Nice gas station located right on 13 in Smyrna, and right across from the Rest Area and entrance to Rte 1. Pumps are clean and property is big. Has a convenience store on-site, as well as American Discount Liquor store. The fuel prices are competitive with other stations in the area. Also has an air compressor and vacuum on-site for tire inflation and car cleaning.

Queenie was amazing! Great customer service and amazing personality!! Had to stop in for a quick trip from Lewes to Christiana for My Dads surgery follow up and she made a very trying time in our lives so much better. She made a quick stop for bathroom and drinks a wonderful experience! Thanks Queenie for brightening up our day.

The worst customer service. My mom and I went to the restroom while my husband was pumping gas outside. My mom went in first and I was waiting to go after her. One of the ladies came over and said we were not allowed to use the restroom unless we buy something. I told her my husband was getting gas outside but she wouldn t listen. She demanded us to buy something in the store or leave. She was very rude the whole time (literally screaming at my face). When my husband came in, she asked for the receipt to prove that he pumped the gas. We decided to leave at this point. The worst customer service ever. Avoid at all costs.

The older Indian woman (presumably the owner) working the counter was very hostile and ignorant. We parked at the gas pump and after went inside to use the bathroom. She immediately chased us down until we bought something, accusing us of not being actual customers. So I bought a $2 thing of tic tacs to get her off my back. I go into the bathroom, which by the way was disgusting, and there was no toilet paper. I kindly went out and asked her for some and she angrily mumbled under her breath this is exactly why *something about people using the bathroom idk* . The soap dispenser was some dirty plastic one that was filled with water. Luckily we had hand sanitizer. When we left the bathroom she had her co worker follow us out and stare at us through the window until we left. Literally for what??? We were paying customers. Their typed sign on the door did state you had to be a customer which we were, though is that even legal for a public place not to provide a restroom? Clearly every other review has had this same experience this is actually insane why these people are still employeed. Not to mention not a single item was priced. This business is an embarrassment.

Very rude shop owner, I fueled up the car moved it nicely out of the way to let other people use the fuel pump. Went in the store to use the restroom and the lady told me very rude that I cannot use it when I m not a costumer so I told her I loved my car. But she became more rude, accusing me from lying. We dropped all our drinks and left. She s not worth to get any business.

Right off exit ramp, kind of unkept.Missing some safety equipment, empty fire extinguishers.The one squeegee I found was so old the rubber blade would not even clear the water off the windshield.THE rest area across the street has clean bathrooms. Go over there for that.

We stopped by this gas station during a recent long-distance trip. I have never encountered such a rude person before. Even though I needed to use the restroom, I had to make a purchase while my husband was refueling. To make matters worse, my car had a battery issue at that moment, and being a Sunday, it was so difficult to find a nearby technician. I was so frustrated and even though the other fuel pumps were also not in full use, the lady kept swearing at us for taking up space. Finally I found a technician and could start the engine (it took 1hr). When we saw the technician and the lady joyfully hugging each other, we could tell that they already knew each other well. So, we wondered why too difficult for the lady to contact the technician instead of swearing at us. Am I strange for expecting basic human decency as a customer?

The worst customer service. My wife and I went to the restroom while pumping gas outside. My wife went in first, and I was waiting to go after her. The lady came over and said we were prohibited from using the restroom unless we bought something. I told her we were getting gas outside, but she wouldn t listen. She demanded us to buy something in the store or leave. She was vulgar the whole time. The worst customer service ever. Avoid at all costs.

Wednesday September 13, 2023 the hose separated from the handle resulting in gas pouring on the ground, my car and me. I immediately alerted the woman at the cash register so I could get reimbursed only to be told by her that I needed to speak with the owner in the morning. My husband went back to the station because they do not have a listed working number. The same woman was there. She identified herself as the owner. She gave my husband the name of her Shell contact person whom spoke to me and e-mailed me Tuesday September 19, 2023. He requested copies of my receipts. I was only asking for the gas that went to the ground and the car wash I got immediately after leaving the station. All that being said I have not received a response nor a refund to this day, Friday September 22, 2023. Monday, I will pass this on to our attorney.

Hand written signs on the front door and then on the bathroom saying it is only for customers. We were asked can I help you? when we walked in. We said we were using the bathroom and would buy gas, and the staff said ok. There were also signs saying this wasn t the rest stop. That s what this place is - a gas station and not the rest stop on the other side of the road.

It was very windy and raining day. We stopped there and asked for the restroom and told her we would buy stuff. The cashier was really really rude and won t let us walk in by a single step. We got out and wait in the small lobby, and quickly changed a wet diaper for my baby. She rushed out and yelled to me and my baby. She was beyond mean and crazy. I would never ever go to this shall. Shall should shut down this site, it really hurts the brand. This is the worst gas station I have ever visited!

