I had an exceptional experience with this mechanic! Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire process enjoyable. They went above and beyond to explain the issues with my vehicle and provided clear, honest recommendations. The quality of their work was outstanding, and my car now runs like new. I highly recommend this mechanic for their expertise, kindness, and top-notch service. Five stars all the way!

New owners are absolute angels! My car would not pass inspection and started running funky. Dropped it off and was given a call within hours with with full transparency. I appreciate Brian, Kelly and Conner for all their patience and help. Just because ownership changed does not mean the service changed!

I was about an hour away from home, driving to DE for work when I got a flat tire. I had to call AAA to get my car towed. This autoshop was the closest one. That turned out to be very fortunate for me. I needed to get back on the road to finish some work and then get home. Connor was the one that helped me and was very understanding of that fact. He took care of the tire in about 10-15 minutes. There was no upcharge, no kind of unfair pricing for someone who needed a quick fix. They were very fair with the cost of their help. This all happened towards the end of the day around 4 PM. They could've easily said, "We're booked. You'll need to come back tomorrow". But they were gracious about my situation. They're honest, hard working people. I can't offer any higher compliment than that.

I had two nails go through a tire on my work vehicle. When other shops were all booked solid, Joe Shilling Auto had me back on the road at a fair price, and fast enough for me to still serve that day's customers. Absolutely saved the day.

Joe Shilling does not own this business anymore. That is too bad because he and his family were wonderful. As someone else said the people running it now seem to be very inexperienced. I stopped taking my cars to them after multiple issues with the service and the excuses that went with it. I have found out that I am not alone after going to another local shop who has gotten my business. It is unfortunate to see a local business that has been around for so long go downhill so fast. Nothing lasts forever I guess.

Joe Schilling Automotive I would avoid. Not a good place to have your family vehicle repaired. Stranded it will leave you, and the same can be said about the service. No help given when our van died out of town on holiday due to a shoddy repair from this repair facility. If no stars could be given, I would.

The job started and finished with Damion being helpful, a good communicator, knowledgeable and quick. Dropped the car late evening and it was ready the next day before they closed. Huge.I genuinely felt Damion (yes, it s spelt correctly) was honest with me about repairs. It means everything when trust/truth is at the core of all repairs. I ll be returning. Our car broke down on our way home traveling through Delaware. And after trying two other places beforehand who could not complete the repairs needed. Joe shillings should've been our first choice. Their staff and mechanics went above and beyond to get us back on the road.

I was a long time customer of Joe's but apparently he no longer owns it. New folks "in charge" seem very inexperienced and foul mouthed. The last straw for our family came several months back when I had to return multiple times to have something repaired because it was done incorrectly the first few times. The last time I went into the office the secretary seemed like she could not be bothered. Then, what I later found were the owners, came out drinking beer at 4pm and appeared to already be inebriated. The office smelled very strongly of stale beer and marijuana. This place seems to run like a frat house. They never did fix my issue, and after getting the runaround, I found a more competent shop that fixed my issue with ease. Sadly they lost all business from myself and several family members which included quite a few vehicles as well as company vehicles. My advice is to avoid these guys. It is a shame Joe isn't there anymore. His family and staff were the best.Service: Auto maintenance

These guys go above and beyond. They are honest, kind, and go the extra mile. On several occasions my teenage son took his newly purchased car in there when a warning light went off and they helped him out, free of charge. We were a Goodyear fan, but no more. These guys are the best!

Joe shilling is a rip off artist. My car was quoted a price of $3000 to repair by shilling. I found another service center that would perform the same service to my vehicle for $1700. When l made shilling aware of this he told me it will be $150 in labor for parts already removed from my vehicle and that it would have to be towed to the new service center. I come to find out that the parts removed by the new service center were totally uncalled for to be removed and it didn't need a tow.I will never do business with shilling again and l will preach to everyone l know about my situation

I'm rarely comfortable with auto repair shops. Always looking to pad the bill with other things wrong with your car. Talking to Joe and Tom, both made me feel like I wasn't going to get ripped off. I made an appointment and after looking at my car, they talked to me and it was going to be better than I had hoped. I also assumed it would be at least 2 days. I got my car back the same day. I will absolutely reccomend this place and be a returning customer. Thanks so much guys!

I have an older Mercedes-Benz with a strangely acting transmission. After visiting a few places, I went to Joe . Based on my description, he offered a diagnosis that he could confirm when I brought the car in. I made an appointment and the same day he called with the diagnosis and estimated cost. The next day it was fixed and the cost was reasonable and below his estimate.The same job would have cost more than double at the dealer.This is an old fashioned good car repair with all new technology service. I highly recommend it.

My car died off of 495, and AAA brought me to Joe Schilling because they are a recommended vendor. I was nervous because I knew nothing about them. From Jo Anne to Shawn, everyone was extremely helpful and fixed my car at a very reasonable cost. I wished I lived in Delaware to use them again. Already recommended them to my family.

They took me in before working hours and fixed my vehicle same day without any prior notice for a fair price. They were even willing to work with me if I couldn t make it back to the shop before closing. Fair pricing and wonderful customer service.

This shop is one of the best in the area. I have had to ask him questions about my own repairs and he is always there to help out a fellow mechanic with issues on newer or old transmissions.

I have been taking my vehicles to Joe and Tom for many years. They are the go to guys for transmission and auto repairs. Fair prices, honest repair work, and helpfull assistance whenever needed.

Make sure you record your conversation with these people because they obviously have short term memory loss. Did they get the job done yes. Did I pay far more than originally quoted for the same job..yes. p.s. Joanne the receptionist was actually really nice.
