My plan was to just window shop but I ended up purchasing a vehicle after test driving. Everyone at Newark Toyota World was great. Especially Aurora and the finance department! GIVE AURORA A RAISE!!! That lady is amazing!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!!

The service to clear up the fog on my headlight lens was unacceptable. I asked about the conditions of the lens and if they were too bad or new ones could be purchased. No, they stated this service is normal and would be like new when completed/finished. Also, they didn't clean up the mess when finishing the attempt to clearing up the lens. When looking at the photos you will be able to see the top where to be cleared up, but are still foggy. I would not recommend this service unless my experience meets your standards remember, you were warned.

While past visits were not great, my latest appointment was much more positive. Dave Ferguson was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. He kept me informed and was very helpful. I truly appreciate his assistance and all he did to make it a positive experience. Kudos to Dave for Going Above and Beyond to make this a much more positive experience then past visits. I hope your management does something good for you as you truly exemplified what GREAT customer service is all about! God bless you.

I saw Dave Ferguson for my service and most definitely he promotes the best customer service experience and is very friendly and thorough in his communication. I didn t feel pushed and he explained and showed pictures of what I needed for my highlander. I was impressed and willAlways ask for him for service in future.

My experience was excellent during my last visit. I am very impressed by the service manager, Dave Ferguson's professionalism and the way he deals with customers. He helped me with servicing my car and provided upfront details about the price and the associated job. He also shared the upcoming service needs for my vehicle.I am really happy with Dave and wish him great success.

Good experience - getting door handle replacedPoor experience - oil & lube & inspectcheck sheet didn't indicate status of many items told primarily "computer glitch"; was updated (don't know if really done). Bill said synthetic oil, not what I use; later told used reagular oil (hope correct).

Bought my first Toyota (Sequoia) in January. I dealt with a few dealers, Newark being my first. While I ended up purchasing through their sister location Price Toyota, the experience was good. Sales staff were friendly and communicated well. I love my Sequoia but it was a bit overpriced. I've heard noting but great things about Toyota vehicles so I suppose you pay a premium for this. My main complaints: I've been waiting for my 2nd key FOB for over 2 months. I also had to negotiate off a few dealer added costs that were unnecessary and felt that Toyota's $1850 dealer fee was too high.A few days ago I took my daughter's RAV 4 in for an oil change and new tire installation. This was my first time experiencing service at Newark Toyota and will likely be going back with my Sequoia. My wife had always taken the RAV 4 in when it was hers. I always felt they were over priced compared to the Ford dealer I had been using for service for my previous vehicle. I was able to get a convenient appointment and the service staff were excellent.My only complaint was they performed an alignment without letting me know up front that it would be part of the tire installation at an additional cost of $140. I had gotten new tires a few times before on other vehicles and the dealer had always said an alignment was a good idea but not necessary. Like many consumers, I don't like when businesses attempt to or impose additional costs (necessary or not) without explaining or getting authorization first. I had no problem paying for the alignment but I expect everything to be discussed with me up front.

Toyota service and customer service is the best thanks to Dave Ferguson! He is very honest with his customers, goes above and beyond to provide best solutions and options with the customer in mind. We only bring our cars to Newark Toyota to work with Dave Ferguson as our service representative, even though we live far away. Thanks so much

One of the best dealers to get your vehicle serviced! I ve never had a bad experience with the service department & everyone there is professional. I would recommend to bring your vehicle here for service even if it is not a Toyota since they are capable to service mostly any vehicle. I also would like to point out that the service writers- Dave W, Ferguson , Jamar and curly are perfect examples of how other dealers should operate their service department. I personally will never take my vehicle anywhere else for service!

Minimal wait time for oil change. Polite, respectful staff. I scheduled an oil change but got a full maintenance, including tire rotation, which I didn t need. That wasn t made clear to me until I went to pay. Otherwise, I have had good experiences there.

Manny and the whole team at Newark Toyota World made the first-time buying a new car experience easy. We came in looking to test drive a 2023 Corolla with low mileage and then decided to just go with a brand new 2023 Corolla that was currently in transit to the dealership.The trade in process of our 2006 Prius was easy and we felt we got a fair deal on the value.From placing our deposit to paying and accepting delivery Manny was always available via text or email for our questions and update on our new car.We 100% will visit again when it is time to shop for another car.