The Black lady working there was fairly rude. She wouldn t give her name (I m black also) [Just stating unbiased factz]. I m in line the manager gave a customer a pump of sanitizer to take to another gentleman at the gas pump. I then asked to used the restroom. The attendance told me its closed go to the port jon out back. Did that came in to wash my hands or get a pump of sanitizer. She then told me I can sell u one a bottle. I m not going to give you just a pump of it. Sorry. I stayed there s nothing to watch or sanitize my hands with after using your restroom. It seem disgusting to touch products for sale In the store spreading germs from the disgusting porta jon. I told her as a manager and In the business of customer service it would make since to have a place for customers to sanitize there hands after using your restroom. It goes hand in hand. I ll see if the health department is ok with this. Needless to say I d never buy anything out of there. She can t assure anything is clean plus the customer service was quite rude and unnecessary. Professionalism was left at home. Zero stars if possible.

Extremely unpleasant experience. I never write reviews, but this experience I had warranted one.Upon entrance to the store we were promptly greeted with if you want to use the bathroom you need to buy gas or purchase something. When my mother repeated that back to her just to make sure we could use it if we bought drinks, she snappily replied that s what I said. We then went to stand in line for the restroom and she screamed at us to stand next to the sink in the store so she could watch us.I have a medical condition that makes me need a restroom urgently. I also have a card that allows me to use the restroom without restrictions or the need to purchase something. Would I have had it with me and not in my car I would have presented it. Instead we decided to drive less than two minutes down the street where we got FRIENDLY service at Wawa. Your store should be educated about people with disabilities, as some disabilities are invisible and require access to a bathroom.

Cashier was extremely rude. I ve read past reviews on this same cashier. She does not deserve to work there. As my coworker is pumping gas in our company vehicle, I go inside to use the restroom. I take no more than 5 steps inside and she says yes you may use the restroom in a sarcastic manner. I reply with thank you. I take about 15 minutes using the restroom. As I walk out she is guarding the front door. She says you have to buy something sin ce you used the restroom. i respond with my coworker put gas. she says he did, not you. Nice try. Buy something. I am not an argumentative person so I just decide to buy some altoids. She then said to me you took so long your boy was out there cleaning the car. I let out a fake laugh. I then hear her mumble something else under her breathbut I could not make out her words. As I go back to my vehicle my coworker tells me this cashier went outside and asked him if he was waiting for me because he was parked for too long outside. I have read multiple reviews about her and the Owner does not apologize for the way his employee treats and talks to customers. She needs to be fired.

Raj is a great man! I was traveling from Virginia to New Jersey and lost my wallet. I didn't realize it until the next day when I was on my way bk to Virginia. I was distraught. Normally when I lose my wallet I never get it back and it take a lot to get all of my information bk. Never the less. Raj found my wallet which had no ID in it and did a lot of investigating to find me. He searched my wallet and found my dentists' number and had them call me to get in touch with him. He save me! I will never forget. Clean awesome gas station and employee! Thank you Raj

Stopped by for gas the other day and used my debit card at the pump to pump gas. I pumped $3.78 into my tank before the gas flow abruptly stopped and the screen indicated that the pump had been stopped by the cashier. Before I could even gather my things to go inside and investigate, a woman comes up to my personal space yelling that I owe the lady two pumps down $3.78. Come to find out, the store had put gas on the wrong pump and stopped the gas flow on my pump once they figured that out. But instead of coming out and calmly explaining the situation to me, the store employee decided to be unnecessarily unprofessional. After some confusion on my part (no vest, name-tag, etc to indicate this woman even worked at the store), and her aggressively telling me that I needed to come into the store and give them cash, I agreed, but said I would check my bank account real quick to make sure the money hadn't come off my card. This seemed to further agitate the employee (as if my taking a moment to check my account before handing them cash was going to be such an inconvenience and hold-up to the other customer, even though the mistake was on the part of the store?!? While handling everything inside, I did verbally mention that I didn't appreciate the approach, and was then told "you could be the type of person to drive off after stealing someone's gas"?!?!?!?! Literally some of the poorest customer service I've ever encountered. You DO NOT approach your customer as if they are a thief, especially if the mistake is on your part, and especially not over $3.78. She never apologized for her approach, she never apologized for escalating the situation, and she never apologized for her "thief" comment.

The female employee in the store was rude. As soon as I entered a store I was told that I was not allowed to use the restroom unless I buy something ( my husband was actually getting gas while I went in the store ).she also said I m not allowed ( ????) to use the trash can inside of the store. After using the restroom I looked at the selection of hot drinks - one machine was out of order and they didn t have hot tea, which Is the only thing that I would get since I had to buy something for using the bathroom. I told her that and left the store, as I was leaving she was saying something rude again ( about me having an attitude or something - I didn t catch what exactly she was saying). We travel by car A LOT and it s the first time we had this weird experience at a gas station. I d say having employees like that is the best way to go out of business.The incident took place on Nov 27th, around 4.30 pm.

