I have purchased two vehicles here, one from the lot (bronco sport) and ordered the other(bronco big bend).Both times Porter Ford has been nothing but nice and straightforward.Rodney is a great sales person. Helped my mom pick her bronco sport. Went over all the bell's and whistles. Andrew helped us with financing.The second time Rodney helped with the order and Andrew placed that order for the big bend.Rob helped finish everything.Nothing but positive interactions both times.Will be back!

I had a great car buying experience at Porter Ford. My salesman Chris, was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He wasn t at all pushy like I had experienced with other salesman at prior dealerships. Chris and his team made the entire car buying experience as stress free and easy as they could. I am completely in love with my new Ford Escape. Chris went above and beyond to show me how to work all the new technology and bells and whistles in my new vehicle. I will be returning to Porter Ford for my future vehicle purchases!

The Porter Ford Team, Newark Delaware, made my car buying an awesome purchasing experience. Frank F, my Sales Professional, did an awesome job. Very seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Frank was always available and answered all my questions. Very product knowledgeable on the Ford Escape 2023. Frank, was very exceptional and upfront when we reviewed the final numbers on the vehicle. Since I purchased the 2023 Escape out of state Frank delivered my New 2023 Ford Escape Elite to my front door in New York I ll be back to buy again at Porter. Very happy with my New 2023 Ford Escape Elite. Great Job Frank! Highly recommended!

Recently upgraded to a newer vehicle at Porter Ford dealership. I received several calls from dealerships but I had a price I could afford in mind. Only dealership who worked with me to get a bery nice and affordable vehicle. Everyone was so nice and friendly,even the sales reps walking about. This was one of the nicest experience. Financial guy went over everything and asked questions. He seemed very low key type but he turned out to be a hoot! Very personable and nice. And Frank was very knowledgeable, reviewed everything about the vehicle with us and made sure we had the ford app ready to go. I even received a follow up call a few days later to make sure all was good. I even plan to get my oil changes complete at Porter. I would recommend using this dealership.

I purchased my 2017 f-150 from Porter Ford just this past month. I had a great buying experience with Michael and the financing team. When I walked in I already had pre-approval from my bank which they were able to beat. On top of that I wasn't expecting a lot since I had been to 7 other dealerships and felt the vehicles were not in good condition and were to much for the price. I found that the truck was in great condition and a excellent price. One or two concerns I've had so far they were promptly able to help with. I rarely give reviews on dealerships but they have been the best I've delt with so far. I will update if anything changes since I've had the vehicle under 2 weeks so far but I don't expect their service to be negative in any way if there was an issue.

I had the most wonderful, stress free experience buying my suv at Porter Ford. I inquired by phone as to the availability of the vehicle I was interested in and spoke with Jillian Porter. I set up a time the following day for a test drive and was met at the door by Coco, the most adorable labradoodle, and Jill. Coco was spending time with her Dad at work because she lost a sibling recently. Personally I think she should be made the Porter ambassador. I test drove the vehicle and we came to terms rather quickly and painlessly. I have been around the block a few times and have purchased many cars in the past 49 years that I have been driving, so I was somewhat wary. When I went back today to pick up my suv I was delighted with how smoothly things went, despite a faux pas on my part. The best way to describe the whole thing was a relaxed car buying experience, with no pressure whatsoever to purchase anything you didn t feel you wanted. The GM came over to shake my hand and personally thank me for buying my vehicle at their dealership that first visit. The Finance officer, Rob was wonderful today as well, even though we weren t financing. He made the monetary part go very smoothly! I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Porter. Great experience at Porter Ford. Found the perfect certified used car I've been searching for over the last year. My salesman Frank was very respectful of my time constraints as I drove over an hour to check everything out. Very easy to deal with, no high pressure sales. Salesperson Frank F. was great to deal with: Friendly, welcoming, and listened to our needs and wants and worked to get what we asked for. Management worked well with us to get the financing where we needed it. The 2022 Ford Explorer we bought is a great vehicle and was maintained well and cleaned by Porter Ford. This was our first Ford we have bought in our family for 2 generations, and we're happy with it. Great overall experience.

I had a great experience at Porter Ford and would recommend this dealership to everyone. I called to see a 2021 Mustang Mach E. When I arrived, they had it waiting for me in front of the showroom. My salesman Rodney was helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Gary in the finance department worked hard to get me the financing I wanted and the purchase process was easy and fast. I have purchased a lot of cars where I was at the dealer all day knowing which car I was there for. At Porter Ford, I was in and out in less time than ever before. They did not pressure me like some dealers do even though I was looking at a hard to find car. Thanks to Rodney, Gary and everyone at Porter Ford.

Top notch service! Car broke down out of state and had it towed back here. Casey and Lorenzo are the best. Casey coordinated the efforts with the logistics company for drop off and made me feel at ease after verifying my extended warranty plan. Lorenzo has been keeping me informed of all repairs while getting me taken care of with a free loaner Long time customer and they always provide 5 star service!

I had the greatest buying experience recently with Jill Porter! Buying vehicles is one of my least favorite things to do. Jill made me feel comfortable with absolutely no pressure. She was patient and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend Porter Ford. I ve dealt with other staff members at Porter over the past few weeks dealing with my other vehicle as well. They ve all been exceptional.

