I had a flat tire and did not have much time before I needed to go get my kids from school. Nick and Kyle were terrific. They put on two new tires for me and had my car finished within an hour. I would definitely recommend Palumbo s. Thanks again for your help and great customer service, Nick and Kyle.

I needed advice on getting new tires and rims on my Jeep so I decided to try out Palumbo's Car Care since they were very close to where I live. I was not disappointed at all. Tim helped me figure out the best combination that I was looking for. Set an appointment and loved the results of the new tires and rims. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Outstanding service!! I was in from out of town and had a gouge in my tire sidewall. I had to be at the airport within the hour(on a Saturday). Explained the situation to Kyle. He took action immediately and got my tire replaced under 40 minutes! Both Kyle and Tim provided courteous, quick and excellent service. I highly recommend Palumbo Car Care, thank you for helping me out of my nightmare scenario!!!

Just bought new tires for a 1967 Chevelle. The tires were ordered and arrived next day as promised. The service provided by Kyle was EXCELLENT. Toby the tech who balanced and mounted the tires was also amazing. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that wants a great tire and fantastic job done. I have used them for years and been satisfied , but lately I have been disappointed. A little over a year ago I went to the with a nail in a tire. They said they could not fix and I needed new tire, which I thought was odd as it was not that close to sidewall. Then they said, since your other 3 tires are worn your ride will be off, so you need all new ones. So I got 4 new tires.Fast forward a year later and I get a screw in a tire on a newer vehicle. (9k) miles. Same deal, can t fix, need new and at minimum I should get 2 and put them on rear of truck. This screw was actually closer to sidewall than nail was.I left, went to another place and they patched tire with no issues. 7k more miles on tire so far.So it seems as if the last 2 times I have been there they have tried the can t fix, need new sales pitch. I fell for it once as my tires did have 40k on them and tread life was rated 50k, but the second time I am glad I did not as my truck tires run about $400 each.I get it, it is all about making money. However, treat a frequent customer correctly and you will never lose their business.Service: Tires

The wonderful team at Palumbo s truly saved me! Got a flat on 95 during a long road trip and couldn t find anywhere nearby to replace my tire as many were closed. Kevin said come on by we ll have you out and ready before we close at 3, and they delivered. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and got us on the road as fast as they could. Last fall I was returning from football practice with my grandson and stopped at Red Robin across the highway from Palombo s Car Care Center, while parking my GMC Serria truck the shifting cable broke and I couldn t move the truck, I had it towed to Columbo s car care since I have had repairs and tIre work there before, it was after hours so I called them 1st thing the next morning to see if they could handle my repair, after talking to the service representative I was very pleased that they took on the repair and had my truck done as soon as they received the Parts.I highly recommend this business, very Professional staff, reasonable pricing and Very efficient work, I will definitely be using Palumbo s in the future.

My husband works at one of Newark s road construction sites which is a 2 1/2 drive from where we live. On his way to work on Friday morning, he hit something and his tire went flat; was actually completely slashed. He requested that I come up there and take his tire and get a new one so he didn t have to miss work. After trying to get a new tire put on the rim, I was told by two other places that they were completely slammed and couldn t do it without a significant wait. One of the other places suggested I try Polumbo. From my first phone call, he went out of his way to get a new tire on the rim and send me on my way within an hour. I obviously don t live locally, but I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for fair and good service. Thanks again for making my bad day a little easier.

Meineke Elkton is my current go to place now.... Palumbo's tried to sell me every possible brake service available ~ $1,400 worth if I remember correctly (including a Rotors, "flush", and possibly drums). Thankfully I happen to "know a thing or two" just arthritis keeps from doing the work. I tried to give them another chance to be more honest about what was actually necessary for my car... they FAILED ( I sent the sales manager back to the tech to ensure he was talking about the SAME CAR!). In the end I went to my current Service folks Meineke Elkton.Meineke done an equally or even more thorough brake inspection (including a road check) can't remember my vehicle leaving this place for a road test during that inspection. In the end Scotty @ Meineke charged me $132 for the front and told me to come back in about six months to "look" at the rear brakes. I can't remember how many years ago this was but I still have the same rotors that these guys said were "toast" ~75,000 miles ago.

I used to always recommend these guys to people. Today I showed up with my fiances suv to have 4 tires mounted and valve seals replaced. Was told $38 a tire, $15 per valve seal. $212. Somehow all said and done the total was $270... I actually said ok and left. Called NTB, which is across the street, on the way home just for a 2nd opinion... quoted $108 for everything all said and done... went back to pick up the car and tires from palumbos and my fiance was told "good luck" when she got her key fab back. $160 difference.... unless NTB forgets to tighten the lug nuts, I'll be going there from now on.

Used to swear by these guys, but when I took my truck to them this time, I ended up waiting two weeks on a diagnostic because "their mechanic was on vacation in Japan". Afterward, they went straight to asking to change the distributor for $1000+ and potentially fuel injectors for another $1300+ in addition to the $130 diagnostic. Instead, I had it towed home, changed the distributor cap on a whim for $50, and it ran fine again. These guys would've upcharged me by thousands and left me waiting nearly a month in the process. Never taking anything back here.

These guys just saved the day for me (for probably the 4th time, too). Drove over a nail and had to put on the spare on the way home from Baltimore. Called just after 5 to see if they would have any availability to help me out when I got back, even though they close at 6. Well, Kyle and Tim made it happen! Getting here by 5:30, it was in the shop getting patched within 5 minutes. They ve saved my butt before and today they did again!Update: Solomon did a great job getting my tire patched up and got me back on the road!

