Alex was great. He explained everything very well even down to showing me me the old part he pulled off of my car. Very fast service as well. I dropped my car off and it was done the next day. It would have been same day if not for a sealer that had to cure for 12 hours before driving. I would definitely recommend Bayside Auto to others.

We decided to take our Jeep to Bayside Auto after seeing the reviews. We were very impressed with them. The Jeep was fixed and ready days before we were expecting. He also gave us a very fair price and did not try to add on other issues which often happens. We will be using this mechanic again when needed.

Called them up for a flat tire and they were able to get me in immediately.. Fixed and good to go for a really reasonable price right away! Got a quote for brakes as well and awesome price on that for the future... My new go to shop!

I was recommended Bayside Auto Care by friend who knew Alex-the owner as a professional mechanic working on Delmarva for over 15 years. He is experienced auto repair guy with domestic and foreign trucks and cars. My Mercedes Truck has around 200,000 miles and lately it was hard to get it started. This auto repair shop is conveniently located around intersection of Route 54 and Route 20 in Selbyville, DE, right across from Harris Teeter Shopping Center. It took me about 15 minutes to get to his shop from North Ocean Pines. The auto repair shop is equipped with all brand new equipment from Lifts and Tire balancing Machine to Air compressor and Snap-On wrenches. I thought that I would need a new battery or starter, but after computer diagnostic and test-drive, Alex told me that I would need to replace crankshaft sensor. In a timely and professional manner my truck was ready by next day. After complimentary hot cup of coffee in the beautiful waiting area I paid my bill and got back on the road. Bay Side Auto Care saved me hundreds of dollars by been honest with me, not trying to sell me parts I didn t need to replace. Good Mechanics are always try to find. I found the right repair shop.Thank you so much Bayside Auto Care. I will be back for new tires, brakes, oil changes, engine tune-ups, alignment and computer diagnostics. Alex is a class guy and an Ace Mechanic. Anyone would be fortunate to have their vehicle go through his shop. Although Selbyville is not all that local to us, we would travel any distance to Bayside Auto Care. Thank you for treating us fairly and for the great service.Dave & Tina B, Rehoboth Beach

My work car is 20 years old Honda Accord . It s been good to me. In order to keep it running it requires some maintenance and repairs time to time. From brake job and spark plugs to more complicated timing belt and transmission replacement Alex always been mechanic of my choice. He never left me stranded. Even in the middle of my busy cleaning season he would stay after hours or even late at night to make sure I have my work car ready by next morning. Dependable mechanic is always hard to find. I am glad that I did. Bayside Auto Care has been a great local finding for me. I have found Alex and his staff to provide quality service at a very fair price. I recently needed to get my out of town daughter's cars AC quickly repaired. I contacted Alex late on a Thursday, he fit me into his Friday schedule and even came on on Saturday to finish the job so we would have the car back in time for her to drive home on Sunday. He has done various repairs, oil changes, brakes, AC, and inspections and I was pleased every time. They seem like honest mechanics. They explain the problem and how to fix it and they are realistic about what they can fix and how long the fix will last.The fees are posted on the wall: $99/hr and minimum of $50. So, if you come in just to diagnose a problem, you'll be charged $50 whether you decide to get them to fix it for you or not.Be aware that if you pay with a credit card you'll be charged 3.5%.

After being ripped off at Hoban's, I brought the car to Alex. Hoban's had no clue what they were doing, but Alex knows how to diagnose something correctly, and then repair it properly. I highly recommend Bayside for any of your vehicle needs!

Friendly and good service. Our car was making a strange rattling noise and we were unsure it was safe for a 12 hour drive home. They gave us a quick appointment and the problem was fixed in less than 30 minutes. They assessed the overall safety and fixed it appropriately until it can be seen by the dealer at home. I was out of town 600 miles away, visiting Ocean City, MD, and my car broke down (transmission shifter cable bushing broke in minivan). I needed to drive out of state in 2 days but no Toyota dealerships had parts within a 3 hour drive radius. My family was very anxious. Lots of vulture mechanics circling around, refusing to give indication of whether they could fix it or, if so, how much it could cost. I found Bayside and Alex thanks to my tow truck driver. Alex was honest, transparent, reasonably priced and a problem-solver. I shipped after-market parts to him, but the timing was still going to interrupt plans. Alex was generous with his time and brainstormed with me various work-arounds to make my timeline. Impressively, he always had safety and quality in mind. He refused to his credit my pressure to perform a "temporary fix.". He said he had to do it the "proper way" even if I told him I'd get the part latter. So, he devised a creative alternative to the bushing using some of his existing parts supply that was much better engineered than the OEM bushing itself. He had my minivan ready to drive so we did not miss any of our plans! He charged a fraction of what the vulture mechanics would have. And, when he received the shipped parts long after we'd left town, he gave me his email and printed out the labels and drove to UPS to process the return. I don't usually write many reviews, but for such excellent service, I wanted people to know, this place, and this owner, are fantastic.

