nice guys that know what they're talking about and doing. I was referred to Midway from another shop after failing inspection due to an exhaust leak. After putting my car up on the lift they were really honest, not only did I have an exhaust leak caused by a damaged flexpipe but he also saw a worn out engine mount. He told me that he could replace the flexpipe but because of the mount it probably won't last long, I went ahead and had them replace the flexpipe anyway and it passed inspection. I will definitely be returning here (and referring others) for any exhaust work in the future.

Butch and the group at Midway are amazing. They got me in and out with a catalytic converter on a 2002 4Runner in no time. They even saved my glasses I dropped the parking lot!The price was fair (and a lot cheaper than the dealership who sent me to them, less than half!)Go see them, you won't be disappointed.

The worst, I went there to drop my car off to get a new performance exhaust installed and I got the worst attitude from the elderly guy at the front desk. It seems like he did not want my business or he did not want me there. I just got in my car and left. If he can give me a nasty attitude and he does not know me, then imagine how he would treat my car. No thank you sir I will go somewhere else.

I don't write reviews that often but this shop has earned one. The service was great and fast. The folks also couldn't have been any nicer and more pleasant to deal with. If you're needing muffler/exhaust work then this is the place to go!

I figured I give this place a try I asked for a quote for a catalytic converter replacement I told the guy I have the guy I have all the parts for a 2002 subaru forester if you know cars this is a inexpensive car to work on last muffler shop did it for 60 dollars but the catalytic converter I purchased failed so the fact that I live in Philadelphia but work in Delaware I would make in convenient for me to be at work while this simple part gets replaced REMEMBER THE LAST MUFFLER SHOP DID IT FOR 60 DOLLARS HE SAID 400 I'M GLAD HE DIDN'T TOUCH MY CAR I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HE DID DIRTY YOU CAN GOOGLE THE PEOPLE WHO GIVES 5 STAR REVIEWS TO SEE IF THEY ARE REAL OR FAKE.

Midway is a honest old school muffler and exhaust shop that excels in quality and knowledgeable exhaust work. They will go out of their way to save you money and will not sell you anything your car does not need.They are a family business and are a fixture in the Delaware community. They have been the only exhaust shop I trust to work on my Mercedes.

This repair shop is not only honest but provides fast and friendly service. Taking my car directly to him vs a shop that outsources work to him not only cut out the middle man but saved me a lot of money and time while putting the money directly in Midway's hands. I highly recommend this shop especially if you've been told you need a large repair. These gentleman know their stuff and won't give you what you don't need just to make extra money.

Midway is the best! Feeling rather disenchanted from taking my car to 2 different shops to get my exhaust repaired, waiting over 4 hours to be told they couldn t get the parts on Saturday (needed the entire exhaust, including catalytic converter), I posted my woes on facebook. Within a few hours 2 friends who didn t know each other told me to take my car to Midway. So I called, talked with Butch- great guy- who told me to bring my car in. I took my car in, was out of there in under 1 hour!!! .. and no, I didn t need to replace the catalytic converter, just 2 pipes! Thanks Butch, you saved me a ton of money and restored my faith in honest repair shops.

If I could give more stars I would. Called 30 mins before closing to get an estimate on my car for exhaust. Gave a very reasonable price after showing what someone else was charging me. Fixed it for me even though it was close to closing. Butch is awesome
