Rob and his team provided exceptional service on my Mercedes-Benz check engine light situation. Rob explained the diagnosis quoted me an up front price (must less than the Mercedes-Benz dealership) ordered the required parts and resolved the issue in a timely fashion l. Rob and his team were delightful to interact with. I'm a strong supporter of local business. We are fortunate to have The Garage and their staff in our community.

This is a great car shop. I can see why they are number 1 in the area. The owners son stopped everything to help me because my warning light came on. He diagnosis the problem, and we decide on the soltion. First class all the way! Highly recommend: courteous, value and care

All around great experience. I was leaving for college in a few days and of course I had a bolt break on my alternator. Originally Rob (the owner I believe) said that it would be a week to complete due to their waitlist. After one day, Rob called me and told me my car was ready. I was shocked. Incredible service. He quoted me with a great price, and of course, the price was right on par with the quote. On top of that, he was honest about what he did to the car and why he did it. They recognized that I had to leave for college and did their best to fit me in. If you re in between mechanics in this area, definitely go to The Garage. They are completely honest and charge very fair prices. I will definitely come back.

Prices are way higher than average.The work is solid and fast, only reason for the two stars.I had done over a couple thousand dollars of business with them, but my most recent interaction would've merited a single star. Brought in an inherited vehicle to have the wheel locks busted off, knew my rear brakes were failing and asked for them to take a look and give me a quote.Called back asking an astronomical fee for the brake job and when I declined they decided I had to pay 50 dollars for a "brake inspection". Something that should've been done for free given past business dealings and the amount of money and work I'd given them in the past (and the fact that I already knew my brakes were failing, and even told them that).Saved 300+ dollars by taking it to a family friend, and subsequently crossed The Garage off my list of reliable mechanics. It's a shame because I used to recommend this company (always with the caveat that they are expensive), but I won't be doing so in the future.TL:DR: solid work, very pricey, and absolutely no perks or fringe benefits for return customers. Build a relationship with a different mechanic that will reward your continued patronage.

We were in Rohoboth driving around on vacation when we heard a noise every time I pushed the gas. I called The Garage and they said they could take a look at it the next day. I explained that we were on vacation and staying in Millsboro and I wasn t sure if we could safely make it to our hotel. He told me to instead stop in that day and he would take it for a drive to determine what it was. I stopped in and he didn t even get out of the parking lot before he diagnosed what was wrong with our car. It was a broken motor mount. He gave me a reasonable price to fix it and said he could have it done in one and a half hours. They got right on it and our car was fixed in about an hour and cheaper than the original quote. We were able to finish our vacation without worrying about it. I highly recommend The Garage!!! Thanks to everyone involved in fixing our SUV at The Garage!!!

Absolutely the BEST place to take your car! I for one, can drive a car but don t know a damn thing about them therefore, can and have been taken for a ride. Everyone at The Garage is kind, courteous, knowledgeable, approachable and transparent. In other words, you can completely TRUST them with your car AND your money.

Can t say enough good things about Bob and his team. Battery died and we needed to get out of our rental by 10AM on a Saturday. He told me to come in at 8 and they d get it done. And they did. Rob and Co. are the best. This is no "shade tree" garage. These technicians KNOW what they are doing, and do it quickly and at a very reasonable price. They repaired my wife's Mercedes CLK 350 's broken brake line (located above the gas tank no less) in two days. Beautiful. They have my business. On our way out of Fenwick headed to PA from vacation one of the bearings on my tandem axle trailer fried. Stuck on the side of Route 1 just North of the beach in Rehoboth. Boatus tow for the trailer would only get me 100 miles (halfway home) and the rest would be on me. Pulled the tire and bearings myself and Called several area auto repair joints and the ones that were open told me they couldn't even look at the trailer until the following week (not an Option when you have work Monday and live 5 hours away). Even when I told them I would be bringing them the hub and could run for the bearings so we could press them in in the shop in under half an hour no one would help. Until I got the folks at The Garage on the line. Good Honest People that know what they are doing but really care about the service are HARD to find anymore. They exist at the Garage. Once I got the bearings at West Marine and ensured that the spindle was not too damaged to accept the new bearings I brought them to the Garage and they had me out the door with a hub packed with fresh bearings and I was back on the road in around 2 hours. Hope I NEVER need services again on my vehicle when I am away from home but if I happen to be within 20 miles of The Garage I know where I will be going.

