I want to express my gratitude to the kind staff at Mavis Discount Tire. After experiencing a flat tire in the rain, I was concerned about my safety. Despite the store being closed, a gentleman opened the door, listened to my situation, and provided assistance. Their excellent customer service left a lasting impression on me, and I truly appreciate the small gesture. Despite what was probably a long day at work, they greeted me with exceptional customer service that exceeded my expectations.

I had a great experience with Mavis Discount Tire. I have a Tesla and got a deflated tire on my way to work. I called them in the morning and they were able to work on my tire the same day. Customer care was outstanding. Service was excellent. I would 100% recommend them.

From the time I walked in the door till when I checked out....These guys were awesome. They were very busy but I felt they took the time to explain my wait time and what to expect and they delivered! I will tell all my family and friends about Mavis tire and this hard working crew

Experience was great got my oil changed recently and LED lights installed by Mavis tires. The staff is friendly and will give you the best advice for your vehicle. I would highly recommend Mavis Tires for anyone having trouble with their vehicles in the future.

my first experience with Mavis was great. The staff did not make me feel like they were taking advantage of me as I have experienced at other places. The price of repairs were very reasonable and i will continue to use Mavis for all of my car repairs.

Omez was super helpful & kind!! My coworker called & asked if they could patch up my tire & he said to come right in & they ll take care of me right away! I was in & out within 20-25 minutes. Great customer service.

Talk about patience. These guys took their time to install my new tires on my new 22 rims I just bought without a scratch, so it took longer then expected but you can t rush anything like this without having accidents. Thank you Matt for making sure my rims didn t get wrecked.

Mavis, has excellent customer service and timely delivery of one s service. I went in for tires but came out educated on several other issues but no pressure to get them serviced. They communicated the top priority items without me feeling pressured to get it all done at once. Good pricing and I will continue to allow them to service my vehicles.

I ve been getting my services done at this Mavis location for about 2 years and it s always a great experience. I ve received oil changes, new tires, and other maintenance services for 2 vehicles. They re the most competitive with pricing in the area and always friendly. Management is fair and very accommodating.

I suppose what they say is true. Some mechanics truly do love to take advantage of young people and women. I went to Mavis Tire for a new set of four tires. On Saturday, they told me I would receive a discount for purchasing the whole set and that they could replace the flat tire I had on Sunday with the rest being replaced on a different day that week (I urgently needed the flat fixed but they did not have time Sunday to replace all four tires). On Sunday, they told me that I could not receive the discount and could not pay for all four tires at once. I had already driven 30 minutes so I went along with this, although this behavior was an immediate red flag. When I came back to get my other three tires replaced, they asked if I needed an alignment. I said they could do it if I needed one, which they said I did. SO, I pay the $99 for the alignment and the following week I go to get my state inspection done. Can you please tell me how within a WEEK I failed my alignment? How could they charge me that much money to either not do it at all or to do it so poorly that I failed? Additionally, after I left I realized my car had a new exhaust smell any time I drove it. Well, I would later find out it is because when they hoisted my car up on the hydraulics they created holes in my exhaust pipe that needed to be welded, another several hundred dollars worth of damage caused by them. That combined with the scammy conversation over the four tires really disappointed me. They were kind people to work with, I just wish they were more honest about their business practices. If you are a young woman or a person who is not going to sit and watch them constantly to make sure they do what they say they'll do without damaging your vehicle, I highly recommend you find another mechanic. Or, have fun spending thousands just because you chose this place.

I have to say that this shop it s self has to be one of thee best one around. Not only did I just come in for a simple flat fix but they informed me of everything that needed attention and what was the most urgent as we all know that in these times it s been hard on everyone. I want to thank Omais and Jamau for their help and the one guy that I forgot his name but just to say he seems so happy all the time and in good spirits. Thank you Mavis you have a new customer.

Oil change price was reasonable and the appointment availability was great. I was able to get an appointment for the very next day on a Friday. I did have to wait a while because they didn't get to my car until I was there for about an hour but it was done eventually. They also will rotate your tires for free.

In all my 25 years of life, I have never received such quick and iconic service for my vehicle. I needed a new light bulb for my passenger headlight and I was in a bit of a time crunch. I was able to not only have my light bulb replaced, but the service was executed quickly and efficiently. Thank you to the team at Mavis that assisted me today. The manager as well too (I cannot remember his name) also gave excellent customer service. I will be frequently coming back to have my vehicle serviced. Thank you Mavis of Newark.

I highly recommend Mavis for all your auto service and tire needs. They did a great job mounting and balancing my new tires to get me back on the road in little to no time and with quality work. The employees at the Newark Mavis location are very knowledgeable, tentative, and take the time to listen and take care of any concerns. I will definitely come back.

First they put too large of tires on. Then hours later they got the correct size on. Now 6mos later I checked to balance them and they did the most outrageously bad job I have ever seen in my life. They put the adhesive wheel weights on crooked. They double stacked the wheel weights. On every single wheel. It looked worse than we ever did to anything in high school auto shop.

Never ever get tires from them. I got four new tires at a good price. 6 months later I go to dealer to get oil change and they tell that my front passenger tire is the wrong size tire. I go back and guy says he will order tire and replace. I call back two days later and tire was never ordered. Bottom line is they don t care. As you can in pics the 4th tire is wrong size

Beyond impressed with Mavis in Newark, DE. Both times I was here for tires Omez took care of me. When I needed a repair got me in and out fast! This place is the real deal.

I got my car worked on here once again today. My car needed 3 new tires, brakes and rotors and an oil change. This place continues to amaze me with their prices being extremely reasonable. Super friendly technicians. They are definitely willing to work with your budget and accommodate you. I absolutely love this place, the prices, the atmosphere and the staff. I am a loyal customer for life. Highly recommend anyone to come here that wants affordable pricing and great services and for the technicians to actually do a wonderful job and really address your needs.

Great for Maintenance Jobs!Customer service from the service writers is top notch. They made sure that I got all the discounts and coupons that I qualified for. Educated me on the company policies about lifetime warranties and customer satisfaction guarantees. I got a brake job, oil change and standard quarterly maintenance services. Quality of work is good, the only Concern was the length of time it took. I was waiting for over 3 and a half hours. Luckily I had the time to invest. Some people may get annoyed at that long of a wait. I was okay with it.

Not recommended, I do not know how is that manager can continue with them. He does not even know the method of communication and to resolve issue. He tries to evade , but he does not even know how. He lies . He thinks that all people do not understand his work.I order the tires and reserve the appointment so that I would not hear all this nonsense, but when you meet with such people, you still have to deal with it. He couldn't find any word except oh we cannot do it with that prices you got online , asked why he said because you have to contact the customer service to give you that price you get online . asked him why you seen it on your hand then !! And why isn't changed the price if your is different . He said but I still cannot do with that price and asked what is your price then he give me away different than what I had .The thing is I was taking friend and family to them . But not more .

When I took my 2013 Chevy Cruze LTZ to their shop, the not only changed with water pump with no problem. They found leaks in the anti-freeze return and turbo anti-freeze return hoses. The Chevy dealer didn't notice, or care enough to let me know. They changes the water pump, those hoses and installed a new thermostat in about 2 hours. They let me see what they had to do and got it done. May car is still running fine since they worked on it. Great job! I recommend them to work on your cars, too.

Giovanni & Dominique were awesome got me in & out a bit on the pricey side...But you leave with comfort knowing they fully made sure all tires were free from any objects patch & plugged set to correct tire pressure Absolutely recommend stopping by here for all your tire needs
