I was visiting from the Chicago area and started having car trouble with a 13 hour trip home in a few days. Dave got my car in, diagnosed several things going wrong all at once. He took the time to explain it to me along with whats to come for my aging car. The cost was more than fair. His team was able to get me home without any trouble. So grateful. Thank you!

I came across Dave's auto through a mutual friend. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the repair. My car was on its last leg and no other means of transportation. He worked around my availability. Him & his staff got my car done asap I dropped it off the night before & picked it up the next day. I much rather go to someone that will be honest with me and not break my pocket over "add ons". I just need what's broken fixed. It may take some time patience & communication. But its worth it. Thumbs up to Dave and his staff. Thanks a bunch!Service: Engine repair

This review is overdue- I came to Dave by chance needing some serious work on my car back in May, he was really straightforward about the repairs, stuck to his word about what was needed and managed all expectations by realistically projecting additional expenses that might be incurred, was very personable while explaining things to me, and gave me a great price on all the work. He really knew what he was talking about and what to do and how to organize the work. And besides that he just is a really cool guy and easy to work with. Everyone at the shop is friendly and down to earth. This is what customer service is about. Dave didn t give me the run around, told me what he was going to do, how long it was going to take, and exactly how much it was going to cost. He knew his stuff. Immediately diagnosed the problem. Even gave me a ride to pick up when it was done. All the other chain mechanics around wouldn t look at my truck for weeks out, Dave made time considering my circumstances of being from out of town. Had my truck over 3 weeks. Never got an honest answer on time frame. Was told on a Monday my truck would be ready in an hour. Was at over 2100 at this point. Don't hear back from Dave until Wednesday afternoon. When he says truck is ready $2650. Did an additional 650 without ever notifying me. As dishonest as they come.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Hes amazing! I feel as a female most automotive places try to get over on me when it comes to my car. Dave is an honest man. I will send 1000 cars to him. He always says he'll tell ya the bad news for free honesty is key. If he feels it can wait to be done or needs attention right away he'll let ya kno straight up!! Very attention e to what's going on I've had my car 5 yrs maintained oil changes tire rotation and recently my air intake injector w.e broke they worked on it knowing I needed my car to go to work. Great people!

Excellent experience at Dave's! I really appreciate the helpful information, quick service, and availability! These guys explain what's happening with your vehicle without being condescending or trying to get you to buy more than you need, and have very reasonable and fair prices. I will definitely be back. Absolutely AWESOME service! I came to them with a difficult job because I drove my car in the north for 5 years and everything was rusted. Reasonably priced to fix my power steering line. Firestone wanted almost a grand to do it, which is probably more than the car is worth at this point.I highly recommend this auto shop!

I needed emergency service while on I495. Dave made the repairs in a first class manner and the price was much less than I would have received back home. He completed the repairs the same day. I cannot say enough about his service and good pricing. He is simply great.

Asked when brought van in if it was worth fixing and got a BS response. Should ve known better as they did an over $500 job on a van then at pick up said , the van isn t safe to drive so you shouldn t use it!!! So maybe be honest and tell the customer that before taking their money or doing any repair ??? And if they say they didn t notice til after then they are lousy mechanics to begin with. Do not go here!

Old school style shop, how they used to be. Needed an oil change, they saw me right away. In and done in under 10 minutes. Fair price. Great workers. Owner was extremely friendly & helpful too. Gave me a referral for some body work. Makes sense why they're been in business over 30+ years. Will be going back & telling every & anyone else also. Thanks Dave!

Was very surprised at how FAST he was able to fix my car! And right before the holidays too! Friendly, down to Earth, but straight forward mechanic. It is VERY hard to find a mechanic that doesn't leave you broke with your car STILL broken! So if your reading this, don't say I never gave you anything! Go to him, it will be worth the money and time!

Put simply, I am confident our car will start and not leave my fiance and 3 yr old daughter stranded in the cold. And not that one could put a price on such a thing, but it didn't break is. At a time when we're all struggling to just get by, amd he could've easily, and rightfully charged me more... That's saying alot. Not just quality, dependable work,.... But heart. Again, something seemingly rare these days. I'll definitely be sticking with these guys.

The previous reviews seem to be true. I'm happy with the work. The price was half what the dealer wanted. First thing Dave told me was that he would beat any price. So he had me at hello.

Straight forward guy , inspects vehicles for free and the price quoted for the repair is decent too. No wonder he's always busy , u better have another car if you're getting a car fixed here because it definitely takes more than a couple days to get done with the repairs

Went to Dave for a pre buy car inspection. Dave was very knowledgable and explained everything well. There was no charge for the inspection and the estimates for the recommended repairs were more than fair. Thanks Dave.

Dave's a good guy and does free estimates. Mechanics like him are a rare breed. I'd never take my car to a "stealership" when I could take it to a guy like him.