This place was great! We were headed home from vacation and got a low air warning. We pulled in and they took care of us right away. Friendly, fast service. Really appreciate them fixing our tire so quickly!

I picked up a bolt in my tire while on vacation. Saw the Google reviews since they were nearby and gave them a call. They literally fixed the tire and had me back on the road in less than 15 mins. Friendly, quick and painless. I would recommend going right when they open at 8am to avoid a long line. Surf bagel is 5 minutes to walk from it so you can get coffee and/or breakfast while waiting :)

I had a flat tire that needed plugged on Memorial Day weekend. Other auto service businesses said they either did not have time to perform the repair or to come back the next Thursday at the earliest.I called The Garage, they said to come in and they will fix the tire. In about 30min and at a great price, I was back on the road. I would highly recommend this business.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

Ran over a piece of metal that lodged in my tire and began a slow leak With no spare I googled tire repair and found The Garage less than a mile down the road. Made it there, and within 20 mins they had plugged my tire and had me back on the road. Zack stopped what he was working on to help me out right away, and the charge was probably half of what I d pay in DC. Super nice people and highly recommend. So this past Easter weekend I was on my way to the beach with the family. Drove 2 1/2 hours no issues, when i got into Lewes I heard some pretty bad grinding in my front end. Looked up the closest Garage, turns out it was "The Garage" so i pulled in at 4:30, they close at 5:00. I met with Rob who I found out later was the owner. He put my Yukon on the lift and checked it out, he didn't find anything obvious but asked if I could bring it in the next day (Saturday) at 9 am. So I was there at 9 the next morning, he took in right away and put it back on the lift, after about 15 minutes he had me come to the shop to show me the bad wheel bearing i had.. I had him repair change both front hub/bearing assemblies and do the rear brakes which were pretty worn while he had it.. I was quoted the price before he started and that's is what he charged, no surprises.. The whole experience was fair and honest.. Rob is a really good guy and straight forward, he tells you how it is and what he thinks which I appreciate!! Highly recommend using this shop. I will use them if ever needed again... We had such a great experience! Called in the morning to ask if they could see us same day to get our break light fixed. They looked into it right away and 10 minutes later we re back on the road. I typically don t write reviews however the owner of this place helped me out with a patching a leaking tire when I was in a bind. I was in/out in 15 minutes. Highly recommend this place.

Quick, fair, honest, and funny! So I'm from out of town and these guys got me out of a real jam. I was across the street shopping at the outlets. While I was driving around the parking lot I heard a noise coming from under the hood. Turns out it was my serpentine belt fraying away. I drove across the street to their shop where they diagnosed and fixed everything up in under two hours at a fair price. They also put me at ease with a good laugh. So happy it happened where it did and not on 95 on a Sunday night when I had to drive home. Well done and highly recommended!

I m was in town for the week on vacation and my tow vehicle for my RV started to give me problems. My check engine light came on and the engine made unusual sounds. I google d the The Garage and responded there the next morning when they opened. I explained the issues my vehicle was displaying and they immediately took on the job. Within a short period of time they advised me of the issue and offered me solutions, at which time they fixed it. They even made sure my tire pressure was good to go. Reasonable price for the job, and very informative. If you re ever in town for vacation and need a car repair, don t go anywhere else. The Garage was fantastic when I was in a pinch. I was on vacation and Thursday afternoon my starter went out. I called them and told them my situation and told them we are leaving on Saturday. The owner sent out a tow truck and picked my truck up in ten minutes. The next morning he called me with the price and said he will do his best. Friday afternoon it was done. Great service and very friendly people to work with. Thanks again Earl Hess. Highly recommend .

Have been using the team at The Garage for a couple years-they do excellent work, are fast and most important, honest.Old school shop that uses technology well-but budget extra time to shoot the breeze when you go in!!
