Top class service experience every time I have taken my Subaru vehicle for any service needs at this location. They are very warm and courteous, keeps informed about the progress and offers loaner vehicle to its customers for longer service durations.They do care a lot about customer goodwill and recently did a repair even though it was not covered by extended warranty - out of customer courtesy since it was not bought a long time ago from the same dealership. I highly recommend both their sales and service department as we had a really wonderful experience with them so far!

I stopped in for an oil change without an appointment. The service writer, Nick, was extremely professional and took care of my car quickly. He kept me updated on the progress of my car and let me know the minute it was done. While there I spent some time speaking with people in the sales department and enjoyed talking with them.I will be buying my next car there and taking it there for service.Matt Slap is a great dealership and THANKS Nick!

The entire service from start to finish was impeccable. My car needed some routine maintenance and this was done quickly and efficiently. The place was very clean and maintained while I waited for my car to be done. Serena was phenomenal! She checked in with me through out the time I was there explaining what was going on. Definitely would recommend this place for work to be done

Everybody is very nice and professional, and my car was done quicker than I thought. My only concern is being asked to make choices of how many extra services I want for my car. I don't know enough about cars and maintenance to know what was necessary and what was padding the bill.

I recently had a positive experience with Matt Slap Subaru that went above and beyond. The staff was incredibly professional, accommodating me on short notice. Amanda, the service advisor took the time to thoroughly explain the upcoming maintenance and recommended additional care for my car. Their attention to detail and customer service made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. Highly recommended for their excellent service and knowledgeable staff.

Outstanding experience. I was met just outside the Service door and they took care of everything. Everyone was very professional and courteous. I was a walk in and the oil change, tire rotation, wash and safety check took about 25 minutes. It doesn t get any better and the coupon I used was appreciated. Well done!

What can I say? The service at Matt Slap is outstanding. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation utilizing their drive up service. I was also due for an wheel alignment and 12,000 mile service. I didn't think they would be able to do that since I didn't make an appointment. My service advisor, Nick, said that they could do it. I was going to wait, but with the added services, it would take a couple of hours. I told Nick that I had some errands to run. He was able to secure a loaner for me. The exact same trim and color as my Ascent! And, they even had my car ready at the promised time. They truly go out of their way to give you great customer service.

Melanie and Serena were delightful to work with. Service took our car with no appointment as we brought it directly from as body shop. They took our concerns seriously, as the body shop had touched so much of the front end. They called for authorization for 2 additional items. Cost was reasonable. Matt Slap makes car maintenance as easy as it can be. Highly recommend.

My family and I were visiting family in Wilmington DE when my check engine light along with a couple others came on. We took it to Matt Slap Subaru. Our service advisor, Nick, was very helpful and kept us up to date with what was happening. They were able to give us a loaner so our day plans weren t ruined. We were able to pick up the car the next day. Nick was able to comp my service as we were traveling and for the inconvenience. I would DEFINITELY recommend Nick and Matt Slap Subaru!

I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome regarding the deteriorating upholstery on the driver s seat of my 2020 Forester. I had been in contact with Subaru of America and needed an official diagnosis in order for them to consider any intervention. Matt Slap was great! Danielle, Melanie, and Carlos all treated me so well and the seat cover was able to be replaced at no charge.

Experience with the service department was fantastic. Work was completed in the amount of time they said it would take and the problem with my car was fixed. All of the staff in the service area are always kind and very helpful I really love working with them.

I was able to easily schedule my service online and I received reminders for the appointment. Drop off was easy and the communication of proposed work was clear and concise. Had perfect service. Thank you to Chris who worked on my car & to Serena at the front desk. I never have to worry about things getting done properly when I get Chris to work on my car. Will always take my car to him. In fact I drive a Jeep and drove up to Newark from Smyrna to go to him.

Nick is the best and the only mechanic at Subaru I will ever let touch my car. He is the best person at this dealership. If Nick isn t available then I m not staying. 10/10 would recommend. He s knowledgeable and knows how to get stuff done.

The people who greeted me for my appointment were very friendly. However, my car was done for a good 45 min and I had to go ask what was happening before they apologized. The girl s reasoning was she was at lunch. Are there not other people who could have checked me out? I was more than a little upset that I had waited all that time. They were not able to replicate the problem, which may be an Apple car play issue, but the fact that I could literally see my car from where I sat for 45 plus minutes while other people came and went really disturbed me.

My husband and I bought our used crosstreks here and take them in for routine service. Everyone has been great and haven t had any issues so far. Service is good, our appointments are completed in a timely manner, and we don t have to argue with them about unnecessary charges or maintenance.

All the stuff are extremely professional, and courteous. Nick kept me informed all throughout the day what was going to be done to my car. The pricewas less than what was quoted. He took it upon himself to make sure had the discounts applied With coupons. My car was ready when promised!

I always have an excellent experience taking in my car for service at Matt Slap. They re fantastic about letting me know what the charges might be ahead of time and not charging me for anything that s not necessary. Their service department is a pleasure to work with. It feels more like a local service center experience than a dealership experience getting your car serviced there; but with all of the high tech equipment, access to parts and speed of a dealership!

We have found the service department at Matt slap Subaru in Newark to be excellent excellent! Ever since we moved to Newark Delaware eight years ago, we have used them and they have been extremely helpful and honest. We are very grateful for the personalized attention, especially from Melanie and Nick. Could not recommend a service department any higher than this one!

The dealership, Matt Slap, performed routine maintenance including an oil change on my Subaru Forester. As always they did a good job; and although offered some extended maintenance, they did not push the extra service. I appreciate their professionalism and easy check in and check out process.

I had so many issues with my car and they helped my family so much! We used the night owl drop off and Serena communicated with me regularly about what was found and how to fix it. We had such a great experience, we decided to get tires from them as well. 10/10 would recommend!!

Nick is thoughtful and explains in detail any findings. If none, possible considerations for unresolved concerns.Helpful with loaner car to secure an appointment for the following day.For this service we were unable to determine why my dashboard light-up like a Christmas tree? Diagnostic done but nothing reading, or History showing of an issue. We did however resolve some upcoming maintenance, while it was in.

I can give five star rating for the customer service they provided to me. They hear all problem and provided solution with better explanations without any extra cost. This experience was great since when I bought a car and then with each service of my vehicle getting better .

I am very pl�ased with the service I got. I went on a day that I wasn t scheduled because I was in the area, and they worked mei into their schedule. I also got an answer to my question about my Car Play dilemma. Nick was very nice as were the other service workers. I am glad I bought my Subaru at Matt Slap.

They charged me $180 dollars to remove my DCM fuse because it was causing my battery to drain. Which is a know problem with my year outback. They also wanted to charge me $480 to change the spark plugs. Everyone was really nice but there pricing is crazy highWould only go back for warranty issues.

I brought my vehicle to Matt Slap Subaru because of a faulty service that was done at another Subaru dealership. When I say that my experience was absolutely outstanding I mean it. When I dropped off my car they offered to provide me with a courtesy vehicle, and I accepted. It turned out that between contacting the previous dealership, and ordering parts, it took a little over three weeks to finish the work, but since I had a loaner it was not an inconvenience at all. Huge thanks to all of the employees that assisted me at Matt Slap, you are awesome!!