Bought a brand new mustang for an impeccable price and outstanding service from Frankie F. in sales. Frankie was so knowledgeable about the ins and outs of my vehicle you d think he was selling 45 of them a day. He stated more than once to reach out anytime if ever needed anything, happy to help with anything needed for my car in the future. I didn t feel rushed, bombarded by sales or dealership employees as I ve had in the past. The staff were so patient welcoming and kind. It was nice to feel no pressure walking in there. I had been shopping for a truck for over two months and visited countless dealerships around the MD, DE, PA and Virginia areas. I made the trek up to Porter because they had a few used trucks that appealed to me. My salesperson, Jillian, was very helpful online prior to my visit and din't engage in the usual "how do we get you in here" mentality nor did she approach me with an assumptive close. When I did visit to test drive the trucks, the process was fast and I did not see the usual tactics to keep me there and try to pressure me into buying something that day. Very old school approach. No heavy pressure. Questions answered. They resepcted my time and understood where i was in the buying process and welcomed me to finish my test drive of other cars at other dealerships. When I narrowed my selection one of their trucks, they negotiated with me in a forthright way without a bunch of pressure tactics and the closing was smooth and fast without the dreaded finance manager upsale approach. No pressure. They prepped the car and walked me through to the features, filled the tank and i was on my way. Compared to the folks i dealt with at all the other dealerships, Jill and the team treated me great. Highly recomended.

Walking into the dealership I was greeted by smiling faces and a sense of welcoming. I visited the dealership with my father in hopes of checking out a 22 mustang gt premium California package. We inquired about the vehicle and test driving it was simple. Keys were given and off we went. Everything was at our pace and there was no rush or sense of pressure to buy the vehicle. Shortly before beginning the deal salesman were interchanged as jon was helping out Chris. The transition was seamless and no bumps or hiccups were made during the process. Both salesman were kind and did not pressure me into a purchase, I have no complaints of either, both great individuals to do business with. I was interested In the vehicle and struck a deal that was respectful to both parties. Paperwork was signed and filed and you can tell the salesman are true car enthusiasts. I will be spreading the word of my experience to friends and family, and if you re in the market for a mustang or sports car, ask for Christopher Drew Mann and Jon Nace.

In September of 2023 I purchased a used 2015 Nissan Frontier from this dealership. Within the first week I noticed a heating issue with the truck. After several visits back to the service department, they eventually replaced the engine coolant thermostat. After retrieving the truck, I immediately experienced issues with the temperature gauge fluctuating and the fan running nonstop. I was initially told this was normal operating status for the vehicle and they were not able to duplicate the issues. Fast forward four months later, the vehicle has finally been fixed at my expense. In the four months of ownership, the vehicle has been in Porter Ford's service shop as well as a local Nissan dealership for the same reported issues for approximately 2 months. Out of pocket, I have spent approximately $1,000 not including over a half dozen trips taking the vehicle back and forth to the dealership from Maryland to Delaware. Ultimately, it was determined the service department at Porter Ford installed an aftermarket thermostat and the incorrect coolant which caused the subsequent issues that I experienced. I reached out to the service department to determine if I would be re-imbursed for the cost and inconvenience experienced by the defective part and improper installation performed under the 3000 mile warranty provided by the dealership. I was informed this week that the owner decided not to honor my request. I am extremely disappointed by this experience and would like to give insight to anyone else that may be looking to buy a used vehicle from this dealership.

I was intrigued in the new Ford Bronco. So after a few visits to other dealers, I visited Porter Ford and met Frank Fragale.Frank was very easy to work with and we took time to test drive/ look around at options on what I wanted. We found a great SUV and came to a deal, I'm very happy! The entire team was easy to work with and were extremely patient with me. Rob made the financial closure effortless and we talked shop about features of my new Bronco (I learned quite a bit in these discussions as well). What a great group, no haggling at all, they just helped me by taking time to give me the facts I needed to make a big decision that I'm now thrilled with.We're so happy, that we mentioned this to a family member who is now going to meet with Frank to see if Porter Ford can work with him on a deal.If you go to visit Porter Ford, look for Frank Fragale, and just know that all team members I engaged with were simply top notch.

This is my 4th time dealing with the service dept. here at Porter Ford, in Newark, DE. Each time I have come in, the service is worse then the time before. The last time I was here they were replacing a tire that wasn't holding air, and they informed me that the other rear tire also needed to be replaced. I scheduled for an oil change and to have the tire taken care of. Well, after being at the dealership more than 2 hours, they couldn't figure out which tire needed taken care of. After speaking with the service advisor, they determined they were changing the front tire instead. That took about another hour. What a joke!!

March 2024 Update:We ordered another vehicle through Porter Ford and worked with Frank again. Nothing has changed in the slightest, and that's a great thing. The delivery process took longer than expected due to recent events in the industry, and Frank kept us informed every step of the way, usually giving us info on production days before the media was even reporting on it. Once again, we had a no pressure, relaxed, and overall great experience with Frank and the rest of the staff at Porter Ford. If you're in the market for a Ford, I can't recommend this team enough.2022 Original Review:Our salesperson, Frank, was great. We ordered a vehicle through Porter Ford and he explained every option and upgrade in detail and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Our order took a bit with the supply chain backups, but Frank kept up communications the whole time and ensured we were informed. Overall, it was a good purchasing experience.