Went here to get gas but first had to use the restroom. Before I got to the bathroom an employee stopped me and said the restroom wasn't public and I couldn't use it. I told her I was getting gas and she said she would have to hold my credit card until I was done. What? I said forget it and filled up my tank elsewhere. I don't know who reads reviews on gas stations but avoid at all costs.

My friend and I (both 22) came here after a long 4 hour drive from NY to get snacks and use the bathroom. The moment we open the door the cashier didn t great us with a hi how are you? But instead with a BATHROOM ARE FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY . Right after us an older gentleman walked in and she didn t say anything to him whatsoever. Extremely rude employees and horrible customer service. We also witnessed them turn a family with young kids away from using the bathroom after they filled up their tank with gas. Would not recommend

Disgusting bathroom, no toilet paper. The gas pump stops randomly while you're using it so you can't tell if your tank is full. Lady who owns/manages the store was rude. Find another gas station.

I went in this gas station to get a snack for a long drive, I was then harassed for using the restroom after my purchase. The owner then yelled at anyone coming in asking if they were paying customers. When i was in the restroom i could hear them complaining of how long i was taking even though i was in there for a total of 3 minutes. she pounded on the door and was yelling at me to come out. They had NO toilet paper at all and no paper towels. SOOOO OVERPRICED. I m thankful i m not a man because apparently the urinal only gets flushed TWICE a day because it would flood the bathroom and use too much water . Ridiculous. Never coming here again.Shell Owner: Do not respond to this. This location needs to be shut down.

Before we were even in the door lady pretty aggressively said we needed to buy something to use the bathroom. She practically interrogated my kids. Bathrooms were disgusting. No soap just lotion. Handwritten sign in bathroom warning to not use more toilet paper squares than necessary. Very unpleasant experience.

Unbelievable experience. Was told to buy something the moment I went into the store with my wife. We went into use the bathroom and get food. Coffee machine wasn't working. 4 signs covered the bathroom door telling you to buy something. The cashier followed up 3 times to buy something which we did. She told us to go to a rest stop next time. Gladly.

Just like every other review .Very rude worker and owner at this store. We stopped at this gas station to grab some drinks and use the bathroom on our way back to Va. We walked in and immediately was told by the worker very rudely that we could not use the bathroom unless we were purchasing gas that they did not have a public bathroom. We told her we were purchasing drinks and she kept being very rude about it. She then told us we could not use the trash cans inside and that we would have to walk back out to the gas pumps and use those trash cans. She followed us out of the door to our car and kept being rude to us because we called her out on her rudeness and racist behavior. This place needs to be shut down. ZERO STARS!

Three of us walked in to use restroom. Worker behind the counter demanded we bought an item to use restroom. So I went to purchase a package of crackers and she claimed that wasn t enough merchandise to be using the bathroom. We all were shocked how ridiculous the whole situation was. Walked out and didn t buy crackers.SHELL OWNER!!- Do not respond to this comment with your generic response because clearly your comments hold 0 weight because nothing has been done about the extremely horrible service and harassment of customers. There are paying customers who are still being harassed for using the restroom. Not acceptable.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Management was rude. My husband and I stopped (towing a trailer) to get hot dogs or food for the kids and use the bathroom for my 5 and 2 year old... we went in and I bee lined to the bathroom with my 5 year old while my husband went and looked for food. The woman immediately told my husband the restroom was only for customers, we were already looking to buy food which was why we stopped in the first place...we were towing a bathroom with us!!! Girls and I went to the bathroom and my husband was told again to purchase something. No fresh food was on premise and after the pushy behavior my husband decided to buy a soda. I got out of the bathroom abd asked what we were getting, husband said it was overpriced and just got a soda....on the way out the woman rudely told us next time to use the rest stop down the street and not come in her store very rudely. The bathroom was poorly kept and no good convenient store food present. Keep going. Don't spend any money here.

Cashier was incredibly rude upon entrance. I entered with a group of other customers behind me to use the facilities and get a drink. Being that I had been on the road and this was a quit pit stop, I wanted to use the bathroom first. The cashier was highly unpleasant and proceeded to yell at the customers that we cannot use the restroom if we do not buy anything- mind you, we weren't even given the opportunity to let the door shut behind us before assuming we weren't going to buy anything. Again, the group behind me was not with me and I made it clear. I ended up walking out, but our 4 kids wanted a drink and to use the bathroom, so my fiance brought them in and grabbed our few little bits of garbage from our previous stop to throw away. They were greeted at the door by the cashier and my kids were told they cannot enter and they needed to throw their trash away across the parking lot. My fiance being a few steps behind asked her to please not ask our children to walk across a busy parking lot and he will handle the trash for them. They were denied the restroom and they put up a sign saying 'restrooms closed'. I wouldn't spend a dollar here. This cashier lacked any sort of respect for literally everyone around her. Highly unprofessional and extremely rude.
