Matt is an absolute perfectionist. Drove over 2hrs to have work done to my Shelby. There were some unexpected parts and work that needed to be done but every step of the way I was getting updates and the progress of the project. The work performed was honest, reliable and quality. If you are looking for custom work for your Mustang/Shelby or what have you this guy is top notch bar none!

When you have a modified Ford Performance vehicle and want someone to work the drivability bugs out or extract the maximum performance out of your ride, then Matt should be your first choice. My V8 Miata, 331 stroker conversion car was a disaster with so many glitches and drivability issues, but Matt has now made it a dream to drive.Matt has a unique personality with great patience to explain and communicate with his customers and their needs. He also stands behind his work. I highly recommend the services of "Performance Evolution!"

Best performance shop I've ever worked with. Matt is an absolute perfectionist, and more knowledgeable about Mustang/Ford performance than anybody I've ever met. He's done two of my cars, both of which were finished quickly, at a reasonable price, and with the highest quality work.I cannot recommend him more highly if you have a mustang or other fast Ford you are looking to get worked on.

Matt is awesome. One of the most knowledgeable mechanics I have met. He has never steered me wrong. He truly cares about your car. Very reasonable and trustworthy . I would highly recommend this shop over any other in the area. He does his best to keep cost down and exhausts every option while diagnosing the car.

My friends and I affectionately call Matt mustang Jesus. I would not trust anyone else with my Cobra. I only have positive things to say about my experiences here. Just wanted to take a minute to recognized the team from Performance Evolution. I'm the senior consultant for Porter Automotive Group of Newark Delaware and I've been here at this location for 31 years. I've known Matthew for many years and there is no one, that I know of, more professional and competent with regard to the Ford product! But, more than just great And timely service, is the FACT, that he consistently renders that service, in a ethical manner!". 100% recommend. Matt is exemplary in the way he conducts himself as a person and in his work. He diagnosed and fixed issues on my recently purchased '08 GT500 that other people missed. He made my car right, then implemented his initial plan for increased performance, and laid out the path forward to further excellence. Extremely knowledgeable, patient in his thorough explanations, Matt is methodical and meticulous in his work ethic and attention to detail. A+

Just realizing I hadn t left a review last year when I brought my 2015 GT here due to issues with wheel spacers. Was overjoyed to find a shop primarily dedicated to servicing Mustangs, and just one town away. Owner was an even greater blessing. Friendly, understanding and tolerant of my limited knowledge. My experience with having Matt perform modifications on my Mustang was absolutely fantastic. He possesses a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of the car, was consistently responsive in our communications and proudly took the time to point out and explain the work he had performed. Despite the 90 minute drive for me to get to his shop, I will absolutely use him again once I decide the next level I want to take my Mustang to.Update (April 2021): Stopped by Performance Evolution the other day to remedy a puzzling issue with my Mustang. Just like my first experience with this shop, Matt was able to quickly diagnose the problem and perform the massive surgery necessary to correct it in a very timely manner. In all my 50+ years of owning cars, I've never had as consistently positive experience as I've had with Matt working on my car. He's exceptionally knowledgeable and competent, has excellent customer service skills and, most importantly, an extremely high level of integrity. I'm so fortunate to have discovered Performance Evolution and give this Mustang performance shop my absolute highest recommendation.

I just had rear suspension work done on my 06 GT and I must say Matt is a master of his craft and a all around great guy. He isn t in it just for the money like other shops tend to be. He truly cares about his work and customers as well. He s very knowledgeable , detail oriented and informative. I ll definitely be back for my future projects.

I drove an hour to this shop. Matt was great, honest, and knowledgeable. If you have Ford and want some aftermarket stuff this place is where you need to go. I was very impressed and satisfied after my visit today.

Just had a bunch of work done and I m extremely happy with Matt s work. This guy is a Ford performance/Mustang wizard. He s tremendously knowledgeable on mustangs, great to work with, takes the time to talk with you and plan out your job. He has great attention to detail and does amazing work!! I trailered my car over 3 hrs to him so it would be done right! Believe me no one else will be touching my car, He needs to be your mustang performance guy too!