I recently purchased a new Tacoma and wanted preventative maintenance service. New car prices are above MSRP, tons of unnecessary dealer add-ons that are overpriced, on top of the already high price of the car. Will not negotiate lower prices, even when you can get the same vehicle for thousands of dollars cheaper within an hour drive.They also do not care about your time. Took hours across 2 different visits to test drive a vehicle they had on the lot, bad customer service.Go elsewhere

I would normally take my 2010 Mustang GT to a Ford Dealer, but i was disappointed by my interactions. So i gave my keys to Jason who works for Newark Toyota world and told him i needed 4 new tires and the remaining portion of a 100,000 mile tune-up. He took my car, did all the work (Listed Below) and returned it in perfect condition. Now to be fair i know Jason, outside of business, but the techs in this shop have my business for the life of the car. 95,000 miles and she has a full 100k tune and new rubber all the way around. Went online and was able to schedule an oil change/tire rotation to fit My schedule. Dave Ferguson was fantastic in writing it up and even found a coupon for me to use. He was very courteous and accommodating. It's employees like Dave, who make a customer want to return for service. I was very pleased.

I can t tell you how disappointed and unsatisfied I am with Toyota World. They ve had my car for over two months. I probably received one message in that time frame giving me an update on my vehicle. Then when I finally pick my car up from being repaired, my car WOULD NOT START!!! After waiting over two months for my vehicle to be fixed and to get there and it WON T START! So no one check my vehicle out once the repairs were complete to make sure it started???? It was a matter of 4 days from the time I received notice it was done til I picked up. But I was called and told the next day the battery needed to be recharged! And I thought, wow my battery needed recharging, but you just installed a brand new battery according to my invoice I just paid for. So why would the battery need recharging. Questionable to me Then I finally pick my car up a day later, drive it for a few errands. Then the next morning I start my car and the engine light comes on. I just don t understand. My car has been through diagnostic testing multiple times. What the diagnosis was, were exactly what I paid for to be fixed but yet almost three month later I still have no vehicle and my engine light is still on. This whole experience does not give me much trust or confidence in what I m being told is wrong with my vehicle and especially what I m told was fixed. I have yet to hear from a manger despite 7 times I ve called to speak to one. The mangers always unavailable. I m just so disappointed in this auto shop. I used to have good experiences here. But as of 2023 not so much. You decide if you want to go through the same thing before you bring your vehicle here!

I appreciated how they took the time to clarify additional issues that were found and explained why I should address them rather than simply instructing me to do so with no reasoning. Very happy working with Dave F. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience. He made appropriate recommendations without trying to oversell and found rewards to apply to my service total. I purchased tires here earlier in the year so my rotation and alignment was no charge!

2 year maintenance for a Sienna only covers 2 oil changes and tire rotation. Not recommended services. The tires that come standard are at the end of their life after 22k. Got van back with tire light on. It was flicking on and off with temp change and assumed air was included. It wasn t. Worst of all it was saying it was the same tire location. Will have to mark tires to make sure they rotate. Unlikely to go back unless there is a recall.

The service department at Newark Toyota was the worst. Yesterday, I completed my service here. I am undergoing Toyota care service with a valid date and the vehicle has just reached the mileage threshold. In spite of this, they did not accept it. They charged me more money and did not provide complete information about what recommendations have to be made. The person Louis was the worst. He was rude and not prepared to provide customer service. In my opinion, management is also similar. In addition to this, I have given my vehicle for a minor dent. They replaced my bumper and sensors and claimed the amount. My vehicle was kept at their facility for more than a month. I would give a Zero rating and would not recommend anyone to go here.Don't work with Louis and this Newark Toyota DE, the management has the worst behavior.The worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Dave Ferguson was my advisor for my service and it wasn t great. I brought my RAV4 in for a routine oil change and provided him with the coupon that was mailed to my house specifically for the RAV4. Right from the jump, Dave advised there was nothing He could do about the coupon bc it wasn t for the right oil. I then asked that Toyota stop sending me coupons for my vehicle that I couldn t use and he stated I had to call corporate - which I have done multiple times.Dave stated that he understands that im upset but that I would receive a survey based on my experience with him and I shouldn t rate that survey based off of that . Like what????I then asked if there was anything he could do, and he said no. Then I advised him that I had Cheryl last time and she was amazing bc she was able to honor the price of the coupon that was mailed to my house. He stated oh, that s a good move on Cheryl s part.. I ll lower it $7 which is obviously better than nothing.I fail to understand why some service advisors aren t able to think outside of the box and actually HELP their customers especially if their main concern is getting a good survey score.