I arrived in Ocean City this past week and found a nail in my tire. Found Bayside online and saw the many positive reviews. Though its location behind a small shopping center is not luxurious, I was very pleased with my experience. Owner Alex, though busy, brought my car in immediately, plugged the tire (could not be patched), and I was soon on my way for $20. I would definitely return if I had more serious problems.Service: Tires

Alex and his shop are perfection! I can just call or drop off our cars and he knows what they need! He s so fair and so honest. He lets you know what needs to be done and what would need to be done to keep things up. They work on our historic cars and give them love and our newer everyday. My sons Alfa Romeo gets serviced there, our Mercedes, Cadillac. We recommend all of our friends and family here !!

We were traveling from out of town and got a flat tire on the way to OC. We changed it to a spare and brought the tire in to Bayside Auto Care. They took the tire in right away and patched it for us. When it was done, they changed the tire and put the spare back in the trunk and reset all the tire pressures. We were in and out in 30 mins. Great service here!! Highly recommend.

I used faulty air at a gas station at the beach. The machine said that my tire was at a 21. Eek! I had a six hour drive back to Pennsylvania, and I was absolutely panicked. Bayside auto filled all my tires for free, and made me feel safe and confident. I highly recommend this mechanic

Alex was professional, thorough and mostly honest. He also found an underlining issue (unplugged eval hose) which he corrected at no cost aside from flushing diesel fuel accidentally pumped into my Lexus.

Great place, good price! I was driving from NC to ME and my car broke down on a Saturday morning, most places were closed but Bayside was open, took me at the last minute, and instead of saying I needed a specialty piece that would have taken days to get he fabricated the part out of copper pipe and got me back on the road in just a few hours. If I lived in the area this would definitely be my new mechanic.

Bayside Auto Care was fantastic. Service was performed quickly and the price was reasonable. We had an issue come up while on vacation and they were able to help us before we had to drive back. He definitely could have taken advantage of us as far as price (from out of town and in a bind) but I did not feel like this was the case at all! Highly recommend!

Was visiting from out of town when we caught a flat. Went to bayside and THEY WERE AWESOME! Ended up needing a new tire. They had a quality tire in shop they put on and we were in and out in 30 minutes. The price they charged was more than fair and way cheaper than I was expecting. They also went out of their way to ensure our safety with the tire selection and placement on the vehicle. Very nice people and very transparent. I highly recommend this shop to any and everyone.

I had a great experience at this shop. I needed my AC recharged and my radio was not working. My usual shop wouldn't mess with the radio and suggested that I call the dealership....called and they wanted $150 a PIECE to just look at both the radio and the AC. Just to look, not even repair. $300 for nothing. I obviously didn't go to that appointment and made one with Bayside instead. $150 and all my issues were fixed and the same day I dropped it off too. Very pleased with my experience and would definitely come here for work again and will absolutely recommend to anyone.

Alex was great. He was very busy before Memorial Day Weekend, but still took the time to assist us and get us on our way. When you are on vacation and something happens to your car it stinks. We searched for reputable auto repair shops in area as we always look to support small business. This shop had a high rating so we took the word of those reviews and were not disappointed. The owner was friendly and honest about what our situation could be and gave some options. He needed the car for a couple days to secure the part. Luckily there were a few cars on the trip that we could make that work. We walked away with a reasonable bill and a car that runs! Overall satisfied with our experience.

GREAT SERVICE! We were in Delaware for a couple of days. Live in PA. Our car suddenly would not shift. Looked online and saw great reviews.REVIEWS WERE ACCURATE! The owner looked at it immediately, then gave us a ride back to our condo. After a short while, called and said he found the problem and he would have someone come pick us up and bring us to the shop to pick up our car. REASONABLE PRICE AND WE ARE THANKFUL! Have been taking my vehicles to Alex for a few years now. Has always been quality work at a fair price. Most recently I contacted him yesterday about an issue with the brakes on my truck. Dropped it off yesterday afternoon, a few hours later he got back to me, told me what it needed and the price. He finished the job early this afternoon and I picked it up.All done within 24 hrs!