Matt is an excellent mechanic he knows everything about mustangs he is very knowledgeable on the computer part of it and the engine part and he is very professional and he is the only person I would let work on my Mustang

Performance Evolution is 1000% in my book.Matt is one of if not the most knowledgeable person I have ever come across dealing with my 2012 Mustang GT. To make a very long story short. No one but Matt will ever touch my Black Stallion and I live in Baltimore, MD. Matt just installed a cold air intake and put his special tune on my car and the performance is awesome. The best way to describe it is to say the the car is now HEALTHY. Thanks Matt See You Soon.

I own an 2003 SVT Cobra that Matt installed a bigger Supercharger and performed a DYNO Tune to 6 years ago now. No question Matt is the only shop I trust with my Cobra . You'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner shop and a more knowledgeable Technician. Without hesitation I recommend Performance Evolution for all of your Ford performance needs.Service: Auto engine tuning

I make the drive from Annapolis, MD to have Matt work on my car. This is the second tune, and as the first time, Matt was great.I had a host of other issues from me installing my new engine that he fixed. He is very professional, service oriented, honest and knowledgeable. He's half mechanic,half computer geek,its cool to see him work.

I took my 2011 Mustang GT/CS to Matt to start the process of getting the most of the car. Matt was extremely collaborative and asked many questions to help provide me the best course of action that fit my needs. He explained everything in great detail to ensure I understood the options so we could come up with the best game plan. I was coming from a long distance, and Matt worked into the night to finish my car, spending time away from his family to make it happen. When I picked the car up, he went through everything with me, again taking the time to explain in detail what was done. The work that was completed included replacing the shifter with an MGW short-throw shifter, a tuning kit, and some exhaust work. When I picked the car up and drove it away from the shop, the performance increase and drivability of the car was incredible. I can't wait to see what's next for the car. I can not say enough good things about the experience I had with Matt, he is a great guy who I look forward to working with again in the future. I now have the mod bug!!

Matt (shop owner) is definitely #1 in customer service! He takes time to talk to his customers about everything he is going to do, stays in touch during the install if it takes more than a day, and will talk to you afterwards about everything that was done. He's not happy unless the customer is. I had him install a full exhaust system and do motor mounts on my 2005 Mustang GT. Also got three tunes from him for the car. it sounds nasty and he did a great job on the install.

Called to possibly have work done on my car and was then talked down to by someone with less experience with Mustangs than me. Guess he didn't know who he was talking to but he was very condescending and acted like a know-it-all. Tried to talk bad about every thing done to my car and suggest his choices were better even though many people use the same parts as me. Suggested I didn't plan my build well but the 846 rwhp and 9 sec timeslips would disagree.For reference, I have owned, modified, raced and driven Mustangs for over 30 years both pushrod and modular to great success, this dude is a clown.

Matt provides exceptional customer support. He installed a Torsen Diff and 3.55 gears in my base 2014 Mustang GT with a 6R80. Not only did he do a great job but he did it quickly and was nice enough to take some pics of the installation process with a compact camera I gave him.

Matt is the only person I allow to touch my cars. Very meticulous and detail oriented, doesnt cut corners and I know confidently the work is done right the 1st time. Best mustang performance shop on the east coast

Trailered my 07 GT500 to Matt. I just felt my car wasn't running to it full potential with the many upgrades previously done. My suspicions were confirmed after a Dyno session. Within a very short period, he systematically figured what the problem was through he his expertize.She put down 705.73 RWHP with 698.75 lbs of torque. on pumped gas,with 18 psi of boost on a not so cool day. My car has never run better and I couldn't be happier with the results. This guy is a professional in every way, knowledge , honesty, customer service. Also Matt has a gift, a way about him were he talks to you and not at you.I recommend him to anyone who is serious about getting results.Gary Morgan