Made a 4:00 appointment. I arrived 12 minutes early to just have my tires topped off with nitrogen. I was told over the phone $40 dollars but after they took my information and asked me to have a seat then they came up and had advised me it would be $83 dollars. Wasn't to happy about this but I agreed. I waited until 4:30 and asked for my keys back. They must have over booked but waiting 30 minutes for my tire to get filled. Not a apology from them. Not sure if I will go back...

Had tires done, they didnt reset the tpms correctly which is fine I get it but try and resolve it or tell me why, second time they told me "it might work this time but we will see". After the tires were installed no sooner did i leave the parking lot it felt like i had a death wobble at 40mph and then at 60mph (it was not a jeep fyi) its a 3500 pickup. So take it back to them by making another appointment, guy sounded annoyed when i told him the tires needed to be rebalanced, So they have it all day and tell me at the end of the day it needs the beads to balance them and theyd have to be ordered. Question is why would you not have done the beads when i got the tires installed, instead of letting me leave without balanced wheels/tires. Not only that but now i need to make a third appointment for something that shouldve been taken care of in my first appointment. Very unprofessional in my opinion. It is a fleet vehicle, sadly i have to go to a goodyear dealer or else id go to who i want. Now i guess i have to find another goodyear dealer

This is a poorly run business that I will never return to or recommend.First they charged me $150 OVER my quote for a front brake overhaul because my vehicle requires premium grade rotors .After only 10 months, the premium rotors had warped and needed to be resurfaced. Instead of standing behind their work, and choice of parts, they blamed my .5 hub spacers. Stating the spacers add extra load to the axle and caused the rotors to warp . An absurd allegation. Especially considering they knew the spacers were there when they did the work initially, and if they re such an issue then that could have been disclosed before-hand.There was ZERO attempt to try and work out an amicable solution by management. None. Their stance was here s what it will cost you, like it or not . I hastily picked up my vehicle and choose another shop to patronize.These people must think that nobody knows anything about cars. Choose VERY wisely where to spend your money.

They were great in every way. But, I was surprised they charged for delivery. I did not place a special order. These were ordinary tires that should have been in stock. It was never mentioned there d be a delivery fee, and I did not think to ask. Live and learn. Hopefully, others can learn from my mistake.

I love this place!! I am from out of town, was in for my daughter s surgery. Unfortunately I ran over something in a construction zone by the hospital. Had no idea until I went to leave and the tire was flat. Called 2 other places and couldn t get the tires in time for me to head home today. But Kyle and Polumbo s came through and saved the day. So courteous and fast. Got the tires in this afternoon, then called and we got them on in less than an hour! I am heading back home soon thanks to them. Very thankful and impressed!! They are AWESOME. THANKS AGAIN KYLE!!!

I called them Thursday afternoon after my car started making weird noises. They took it in the next day and were extremely pleasant and helpful through the entire process! I had to stay and wait for what turned out to be a lengthy brake job, and the person helping me kept me updated the whole time. Everyone working there was helpful and friendly, and the prices were great compared to others. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning next time I need any work done on my car!

Great people! Had an issue with my vehicle while traveling. 600+ miles from home is a bad time to discover a rattle in the driveline, especially when towing a trailer! Fortunately, both Steve and Tim were incredibly helpful. Despite a busy schedule, they were able to squeeze me in for a quick diagnostic. The problem turned out to be a simple exhaust bracket that had failed, so the unsupported exhaust piping was able to flex and strike the driveshaft. That's the sound I was hearing. While they did not have a guy who could weld the bracket, they directed me to a shop down the street that was able to fix the problem and get me back on my way the same day. Very cool! I was grateful for the quick and accurate diagnosis without any attempts to upsell additional service. This is the sort of shop you want to come back to whenever you have a problem, because you can trust the people to treat you honestly and fairly. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed.

I have been going here for years and have only had good experiences. They do a good job, at a fair price but you can get that at a lot of places. What sets Palumbo's apart is there customer service. I travel a lot for work which means if there are any problems, my wife is on her one with our kid. One time she got two flat tires (we won't discuss how) and with a quick phone call to Palumbo's, they took care of getting the car towed and fixed immediately. I have several stories of the excellent customer service but this one will always stick out to me. It is good to know that their family watches out for my family.Steve, Kyle and the rest of the team....thank you.

Service excellence now has 3 new names...they are Kyle, Albert and Steve! These guys are life savers. They close at 6:00 pm and even though it was well after 5:00 pm, Kyle said to come in so when I called desperate for a new windshield wiper (that I had just broken at a nearby car wash and it started raining)! Kyle said in the short timeframe they could assess the damage to determine if it was a quick fix or if a new part was needed. If it was the latter they would place the order and fix it on Monday. When I arrived after 5:30 pm, Steve greeted me/gave me a warm welcome. He came out and examined the damage and reassured me that it was a simple fix and someone would be out to help me. Then Kyle and Albert also gave me a warm welcome. Kyle gave me even more details regarding the damageand my options. We agreed on their recommended course of action. Albert the tech changed the wiper blade in minutes. Before I knew it, they had me on my way at 5:47 pm! They were courteous, kind, honest & swift. I couldn t be more happy with their work/professionalism and I highly recommend them to anyone/everyone.

Had my car towed there and the mechanics were nothing but straight forward and honest with me. No jacked up price and I appreciate the time that was spent explaining what was wrong. Definitely a place to take your car for service if you want excellent work at an honest price. Good mechanics are hard to find, but not here
