Peter is totally the worst mechanic I ever experienced. He is listed as an independent Mercedes Benz repair shop but in my opinion he does not have a clue. He had my car for over a month and failed to fix it. At the end my car was in worst shape when I got it back. After speaking to Mercedes Benz, they advised me that Peter could not fix the car because he does not have the right equipment to reprogram the car's software after installing the ISM only Mercedes can do that. He lied and told me he could reprogram the car's software. He made several guesses when diagnosing the car and was unable to use the scan tool properly. He tried to charge me for his labor and for towing the vehicle to make room for another car after I towed the vehicle to him. He was extremely unprofessional and does not answer the phone. He also stated he shipped my original ISM back to Mercedes without my approval and refused to give me a receipt for the ISM he claimed to have replaced. The dealer found that it was just a blown fuse and after replacing the fuse, the car started without a problem. He bypassed the starter relay by using a paper clip to start the car which I believe caused several other issues. He has ultimately cost me a ton of money and time. I will stop there but the story is more horrific. I would never take another car to R and K Motors in Delaware.Service: Transmission

Peter is the most knowledgeable, friendly and honest person, merchant and mechanic I have ever met. That said he has been caring for my family's vehicles for almost 20 years now and I have never had an issue or problem that he could not solve to my satisfaction.I trust him with my family's safety and well-being and he has never let us down.The prices are fair and the work done quickly.He doesn't offer rentals or weekend work so plan accordingly.

Peter is the best mechanic I have ever met. I hope you have a chance to talk with him and have him service your car. He recently saved my family over $150 by correctly diagnosing an engine problem with a volvo that another good mechanic misdiagnosed. He loves what he does and he does it better than anyone else.

I take my Merc 300SDL in for routine maintenance and for the sorts of things that wear out on a 20+ year old car, and Peter knows Benzes inside and out.Only issue is sometimes the calendar gets a bit full from time to time, which is a good sign if you ask me.
