My favorite park in Delaware. Great hiking trails, wonderful tree canopy, a long, quiet and winding river and beautiful green. There s 3 entrances, so the experience of the park you get varies. You can visit both the east and west side of the river. One side is a flat hike while the other is hilly. Lots of people fishing and floating down the river.

This park has wide trails and grand open vistas in one area. Another area offers a more intimate trail that leads down to Brandywine Creek. Great for bird watching.
